Scheer should let Bernier end supply management

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's episode of The Ezra Levant Show, I explained why Conservative Party leader Andrew Scheer should make Maxime Bernier the party's point-man on ending supply management in Canada's dairy sector.

The Scheer/Bernier feud reminds Ezra of the Liberal Party infighting between Prime Minister Jean Chretien and Finance Minister Paul Martin; Chretien gave Martin the most challenging portfolio and made use of his financial acumen. The strategy worked and the Liberals remained united for a decade.

Scheer should take a lesson from Chretien and put Bernier in a position to fight the powerful Quebec dairy lobby he claims to oppose. If Scheer's right about the fight being political suicide, he'll have removed a major leadership opponent.

How is supply management a subsidy? Dairy farmers pay alot of money to be allowed to produce and market milk. Farmers buy quota, which roughtly equates to $25000/unit. 1 unit equals roughly one cows milk per day. Milk 100 cows and u need 2.5mill worth of quota. The quota allowsu essentially a seat at the market table. Australia axed it several years ago and now there is an epidemic of farmer suicides. Im a free market guy. I’ve struggled with the principal of quota for years. But ive yet to see a better way anywhere in north america. It protects the family farmer. I realize most people couldnt care less. If you wanna talk about animal health, quality of product. Hands down the family farm produces the best product. Ive traveled all ove u.s and seen factory farming. And frankly its disgusting. What is max’s plan if he were to axe the quota system? Another government bail out for farmers who paid for this mandatory price to be able to produce? If not it will kill the canadian dairy sector. Which maybe is their goal…….then if thats the case whos the real globalist on the political stage……kill the canadian dairy sector and let the large multi-national companies move in……. Food for thought

I don’t trust any political parties in Ottawa.

2 alternatives I think you need to look at…
  1. National Citizens Alliance

  1. The Canadian Nationalist Party

How easy do you think it will be for the globalists to make Andrew Scheer their puppet when he does things like deleting his tweet about securing the border after getting criticized for it? Obviously, very easy. And if you’re worried about vote splitting. Voting for the Cons is almost the same as voting for Jihadi Trudeau. One puppet is on the red team, and the other puppet is on the blue team, but the agenda will stay the same in general. Now click those links, and help me raise awareness for REAL change this time. Because we’re not going to get it from the 4 major parties.

Kameron Cuk i think that is exactly what he will do , especially if Justin wins again. He will have tons of ammo against the CPC.

It took Harper years to unite the right. Where is he when we need him?

It is entirely Scheer’s fault as to why Maxime left. How does Scheer expect to lead, or unite people or get any kind of trade deal done if he can’t even communicate with Max?

Scheer would have to get head out of the UN’s butt first, which he’s unlikely to be able to do.

I just watched the news conference with Maxime. He said Scheer had not spoken to him in nine days.

“The Conservative Party is intellectually and morally bankrupt”. Maxime Bernier

Bernier will start his own party and to be honest, I would vote for him
-Freemarket
-Borders
-Getting back on track with US and NAFTA
-Doesn’t bow to media
You have my vote

Bernier just quit the PC party.
