Science Proves Media Is Not Making 'Honest Mistakes' in Trump Coverage

Rebel Staff

The media has been forced to issue some humiliating retractions in the past few weeks after reporting "fake news" about President Donald Trump. While the mainstream media claims that it has just been making "honest mistakes" in its Trump coverage, science has proves that this claim is also "fake news."

The settled science informs us that the more often you flip a coin, the more likely it is that there will be a 50/50  split of heads to tails. In other words, if you flip a coin 20 times, the probability of achieving a ratio of 8 heads and 12 tails diminishes greatly if you flip it 40 or 60 times. The closer you get to 100 coin flips, the closer you will get to a perfect 50/50 split of heads to tails.

Naturally, in order to achieve this perfect split, in order to conduct the experiment accurately, good faith must be involved. The person flipping the coin must show no bias and no personal investment towards the outcome. The coin-flipper must be interested in only one thing — an outcome that reveals objective truth.

Therefore, through the use of dispassionate science and math, the only conclusion one can come to when observing the national media’s relentless fire-hosing of fake news is that these are not “honest mistakes,” but instead deliberate lies — attempts from a biased and partisan media to destroy President Trump through a propagandistic crusade of calculated disinformation.

What allows us to safely come to this conclusion? Well, what would you think of a scientist who came to you with a coin-flipping experiment that resulted in 0 heads and 100 tails?

That is easy, you would know the experiment had been rigged, that he is lying. And you would know this because a 0/100 outcome is impossible without a corrupting influence, without a conscious act of bias. Moreover, you would know that an insistence that the experiment was ethical was an attempt to make a fool of you.

[...] Every honest mistake comes up tails for Trump.

Of course, many of us have known since long before the latest retractions were issued that the mainstream media has been against Trump from the beginning. This is in stark contrast to how leftwing reporters treated President Barack Obama, who they bent over backwards to portray in a positive light.

This came back to bite ABC News earlier this month when veteran reporter Brian Ross falsely reported that Michael T. Flynn, the former national security adviser, would testify that President Trump had directed him to make contact with Russian officials while Mr. Trump was still a candidate.

Last Friday, CNN was also forced to retract an erroneous report that stated that Donald Trump Jr. had received advance notice from WikiLeaks about a trove of hacked documents that it planned to release during last year’s presidential campaign.

It's no wonder that a record number of Americans say that they have lost faith in the mainstream media.

Once upon a time it was fact based non-biased reporting. We were told the facts and we decided what to think of the situation.

Then it became partizan, opinionated news with a slant. The inevitable result is what we have today. The news agencies that claim neutrality simply aren’t. News is interpreted to fit a point of view, with facts contrary to that view obscured or remain unreported. Also, we are being told what and how to think.

FOX news, for all its shortcoming, will report on the right and left as they screw up. It has no problem knocking a Republican when deserved. It also admits that it is a right leaning news source, and has leftist guests on who, essentially, embarrass themselves.

CNN, CBC, CTV, Global, MSNBC, NBC, BBC, et al don’t admit that they are biased. I would have more respect for them if they admitted it so people would know the slant presented, or understand the “fake news”.

Professional journalism, journalism schools, and news gathering agencies are no longer professional in its truest sense. More and more they are caught in lies and everyone is shocked, shocked I say. Yea. Right.

Greg McHale you mean those ones the MSM made up? LMAO! Now be a good sheep and give all your money away to those who know better what to do with it.

Jay Kelly yes you are a fool. A Jealous fool at that. Too bad for useful idiots like you that the truth gets exposed and Trump plays the liars like a fiddle. It is quite enjoyable.

None of us believe this. The so-called main stream media is made up of qualified reporters. These reporters have legitimate degrees in journalism, or else they are just seen as trustworthy.

Donald Trump is a fool. That is recognized around the world.

Qualified reporters are submitting legitimate stories about the antics of Trump.

By the MSM making-up “fake news” & outlets like CNN that are in lots of other countries around the World, the damage has already been done, even after they are exposed.

The gullible-sheep like GREG MCHALE below always fall for this BS!

I think when you want to talk about Fake News, you must also talk about Trumps lieS!!!!! THOUSANDS OF THEM THIS YEAR! Trump cannot be taken serious with so many lies, no one knows when he is telling the truth. this is science at its best…. Trump lies almost every day, never apologizes or acknowledges his lies. Trump is a fool!!!! a man suffering from mental illness, a 5 year boy in a 71 year old body!

we all make mistakes but most of us acknowledge them, correct and apologize, not Trump EVER!!! this is standard fare for Putin in Russia and all Russian leaders. Perhaps Trump has more in common with Russians than Americans?

But do CBC or CTV ever retract their lies or the CNN lies they’re repeating?
I don’t recall ever hearing them correct themselves.

I just love it when CNN ‘loses’ the connection with someone being interviewed when they disagree.

Best thing you can do is to abandon all fake media sources. That is how they become irrelevant.

John Zealand, good one!

… Keith: Disagree. Except for government media like the CBC, media are privately owned. They should be free to call anything news.
… It is up to us to be educated, and to learn to recognize corruption. We can’t just be babies expecting to be spoon fed.

It should be the law. If a news outlet covers a political article, it should give equal time or space to all other political party’s to respond.

The fake media would use a two headed coin to cheat in the experiment.

… The American, and Canadian, media know that it is over. The incestuous glory days of Weinstein, Clinton, Obama etc, are over. The Left has lost. Trump was the turning of the tide.. the waking up of the American people (Canadians are still sleep walking with PM Fairy).
… Thus the Left has abandoned all pretext of reason, and are now hurtling though a universe of compete madness. “Bye Left, take care…”
