Suzuki maligns grassroots groups speaking truth to foreign-funded environmentalist power (Guest: Michelle Stirling)

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

David Suzuki is taking aim at small pro fossil fuel organizations.

In a recent op-ed for The Straight, Suzuki railed against Canada Action, Ethical Oil, Resource Works, the International Climate Science Coalition, Friends of Science, and the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, calling into question their funding sources.

Suzuki accuses them of being “phony’ and “astroturfed,” surmising that these grassroots groups are the manufactured political arms of dreaded “big oil” saying they must be stopped - yanked out by the roots!

This is a strange and hypocritical position to take given that the Suzuki Foundation has a strong financial relationship with foreign-funded, radical environmental organizations like the Wilberforce Foundation and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

According to independent researcher, Vivian Krause, as of 2012 Suzuki’s Foundation had already received $13M from foreign sources, dwarfing the meagre, mostly membership funded $150,000 annual budget at Friends of Science.

But despite their tiny footprint, Friends of Science has Suzuki afraid. Good.

Joining me tonight to discuss what it's like to become one of the latest targets of Suzuki’s angst is Michelle Stirling from Friends of Science.

You mentioned that Suzi was under investigation by the CRA until a panel stopped the prosecutions. The five panel members were Marlene Deboisbriand (Chair), Shari Austin, Susan Manwaring, Kevin McCort and Peter Robinson.
Marlene Deboisbriand is on the board of Imagine Canada, a charities umbrella organization. Other panel members included the CEO of the David Suzuki Foundation, Peter Robinson, no conflict there, and a charities lawyer and partner at Miller Thomson, Susan Manwaring. From the Miller Thompson website ‘Susan Manwaring is a recognized leading expert advising social enterprises, charities and non-profits in her practice. Susan provides both general counsel and specialized tax advice to her clients across Canada and internationally. Susan is the national lead of the Social Impact Group at Miller Thomson.’ Shari Austin is the VP of Corporate Citizenship and Executive Director of the RBC Foundation. RBC where she leads the corporate social responsibility program. Kevin McCort appears to be the president/ceo of the Vancouver Foundation whose website reads ‘We work with individuals, corporations and charitable agencies to create permanent endowment funds and then use the income to support thousands of charities. The original capital is endowed so that it generates income in perpetuity.’
It is obvious that the advisory panel was a sham and a setup to get the required response and payback the support they provided. Could you do a segment on the buddy buddy relationship between the government and the environmental charities
Keep up the good work

Don’t expect Suzuki to figure out what a raging hypocrite he is. He surrounds himself with his hive mind & shuts out any dissenting opinions. The result is a vision of a fantasy world (with him in the middle). Wind & solar cannot survive without massive subsidies. If they were at all viable as a large scale energy source they wouldn’t need subsidies or a green agenda. The free market would have embraced them.

The Fruit Fly strikes again.
I think this guy injected himself with fruit fly DNA and is now a real fruit fly.

Suzuki worships money, he has been bought and paid for many times over. He is a complete fraud.

David Suzuki’s reputation destroyed on Australian TV (ABC1 23-Sep-2013)

“Bill Koutalianos mentioned to environmental activist David Suzuki that many man-made global warming advocates refuse to acknowledge the fact that UAH, RSS, HadCRUT, and GISS data show relatively flat global temperatures since 1998. Suzuki looked confused and asked what these references are. Bill had to explain to Suzuki that these temperature data sets are consulted by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for their reports. Suzuki was still clueless. When it was explained that UAH is the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Suzuki could only offer a slur on climate skeptics in Huntsville. Suzuki implied that climate scientists in Alabama are redneck idiots, and by inference extended this opinion to the temperature monitors at NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), the private company Remote Sensing Systems (RSS), and the Hadley Centre at the UK Met Office along with the Climate Research Centre at the University of East Anglia (HadCRUT). All say global temperature rise has stalled for more than a decade. The simpler conclusion is that Suzuki is the idiot.”

This news is laughable. Suzuki owns 5 homes scattered around the world and a dozen high end exotic cars. All burning fossil fuels.

Suzuki by definition is truly a hypocrite:

QMI Agency has learned that Suzuki, who’s made a name for himself fighting for the environment and against development, owns four homes, including one property he co-owns with a fossil fuels company.
His primary abode is a sprawling mansion in the Kitsilano neighbourhood of Vancouver, worth approximately $8.2 million.
At Occupy Vancouver, Suzuki extolled the virtues of his anti-corporate agenda and condemned excess.
He owns another slightly more modest property in the Kitsilano neighbourhood. Its value is listed as $1.01 million.
Suzuki owns a waterfront property on the Quadra Island area off the B.C. coast, that appears from photos to be something of a cottage getaway, complete with boat dock. The property is valued at $1.1 million.
Perhaps most interesting is a property on Nelson Island of which Suzuki is one of several co-owners listed on a B.C. land title registry, another of which includes Kootenay Oil Distributors.
Nelson Island is predominantly forested with little economic activity and a tiny permanent population.

… Saint Suzuki tells us that the world is desperately overcrowded, that we’re overpopulated, and that we’re going to run out of things. But in his own life, Secret Suzuki has five children. …
Saint Suzuki rails against corporations and profits. He even gave a well-received anti-capitalist speech at the Occupy Vancouver protest. But Secret Suzuki himself has several corporations. One of them, the David Suzuki Foundation, took in a whopping $9 million last year and has $12 million in assets. More than 10 million of that is invested in stocks and bonds. Saint Suzuki despises lobbyists, and says they have a disproportionate control of political power in Ottawa. But Secret Suzuki himself has nine paid lobbyists registered in Ottawa’s lobbyist registry. Not one. Nine. …

Just another example of the nasty personality of Dr. Fruit Fly… He has always had a mean streak in him exemplified by not debating – a la his appearance in Australia – and years ago proposing that politicians who do not agree with him should be “jailed”… The only thing that has kept him out of a mediocre existence, given his petulant personality, are the millions and prominence given to him by the “Exploding Pineapple Corporation” over the years…

Its so funny environmentalists think that trying to change the worlds temperature isn’t some plan Dr. Evil wouldn’t come up with. They actually think its a good idea.
“lets change the temperature of the world! Bwahhhhahahaha” and all we will need to do it is…. “one million dollars” (pinky to cheek) and que the laughter.

Suzuki is nothing but a dirty little con artist who makes his money by spinning BS to the simple minded. He is helping the NWO/Islamic yahoo’s by hitting on the oil industry with his Climate Science. Can anybody remember Climate Change aka Global Warming? This guy is so full of hot air that it is a wonder he dose not float away, every time he opens his mouth he contributes to his Global Warming, just with the BS he espouses.

Thanks for exposing this bearded bandit who’s robbing the poor and elderly. Scum like him needs to be exposed. Sunlight truly is the best disinfectant and the light you’ve shone on Suzuki’s immoral activities and bullying needs to spread. We should all share these shows to Twitter, Facebook, and all the other social media outlets. Let’s do it before we get shut out by Silicon Valley censors.

If we had a real government in Alberta, they would officially name Suzuki as an enemy of Alberta.
