We’re so fortunate to have social justice warriors like Margaret Sawyer in our midst who will gleefully cry “racism” – even when no true racism exists, as she did with a Red Cross poster promoting pool safety.
Sawyer was shocked when she saw the “offensive” poster at a pool in Salida, Colorado which she viewed as blatantly racist even though it depicts children of different races.
The problem? More black children than white children are shown doing something that’s “not cool”, to use the words employed on the poster.
In total, three black kids doing uncool things versus two white kids doing uncool things.
Gracious, did the Red Cross purchase this artwork from the Ku Klux Klan?
Sawyer demanded removal of the poster, vented online and spoke to the media.
Other sensitive SJW’s weighed in on social media with one proclaiming, not only is the poster racist, “its super-racist.”
This is what's deemed “racism” today? If Rosa Parks were alive, she’d likely tell these people to “get a life.” Instead, proving what a hyper-racially sensitive world we live in, the Red Cross pulled the poster, issued a grovelling apology and committed to bringing in a "diversity advocacy organization".
Poor Red Cross. They have no idea what they’ve done. I predict the first suggestion will be that they change their name and logo. I mean, a cross? Do they not realize how many people are offended by such imagery?!
