Success! Rebel viewers help make Notley recognize two Alberta Heroes

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

I love when a plan comes together. This plan would not have worked out without your help and I need to thank you!

The Alberta Government asked for nominations of people who demonstrated courage, compassion or went above and beyond during the Wood Buffalo Wild Fire, and I had two people in mind as you can see in this video HERE.

I asked you to go the Alberta Government Heroes of The Wildfire website and nominate Fort McMurray Wildrose MLAs Brian Jean and Tany Yao. Then I asked you to sign my petition at AlbertaHero.com so that I had an accurate head count in the event that Rachel Notley thought she could ignore us all.

Fortunately, it never had to come to that. Watch my video to see the update from MLA Tany Yao.

Thank you for helping me force Rachel Notley to do the right thing and set partisanship aside and honour these two great Albertans.

These little victories must drive the NDP wild.

Rebel definitely helped bring this to Notley’s attention. However, I give her the benefit of doubt and credit. While she seems to have fallen quite a ways from the tree that were her devout, ethical parents; I will like to think she knows what right.

So, yes, good on Rebel for the nomination, but good on Notley for acting on it.

I hope we don’t get too big for our pants when we become GOLIATH of news media— which will happen next year
