Sports Illustrated co-ops #MeToo — and strikes out

Sports Illustrated is promoting their annual swimsuit issue with a video endorsing the #MeToo campaign.

You'd think if SI truly wanted to support the goals of that movement, the magazine would move away from publishing fleshy swimsuit images. But clearly, that wouldn't sell as many copies or get as many clicks.

So now we have yet another faction of the sports industry joining the ranks of the NFL, the NBA and ESPN in aimlessly pandering to liberal rhetoric.

Needless to say, many in media and the Twitterverse were unimpressed with the SI campaign, as I'll show you.

Amanda: Thank you for ditching the cleavage-revealing outfits that you were wearing when you started doing these videos. I really like your presentations – you have my type of sense of humour and appropriate body language. And now the modest dress of a self-proclaimed conservative, Christian woman fills out the picture perfectly:)
