10 reasons college sucks (especially for conservatives)

Adam/Pathetic MillennialRebel Correspondent

I have five weeks left of college and I can’t wait to get out of there.

(LANGUAGE WARNING)

Now, college wasn't all bad for me. I met a lot of good friends and there were some profs that I really liked and that were really cool. But unless you’re going into STEM, college is a waste of time.

I've put together my 10 reasons colleges suck, and why being conservative in college sucks. (Well, not necessarily conservative — just anyone who is to the right of Stalin…)

For one thing, professors tell you that when you need to fact check something, you should go to CNN.

They get really triggered when you use "right wing" websites as sources. I tried to write an essay on gun control, and I was trying to be as unbiased as I could, so I looked at statistics and articles from both sides of the political spectrum. But when my prof saw Breitbart on my bibliography, he said,

“Breitbart? Yeesh, I don’t know..."

So I said, “Fine! I’ll do my essay on dolphins!”

Everyone likes dolphins right? So I wrote about a guy who did acid with dolphins.

Not all my complaints about college are about politics. For one thing, nobody in my generation parties.

When I was in high school, there was a house party nearly every weekend, so I thought when I got to college, there must be college parties. Nope.

When my buddy turned 19, I told him: "You only turn 19 once, so I’m going to buy you a bottle of Grey Goose, we’re going to duct tape your roommate to the wall, and we’re going to rage all night”.

His reply? “Nah, I’d rather just go home and hang out with my parents.”

What? When I was 19, I put my house address on Facebook. One hundred people showed up and I lost my cat.

What is wrong with my generation?

That's only part of it. WATCH to see all 10 reasons college sucked for me.

Like I said, unless you’re going into science, technology, engineering or math, college is a waste of time. Learn a trade instead.

Hi there. I’m realy glad to read this article. Cause you talk about very important things in present days. How students can learn well in such conditions. And of course, they will order works somewhere like https://pro-papers.com/research-papers-writing-service . Because they don’t have other way. We are mired in this system.

When I was young the expression was, “If you want to change the system become the system” and other words to that effect. Well, guess what! The every-thing-we-do-is-wrong folks are now in charge, and so just about everything taught is so far left and they can only live in Whackytown, just south of Idiotville.

First year engineering courses are pretty useless. Go to a trade school and learn more, actually apply what you are learning, and learn how to take responsibility – if you are a klutz or an idiot they actually tell you to move on to something else. If you are the best, apply to a university Master’s program. But no, We are told that we have to go to university to get an education.

Most people I knew at university and students I worked with got jobs outside their area of study, and are now in something they preferred. How many psychology, art history, literature, history, political science jobs are out there? How many engineers graduate and don’t know a thing?

BTW, cheating, lying, plagiarism, stealing, and failing are no longer reasons to be tossed from a university. If the school does try to kick you out, it ends up on the loosing end of a lawsuit. If a student keeps getting caught doing wrong, the disciplinary committee is usually three student reps and two profs, so nothing happens to you. Even when it was only profs nothing would happen except a Trudeau-like hemming and hawing “Don’t do that again”, which the student then turns around and does it again, and again, and again… After all, they paid tuition; they paid to be there, so “piss off”. At most Canadian universities tuition covers campus maintenance; the rest comes from the taxpayer.

The Arts courses are not what they used to be. Now you can get courses on Lesbian Transgender Dance In The Neolithic Period or some such nonsense. That will allow you to write blogs or have seventeen Youtube followers, but not much else, while you collect welfare because you are unemployable (bad work ethic, demands, bad attitude, lecturing everyone, incompetent, ignorant, doesn’t understand that when the boss says “No” it is a complete sentence, et cetera).

Ya know, in a way you have to feel sorry for the socialist students. The poor little fruit cups are being indoctrinated … have been since grade one. It takes a person with a strong personality and a good upbringing to stay sane while being force feed socialist crap. Good on you, Adam!

Hilarious! Love you vids Adam. Welcome to The Rebel.

Maybe Online/Distance learning is best. Avoid the on campus socialist garbage.
