August 06, 2017 Help us raise $1 million for Omar Khadr's victims

Brian LilleyArchive

By now you’ve heard about the outrageous settlement that Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government gave to confessed terrorist Omar Khadr: An apology and $10.5 million.

Meanwhile, the real victims, the Speer family, get nothing.

That's why we are launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise $1 million for the Speer children, at

Remember, Khadr threw the grenade that killed Sgt First Class and medic Christopher Speer. Speer left behind wife Tabitha and children Taryn and Tanner.

According to several published reports, the timeline for paying Khadr off was moved up to make sure that Tabitha Speer could not collect on the judgment she received in a wrongful death suit.

We can denounce this deal all we want, but it was cast in stone before we even knew about it. And Trudeau lied about it to our faces.

What we can do is help the Speer family.

We want to raise this money to show Tabitha, Taryn and Tanner Speer that not all of Canada stands with confessed terrorist and killer Omar Khadr.

And all the money we raise at will go to them.

IndieGogo, the most transparent of the crowdfunding sites that we have used, will take a small processing fee to cover their expenses and credit card fees, but anything we get will go to the Speer kids.

Please consider donating now at

If you would rather donate by cheque, make it payable to "For Canada," and put "Speer Kids" in the memo line. Then mail it to:

PO Box 61056, Eglinton/Dufferin PO, Toronto, ON, M6E 5B2

We can shake our fists that money is going to a confessed terrorist in our name...

Or we can open up our wallets and help the real victims, the children that grew up without their father.

Please consider donating now at

Thank you!

Real Canadians will stand beside our American Friends no matter what trudeau blurts out and steals from Canadians pockets and gives to Canadian and American enemies….. trudeau does not speak for Real Canadians…

Sgt. Speer suffered for 10 hours before dying thanks to the grenade that Khadr threw at him. Khadr bragged that killing Speer was the best day of life life. Enough is enough. As a Canadian, I am ashamed of Trudeau’s sneaky deal that ensured the widow of Speer, Tabitha, didn’t receive a penny. Khadr was not a child soldier, he wasn’t drugged and forced to be a terrorist, he was an illegal enemy combatant and willingly worked with the Taliban and Al Qaeda, making IEDs and teaching other Muslim terrorists to make them. How many of those IEDs killed soldiers, including Canadian soldiers.

I used to think Jay Kelly was retarded but I now I see he’s just your garden variety beta sociopath.

Jay Kelly, you are a taqiyya spewing Muslim Terrorist apologist. Don’t insult the memory of Christopher Speer by coming on here and making excuses for his murderer. You are a coward and a lying troll. Have some respect and back off.

Regarding the crowd fund. Maybe there should be a crowdfund every year for the Speer family, since our government is only interested in rewarding the terrorist , Omar Khadr.
A yearly campaign with the story highlighting Speer’s bravery and humanity, as well as an update on Khadr, his whereabouts, his and his families activities, including travel and who their ‘friends’ are.
A yearly crowdfund would avoid the fatigue which happens to almost any crowdfund after the first flurry of donation. Lets do it fresh every year and never forget the heroism of Christopher Speer and the cowardice of Justin Trudeau in rewarding his murderer and shaming Canadians and insulting Americans to the bone. Justin Trudeau’s actions will never be forgotten and a crowdfund on the anniversary will honour Christopher Speer for many years to come.

Drew Wakariuk and Liza Rosie are birds of a feather. They are ashamed of their own identity and probably, even now, promote U.S. President Donald Trump. They do not appreciate the freedom of expression they can exercise in Canada today.

They promote fundraising for the children of U.S. servicemen, but they probably do not even know what they are talking about.

Do we know the pain of the family of United States’ Sergeant First Class Christopher Speer who died trying to provide medical help? Do we know the journey of Omar Khadr who, at 15 years of age, lost one eye and was shot twice in the back?

Some Rebel commenters should be ashamed of themselves. Trying to defend conservative opinions at the cost of human nature.

2002, fifteen years ago, the United States’ medic Christopher James Speer was killed by an exploding grenade as he hurried to assist victims after a firefight in Khost, Afghanistan. In that same firefight a group of ISIS fighters was killed. Face-down in the rubble was found the unconscious body of a fifteen year old Canadian, Omar Khadr, who was seriously injured and had lost one eye. Subsequently he was shot twice in the back.

The Rebel, God bless them, has chosen to raise funds to assist the two children of the heroic American medic.

Fifteen years later? What gives. Why did you not start to raise funds earlier? Is The Rebel solely a political rant that has no feelings for genuine human suffering and struggle? You play games with the family of a heroic U.S. soldier and medic, and you do everything to demonize a fifteen year old.

Jay Kelly you twat.. The man killed and the man blinded were done so by a brutal, barbaric Canadian traitor. This is peoples way of apologizing to the victims and the US because of the payout given Khadr by our despicable PM.

I’m a vet and this is not right. 159 Canadian families are missing a loved one and now the MAGALO’s and their friends come out 15 years later to find their hearts to support Speer’s widow.
Where were you all this time???

Help us raise $1 million for Omar Khadr’s victims.
One man was killed and another blinded. We were right on that fifteen years ago when the events unfolded. That is why we are asking you for funds today.
We did not notice what happened those years ago but we do now! Give us your money.

Ffing paid troll is at it again under a new name, where oh where could that …what was his last handle, I can’t even remember, Jack Carter, Jimmy Duh Sylva, something Reece( buttercup), Michel Mann etc etc. same paid troll. Same tired old lies and slander and unoriginal attacks.
ffing paid troll, scum sucking bottom feeder, something you might scrape off the bottom of your shoe.
He comes on here, and trolls a crowdfunder for the widow of Christopher Speer who Justin Trudeau is hosing as a result of a fast and dirty settlement to convicted, confessed murderer, Omar Khadr. What kind of a heartless, morally corrupt person does that?
A sick paid troll full of fear and loathing that’s who.
Crawl back under your rock Greenslime, you moldy putz.

In the other case the guy was member of an anti semetic group, what part of that eludes your research? Or do you like it when the SCOC can order the government not to enforce the law for absolutely no reason based on the law? That is tyranny.
commented 2017-07-18 21:39:23 -0400
Michael Greenville you crow about research , how about you look at how many in the media have been sued for slander, Ezra is hardly unique in that matter. And look at the origin of the word GYPPED , Ezra did not lie.
commented 2017-07-18 21:37:19 -0400
MIcheal Greenville please tell me why you cannot sue for slander after being sued for it? How does that make it laughable? You are a an ignorant fool. You go be a good sheep for censorship , see where it gets you. And Tommy Robinson is a target of government and you damn well know it. He should not be arrested for reporting on certain groups. Nor should Ezra have to pay for 900 days of defense for printing cartoons he had every damn right to print. Please tell me what law he broke doing that? You can either be part of the solution or part of the problem , PICK ONE!
commented 2017-07-18 21:33:27 -0400
Michael Greenville being sued for slander does not make one a liar you halfwit. And he threatened that guy with a lawsuit for lying about him keeping the money for himself. Please prove he lied in any of those cases. Sorry but your ignorant opinion does not mean people can lie about him. If you think our justice system seeks truth you are pretty lost. And sorry he is not a convicted liar , try looking up the meaning of that term. Many people slander him in the comment section as they do to all the commenters, i have been called a homophobe, an islamophobe, a racist , i am none of those , but people have the right to their opinion. Those who use the courts as a political tool are scum.

Drew! My very point was that Ezra Levant has, more than once, been successfully sued for slander. I don’t think he has sued anyone for slander. For him to do that would be the pot calling the kettle black. It would be a hoot!
Drew, if there were a word of a lie in ANYTHING I have said about anyone on this website, I would be worried over statements I have made here, such as
But I am not worried, because everything I have ever said on here is absolutely true. I have never been contacted by Ezra Levant or anyone else connected with this website. I never expected to be, because I never have slandered anyone, nor do I ever intend to.
Ezra Levant once wanted to run federally for the Conservatives or for the Reform Party in Preston Manning’s old riding. Why do you think he has never run for politics since then? It may be because he knows he would have no chance of winning, even in that same riding, because he would be running on his record of lying.

In order for to get the message across to our American friends that we do not condone Justin Trudeau’s actions, going to American media was the best way to do it, I imagine was the reasoning.
Brilliant move in my books.

Canadians have to rely on FOX for fair and balanced reporting. Sad.

Jay Kelly you got a problem with me?
commented 2017-07-16 21:12:36 -0400
Drew Wakariuk and two spam artists responded on here. Maybe this is not the best place to be.

Ezra Levant has some strong statements to make. Can we support him as an advocate of free speech?

The Rebel is small but could become big.
commented 2017-07-16 01:27:03 -0400
Michael Greenville do you also believe all the crap about Trump? You seem to have little life experience.
commented 2017-07-16 01:26:11 -0400
Michael Greenville you believe lies then accuse us of the same thing. Show me actual proof or you are just a phony whiner.
commented 2017-07-16 01:24:22 -0400
Michael Greenville the so called questions were quickly stopped when Ezra threatened to sue the idiot for slander, so that is not much of an argument. Just because some fool tries to make him look bad, it does not mean that he is. And sorry i see no proof of him lying. If you mean those civil cases , that is hardly proof. And it does not mean he lied. Try and learn the difference. And the UK government wanted Tommy in jail so he could be attacked, So spare me the left wing whitewash of things.

Excellent question, Rob Greeley! Are we united with our American cousins or not?

They certainly look different, with their pale frightened expressions and pretend anger. In the military Canadian soldiers are brave men and women, sometimes naïve, who want to serve their country. They tend to look a bit more tanned and happy than their counterparts in the United States.
United States soldiers look a bit stunned by what they have been asked to do. They also tend to identify themselves as “white” or “black”.

In Canada our military has prided itself by including all of us, regardless of our backgrounds. British, Italian, Indian, Scottish, Roman Catholic, Ukrainian Catholic, Hindu, Baptist, Methodist.

We might not be “white” or “black” as our neighbours to the South are but we are certainly united with our American cousins.

All Rebels..Are we united with our American Cousins?

Post it LOUD AND CLEAR!…..Yes or No….
commented 2017-07-15 20:09:43 -0400
I have never said that other people don’t lie. Ezra Levant has been proven to have lied. Are you afraid to find out the truth for yourself, Drew? Is that why you keep denying it? “I see no proof” proves to me that you haven’t even tried looking. Get back to me once you have really done a search. Okay? 😎

The Rebel IS Ezra Levant, Drew. In any event, one of his contributors has been convicted of fraud in the UK. I think that writer was also asking for money from you.

Back to The Rebel and Levant. There were questions about the legitimacy of one of his earlier “fundraising” endeavors. That information is also freely available if you spend just a few moments looking for it, Drew. 💰

Michael Greenpill why would you get upset about the Rebel sponsoring a noble cause anyways? Do you hate victims of scum like Khadr for some reason? I can show you that Justin lied numerous times as well as the CBC , but you cannot do the same.
