Still waiting for Camp Cloud crackdown: Will rule of law ever prevail on Burnaby Mountain? (Guest: Robbie Picard)

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

I'm fresh off my trip to Burnaby British Columbia. I went there to be one of the few critical voices, and as a result, had the misfortune of feasting my eyes on the so-called Camp Cloud anti-pipeline slum that sits adjacent to a Kinder Morgan facility.

It's a place where the law doesn't exist.

People claiming to be “water keepers” are living in the ditch despite bylaws against it. They’re building permanent structures that reach up to the power lines despite building codes that say this is dangerous. They trespass on Kinder Morgan land despite restraining orders to keep them away. And they openly flout their drug use on Facebook.

While I was there, an eviction order came in from the City to remove the hovels and tents but it wasn't enforced and the Camp’s “residents” have vowed to continue their fight from their squalid location.

But long before I ever went to Burnaby Mountain, my friend Robbie Picard from Oil Sands Strong went there to tell us what it's really like.

Robbie joins me tonight to discuss the lawlessness at Camp Cloud now that we've both seen it for ourselves.

The eviction notice needs to be immediately executed by any means necessary, arrest this vermin and send in heavy equipment to level all the structures. Do a 6:00 am raid and have the bulldozers at the ready, sweep for explosives and booby traps. The crew in charge of flattening this slum should wear hazmat suits!

Politicians are not supposed to have direct control over police actions . Politicians are supposed to pass laws as directed by the citizens and then police and other enforcement entities are supposed to enforce those laws and regulations.Obviously here we have a politician acting as Chief of Police and of course we have the omnipresent leftist media to defend lawlessness in the name of a higher cause, whatever that may be.
I’ve always said if you don’t want a law enforced then rescind it by way of the law making process. Otherwise as politicians, get the hell out the way and let law enforcement do their jobs.
Getting down to brass tacks , whatever the occupiers number, have a four to one ratio of police to occupier . Go in and arrest each and every individual ,secure a perimeter and bulldoze down the entire camp.
Why should any citizen obey the law, even traffic law when this level of lawlessness is allowed. Its called anarchy and time to dispose of the politicians that promote it.

Best way to get rid of these guys is to close the local Beer Store.

Plump eco warriors need oil too! I also like the oil sands strong vignettes of the beauty of Fort McMurray.

They won’t leave until they are made to leave & the government refuses to do anything. They aren’t stopping development, leftist politicians are. Do you think that if they were stopping something that these leftist politicians wanted they’d be able to delay it for even a day? If the people living there reelect their pathetic mayor then I’d say most of the people deserve to live with this human garbage camp. Mainstream media – friend of the political elitists, enemy of the people.
