Before he was voted out of office, former Prime Minister Stephen Harper said the solution to the Syrian refugee crisis wasn’t in Canada’s refugee and immigration policy but rather, in the Middle East. It turns out, he was right.
A new study from the Alberta Association of Immigrant Serving Agencies surveying 100 Syrian refugees who have lived in the province for eight to eleven months, shows that while they like Canada, they’re having trouble learning the language, finding it difficult to get jobs and as a result are struggling financially.
Clearly, throwing taxpayer money at the problem and providing government welfare isn’t working so if Justin Trudeau and the Liberals really wanted to do something useful, they would have committed to fighting militant Islam in the Middle East.
While the media loses their collective minds over Donald Trump’s CNN memes and tweets, they fail to recognize that the President of the United States is actually the only one in the West doing anything about the crisis in the Middle East.
So how does our Prime Minister thank Trump for getting it right while his own plan isn’t working?
Trudeau’s obsession with his image is about as deep as the man gets and it seems he’s chosen to be the anti-Trump on the world stage simply for the optics showing once again that the only thing Justin Trudeau thinks or cares about is, Justin Trudeau.
