But this woman reads articles.
They’re the wrong articles, or else she doesn’t understand written English.

God help this world.

Abortion is a serious issue and should not become any more ‘normalized’ than it already is. It is a woman’s right to take control of her body and not get pregnant in the first place. In my conscience, rape, incest or mortal physical threat to the mother would be exceptions; although in most cases early detection could eliminate all but a few abortions past heartbeat. The culture has to change for that to happen.

Listening to the two queer guys (not using gay anymore) debating abortion was entertaining. Good for the fellow with the hat.

The girl in the plaid shirt who was picking her teeth with the same pencil(?) she was using to clean her fingernails, almost sounds like she knows what she is talking about, but I don’t think she does. While her comment that it isn’t actually the heartbeat, at six weeks, “its the blood pumping through the vessel” (?) and up to 4 months its “usually( ?) the mothers heartbeat”, may sound like it may be plausible, I can find nothing to back up what she says. I did find articles which state that at six weeks the heart’s four chambers have formed, the blood will start to flow in and out and that the heartbeat at 6 weeks is about 80 beats per minute.

Pregnancy tests these days can be accurate at 4 or 5 weeks, I have even heard of a test that is accurate at 3 weeks. So if you just can’t keep that quarter from falling from your grip between your knees, have kits on hand, so at least your won’t be going past heartbeat development – if it is an unwanted pregnancy. That would be my realistic suggestion.
