Sderot: The bomb shelter capital of the world

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

On day three in Israel, I’m at an indoor playground in Sderot that also serves as a bomb shelter.

It was built with the help of the Jewish National Fund (JNF).

Sderot is just one kilometre away from the Gaza strip which means the people here live with the constant threat of bomb attacks and explains why approximately 70% of the children exhibit some form of PTSD symptoms.

I remember well the Air Raid shelters in London UK, during WW2. I well remember the smells of Vomit, Excrement, and Fear, yes you can smell fear,
Bad memory’s.
I hope the the people of Israel do not have to use their shelters to much.
