Suzuki smears Canadian mining companies as “disgusting”

Christopher WilsonRebel Commentator

David Suzuki is at it again slandering and smearing Canadian industry, this time, Canada’s mining companies.

It was about one year ago that Suzuki likened the Canadian oil and gas industry to plantation slavery which, following his analogy, would make the thousands of hard working Canadian men and women, concerned about the future prospects of their careers, like slave owners.

What a bizarre, out of touch thing to say.

And today we heard more of the same in a Rabble.ca piece where Suzuki calls the Canadian mining industry and our mining companies “disgusting”.

Suzuki is brave when he’s popping off among his friends at the CBC and Rabble but we’ve all seen how he runs away when challenged with skeptical questions.

So why don’t we see more push-back from the industries that he regularly maligns?

We’ve seen the difference it can make when companies stand up for themselves and defend the hard working Canadians who make a living in the resource sector.

Let’s hope more will learn to speak up instead of remaining silent in the face of these environmentalist smear-jobs.

Having just watched Sheila’s report too, maybe it’s time we ended all mining – gold, silver, nickel, iron, diamonds, etc., oil production, forestry, fishing, electricity production etc., and just import all of the things we need from third-world shit-holes where they have no environmental or labour standards that come even close to Canada’s. Sure, it will destroy our economy, but what the hell, we’ll live in the most environmentally friendly country in the world and Justin-sane, Kathleen Wynnsanity and Rachel Nutley will receive their coveted Nobel Prizes. Oh and by the way Millennials, say good-bye to your inheritance as your parents’ investments crumble to nothing…but at least you’ll have a nice clean place to pitch your tent.

If he doesn’t say these things they won’t pay him to speak. How else will he pay for his 4 homes (hydro/gas), all his cars and oh so many trips around the world (planes, trains and automobiles). All to save the planet from us horrible gas guzzlers.

Suzuki is such a freak show!

Nice work Christopher. I have never realized that the passivity of the resource industries in the face of environmentalists’ slanderous campaigns is part of the rampant demonization of our culture, and it certainly is.

Hey Suzuki,

Where would the civilized world be if we did not have petroleum, chemical, mining, farming, aerospace, automotive or any other industry?

I’ll tell where, the west would be living in the seventh century much as today’s Muslims do.

We would be a cold, hungry, ignorant society living off the welfare and generosity of others.

So quit your bitching. It seems you have done pretty well for yourself while profiting from these industries and now like an ungrateful dog that you are, you bite the hand that feeds you.

A true liberal lunatic.

PS: I realize that the fruit fly will not be reading this post, he’s too busy mean mouthing everything and everyone that does not pay homage to his superior intellect.

Funny he says nothing about the enslavement of the people of underdeveloped countries.
Doesn’t have much to say about abuses in China, South Africa, South America. Is that because their governments would actually do something to stop him?
Ah but Canada has freedom of speech . . . as long as it toes the line of liberal propaganda.

“Mr Wilson , i also keep wondering why these industry companies don’t come out full force and fight back and declare war on the suzukis, anti-pipeline nuts , the ecoo nuts ,the nutleys ,turdo ,dykey winnie ,etc etc , when are they going to stick up for themselves because ….”

And THAT, my dear fellow, is THE sixty-four hundred dollar question. I can only think of two reasons:
a) terminal gutlessness, or
b) corporate greed – they have the expectation that it will be of greater benefit to go along with the f****** nonsense

In either case, they deserve as much contempt as you can muster.

Well, we can knock this louse all we want, but he’s just one in a long. long line of them who are rich and content because of the stupidity of two-thirds of the voting population that keeps voting Liberals/NDP/Green. And most of the remaining third votes for cowardly Conservatives who don’t have the honesty or guts to blow a whistle on this massive climate change scam.

Bud Lorry and Nnaumbua Farrell… Another “fun fact”… And his ownership of Nelson Island is shared with the East Kootenay Oil Distributors Company… Gee, do you suppose the product they sell doesn’t come out of the ground via drilling, but magically falls into their tanks as pixie dust with the morning dew?…

Great job Chris! I share your frustration and could never understand it. I’d go a step further if I were them and also file some private charges, for an “expert” like Suzuki has a Duty of Care, and his misinformation and extremism is a Breach of Trust.

Look, I’m pretty sure that’s a solar powered speedboat made entirely out of seaweed.

Christopher: Having lived on the West Coast, I still disagree with you on the fish farming. Even the Dr. Oz show on TV covered this subject, farmed versus wild salmon. This type of program reaches the average household and this particular program did a very good job of covering this subject.
Just because Suzuki was involved in this event, it doesn’t mean you have to automatically support this fish farming site.

Old David should spend more time brushing his teeth. Gross

He also should be forced to meet my “Are You a Climate Change Hypocrite?” challenge. http://heinzegroup.com/insight.htm#19 . But let’s face it, that will never happen. Makes you wonder, does he believe his rhetoric or just does not really care? Then again, he is probably making a killing of the Climate Change gravy train.

Being a Disingenuous Hypocrite is “disgusting”. "On the other side of the country, someone snapped a picture of one of David Suzuki’s four homes at the height of Earth Hour, which shows his house “with lights blazing.”

There are a thousand inklings in a clue. The problem with activists is they don’t have an inkling where their shit comes from.

Mad as a shitehouse rat – mad as in bitter and bigoted – now he suffers from age dementia and it s really obvious.

This is the misanthrope who likened people to “maggots” in one of his early xenophobic theories.

From my perspective science is the belief in the ignorance of "activists”

Whenever I see that picture of Suzuki in the banner, I always dream it was someone throwing a pie in his face and they succeeded.

Following up on my post from the Medicine Hat by-election: Suzuki clearly must have come from a family of enemy alien collaborators and learned the craft well. I wonder what he will do if his various paymasters come into conflict. At least we know the paymaster that hired him under the affirmative action program of the 1970’s will keep paying him…the CBC.

I can’t imagine why any Canadian still pays any attention to this whacked-out moonbat since his insane assertions in Australia a while ago about Harper’s alleged plans for special prisons for environmenalists. (If he had suggested asylums, he might have been on the right track)
Suzuki and Mayor Robertson would do Canadians a huge favour if they would just hike out to the middle of the West Coast Trail and stay there, camping out until The Big One hits them right in their smug faces.

Mr Wilson , i also keep wondering why these industry companies don’t come out full force and fight back and declare war on the suzukis, anti-pipeline nuts , the ecoo nuts ,the nutleys ,turdo ,dykey winnie ,etc etc , when are they going to stick up for themselves because I’m pretty sure the silent majority have no use for that senile old fool suzuki and his brain washed followers , it enrages me i have to pay taxes for suzuki and his ilk, Harper made one big mistake when he didn’t shut down the cbc and sell it .

They don’t care how many jobs they destroy or how much economic damage they do, because that’s what they’re trying to do.
