Suzuki makes “Big Foot” size carbon footprint to attend Ottawa rally —- to tell attendees to drive and fly less

Brian LilleyArchive

Like most progressives, David Suzuki believes in one set of rules for himself, and another set of rules for the rest of us.

This week Suzuki flew all the way to Ottawa from Vancouver to attend a climate change rally. He was joined by thousands of other believers who were bused in from outside Ottawa. Did I mention their bus was left idling while they tended to the important business of listening to people like Suzuki lecture everyone else about climate change?

According to a website that lets people pay their climate guilt through offsets, his flight to Ottawa spewed out nearly two tons of carbon emissions which is almost a quarter of the average Canadian’s yearly output.

Why didn’t Suzuki send a video message instead of flying across the country for a few minutes of speaking and a photo op? The protestors ended their march on Parliament Hill where a large TV screen was parked, running off of a truck and generator, showing images of other climate change rallies, so it shouldn’t have been too difficult to “connect” all these individuals who are so worried about climate change.

When you tally up all of the jet-setting Suzuki and other progressive heroes do, I can only conclude they don’t really mean what they say. They just believe in lecturing the rest of us, trying to control us and making government bigger so they can push their agenda on us.

But don’t expect them to change any time soon because with progressives, it’s always just more “do as I say, not as I do”.

This Suzuki guy is really getting on my nerves. Let’s face it, the world has run amok with a multitude of self deserving, self gratifying nitwits like Suzuki who will one day be dead, poisoning our earth with their putrid remains!

Brian, you can’t expect global “warming” extremists be expected to stand in the “cold” without having a warm place provided by the very thing they are protesting against. Fossil fuel use is only to be used by the elites(politicians, Suzuki, Gore, PS union members, and anyone else found worthy), not the commoners, like everyday hard working Canadians.

Let’s not forget that al gores mansion uses as much energy in a month as the average home does in a year. I’m sure Suzuki is a close second

The UN is masterminding things. Who are THEY.

Climate change, The biggest scam ever, instigated by the grubby little Communists running the UN. The climate has not changed at all since 1997, The temperature for this planet is one horizontal line, when shown o a graph.
The UN is in the process of taking control of the World and they need to have complete control over populations. Restricting travel options is just the beginning, they have already started hitting on Farmers. In Australia they have put so many regulations on growing certain crops that it has become uneconomical to grow them, so now Australia has to import these crops at great cost. In Canada, it is the UN controlled Unions, who are involved in unionizing farm workers, causing food prices to rise.
As long as we have people like Notley, Wynne and Trudeau in power, the situation can only get worse. We need to pull out of the UN. Suzuki is an Idiotic Moron.

We couldn’t let these kooks get onto cold buses after standing out in the cold for several minutes could we. Oh the humanity! Warmth for them, cold for the rest of us. In the typical hypocritical world of progressives our pain shall not be their pain. In an ideal world someone would be taking names and addresses and shutting off the heat and power to every protester there, then they could really practice what they preach!

Ok, so Suzuki the great flies to the nation’s capital to expound his wisdom on the masses. Who are the masses that were bussed in, and why weren’t they doing something constructive, like, maybe working? Damn, every time I go on this website I get madder and madder. Now I know why the old man was always pissed off at Trudeau Sr. At least a 1000 farmers got their message across at the leg today, and even CTV ran the story, as much as it would have hurt them to do so. Just watching Justy’s speech to the other climate change idiots, what an asshole.

More proof the regressives believe in one set of rules for us and another for them. And, don’t these people have jobs. Of course not. Too demeaning. Collect Social Assistance and protest!

Ochlocracy, or mob rule, is the rule of government by mob or a mass of people, or the intimidation of legitimate authorities.
The whole of the ‘enviromental’ movement is predicated on intimidation by the mob. Large groups of mindless drones marching and parroting whatever their handlers tell them them to say. With the likes of cowards like Butts pulling the strings while hiding in the shadows we can expect these mob events to only increase in number and severity.

Dear Diary;
Gerald’s just explained to me about that queen saying she felt old wasn’t really her way of taking my poke at her with good humour. It was really what Gerald called a veiled dig at me for being young. Aside from chucking her portrait in the garbage, I’m getting sick and tired of these old farts. This at least validates me for saying that it’s the middle class that needed the most help, and to hell with that stupid report about Canada’s middle class, under Stevie, becoming the wealthiest in the world, when it’s obvious to anyone that those who I’ve said need help the most will have voted for me. And anyway, why waste good revenue on people that don’t have long to live.
No rest for the wicked. My environmental gal, Catherine McKenna, has got everyone here confused because they don’t understand my plan for having legally binding agreements with targets and consequences that are not legally binding. I know, what could be simpler, right? At least before she tried for about the fourth time to explain it, she blamed their confusion on the fact that allegedly she’s a lawyer. Geez, I hope she doesn’t turn out to be another fake like Kirsti Duncan.
Thank goodness my BFF (B.O.) stepped in and cleared things up with his genius. He explained that because we cause climate change and climate change causes terrorism it then behoves us to feel responsible and guilty for anything in the world that’s not quite right. By that time everyone had forgotten about what toots was trying to say, and they all nodded their heads knowingly. Isn’t he something else?
This isn’t what I need right now because I’d no sooner given that Indian PM guy a piece of my mind the other day when I find out he’s gone and arrested a Canadian journalist. Next thing I’m gonna have that Clooney woman bitching at me for not doing enough. C’mon people, remember, I’m working two or three times harder than anyone else.

My right foot gets heavier and heavier each time i read about these HYPOCRITES. I rev my engine more just to spite these fools, if that bothers you then tell Suzuki to burn less carbon first.
