Terror linked BC Mosque receives $53K “security grant” from Trudeau Liberals

Christopher WilsonRebel Commentator

Port Coquitlam’s Masjid Alhidayah and Islamic Cultural Centre is in the news again and as our previous reporting shows, when this BC mosque makes the news, it’s never a good thing.

In May former Imam Saladin Baar, was sentenced to 3.5 years in prison for sexually assaulting a female member of the mosque who had confided in him.

In September, it was revealed that a Canada Revenue Agency audit determined the same Imam had claimed at least $127,000 in questionable expenses, and most shockingly, was linked to the Qatari Eid Foundation – a known financier of terrorism with ties to Hamas militants.

Despite this, the CRA and our federal government responded by issuing the mosque a $9,000 fine, but din’t revoke the Islamic society's charitable status.

And this week, the federal government granted the mosque and Islamic society $53K as part of a Ministry of Public Safety program to improve security of communities at risk of hate motivated crimes!!!

Watch as I fill you in on the whole story, which doesn’t include any word from the government on the threats British Columbians might face due to this Islamic Society’s links to the Qatar-based, Hamas-front group, Eid Foundation.

But, should we really expect anything else from our virtue signalling federal Liberals?

Is Justin Trudeau putting Canadians — including fellow Muslim-Canadians — at risk in order to pander to the Muslim community for votes?

There’s no evidence of a growing threat of Islamophobia in Canada but there is an uptick in Mosques preaching anti-Semitism.

If this Islamic Society or any mosque was in fact a target of hate crimes, the measures would be understandable.

But in the aftermath of the sentencing of the former Imam for sexual crimes and revelations from the CRA audit showing terror ties, it seems awfully brazen of the government to suggest there’s ”nothing to see here".

20 something killed. 20 something injured. Looks like young adult, white kid. Antifa?
How bout some funding for our places of worship.

Sutherland Springs church massacre, Nov. 5.
Over 50 people got up this morning in Texas, dressed for Church and were shot dead while they were at worship. It has been hours and no word on the dead shooter. The only time they don’t make some sort of identification and make connections to a group, is you know when. I don’t understand how out of all the people in that church, no one was carrying. Somebody should have picked that guy off before he slaughtered everyone.
Yeah sure Mosques need government grants for 50,000 for security. If you are non Muslim, you don’t count in western countries anymore. Christians and Jews be damned. Get used to it. Carry on, its the new normal, don’t complain and don’t you dare blame.

I guess Trudeau never considered the equipment could be used to give mosque administrators a heads up if there is a lawful surveillance of the mosque, followed by a police raid?!!

Thanks, Mark Chadwick.
You are correct, has nothing to do with 150th. That’s just a smokescreen for Justin’s favorite hobby – giving away your tax dollars to his bosom buddies.

Oil can still be transported eastward by rail transport, although it can be risky and dangerous (Lac Megantic). Pompous Montreal Mayor Coderre may be out soon as he is tied in the polls to an unknown (Valerie Plante), so the Energy East pipeline may still happen one day.

The Fed’s carbon tax proposal is not as bad as it seems as all taxes will go to the provinces’ coffers. None go to Ottawa – or so they say. The money stays local. That is a good thing, cuz if Justin gets his hands on the cash, well… favorite hobby..

Christopher thank you for standing up to climate barbie and the cbc, you are now on their hate list , that must mean they are worried.

Great idea Trudope, protect mosques, not Canadians in general.

Krispy it was around 200 hundred thousand for a mosque in Kitchener Ontario for Canada’s birthday . A Canadian church was turned down because it was just a church whereas a mosque is a recitation centre a church and what ever . How that has anything to do with Canada’s 150th only god knows .
Off subject OPC is meeting to cut oil production and drive up prices . Canadian’s will wish we had a pipeline to the east coast . This is the plan to make it more expensive to drive a gas or diesel vehicle and push electric cars . Next will be the carbon tax . People are going to be pissed .

About a year and a half ago, there was a story about the federal liberals funding millions to a mosque or Islamic center in a city in Ontario. I don’t recall the details. Does anyone remember this?

Jihadi Justin enabling Islamism in Canada…………..!

It seems to me that Trudeau and his Liberals are playing favourites with Muslims. Would any other religion get the kid glove treatment that this religion gets? There is no objectivity here from the government when dealing with islam. They are a protected from some shadowy anti-Islam conspiracy that just doesn’t exist. This produces division in Canadian society, which appears to be the end game.

Last time I checked the hate speech and calls for harm were coming from the Mosques against non Muslims, but most harshly and blatantly directed towards the Jews. Why aren’t we being protected? Can I get a security grant to fortify my house, my Church, Synagogue?
Rebelation, I agree that certainly does sound like an exorbitant price tag we are paying out of our pockets for their security. Is there a detailed accounting to know where that money goes? Don’t we have a right to know just how they are ‘fortifying’.
It will be so politically incorrect to expect transparency (and they know it) that they can get away with anything they want to. Who knows what all that money is going to buy?
Political correctness is going to land us in dire straits very soon. I don’t think much more time needs to pass. Many things are already in place.

As well Mosques are territorial statements.
commented 2017-11-03 11:55:24 -0400
Mosques aren’t like churches, synagogues, or temples where people go to pray and hear sermons. They’re more like military forts where strategies are planned and fatwahs are issued.

Hey Jay, got that raise eh? Good for you. Such a busy little beaver posting such contradictory nonsense again, you’ve earned that raise.

Tammie I’m with you . You go girl . Jay is not the objective view just the Liberal CBC Toronto Star view .
Today prince of England stating to many people in the world and measures should be taken to slow the population through controls yet superman keeps trying to over populate Canada with uncontrolled migrants that out breed us . All for the sake of getting elected again . What superman doesn’t realise is that once there is a big enough migrant voter base he will be out . So will Canada

Well, I’m not surprised to read this article. The Clown Prince of the Muslims, Justin Mohammed Trudeaup shows his true colors again. Giving yet more money to the Muzzie terrorists.

There must be a way to remove this Lieberal parasite from office given what he’s been doing and not doing to the hard working taxpayers of Canada.

Hey Tammie Putnisky-Zanderbuilt, your comments are ignorant. You suppose that The Rebel is an outlet for bigots and racists. Get real. This is Canada.

If people come on this site and read the articles they are free to comment on them. In fact, The Rebel is one of the most free sites for comments in the whole country.

Wake up, Tammie! Get a clue about The Rebel!

Wrong again Jay Kelly, Rebel readers sneer at you for bigoted posts & intentional “misunderstanding” of reports.
Trolls who post like you do are sad, pathetic little beings!
commented 2017-11-03 06:22:56 -0400
Christopher Wilson is a lively addition to The Rebel.

He has to work out, though, the relationship between “we Canadians” and those stinking Muslims and Jews. In his story he implies that Jews are not included in those foreign hoards who are destroying our society.

Most Canadians do not make a clear distinction between Jews and Muslims from the middle east. They are foreigners and Semites. Readers of The Rebel, in part because they are less educated than the general population and in part because they are inclined toward bigotry, are more likely to include Jews and Muslims in the same batch of despicable foreigners.

The Rebel prides itself on its Jewish roots and its distinction from bigoted groups in the United States. Truth is, most of Christopher Wilson’s readers will sneer at Jews and Muslims equally.

I may be wrong, but I have not heard of any other religion getting grants for security systems be they Jewish, Christian, Buddhist or any religion that respects people.

Karan Singh… Well Put!… The scariest part for this well aged Canadian citizen, is that the battle is so open in our midst, without being fought by the government that is constitutionally “sworn” to protect us… That, is the definition of TREASON

Since when the hell does it cost 53mm for a few security cameras and system??? $5,300 is enough! This stinks to high heaven. Understand, when they say “security”, what they mean is – keeping a lookout for RCMP whilst plying their dirty deeds and hate preaching. These guys are up to something big, and Trudeau is assisting them with it!!

See if you can find out what they spend the money on Chris. Demand a look at their books. They may not be obligated, but if they’re clean, they shouldn’t mind at all. Their reaction to such questions may tell us whether there’s more to pursue or not.

That should read, trudope and his libtards, but let us not forget, allready, the $650 million taxpayer bucks they gave for global slaughter of God’s Unborn Children. Oh, lots of bank borrowing for that slap in the face against our Lord Jesus, but realize this, the USA had to suffer 8 years of obamanation, to get His people fired up. I’m damn angry, but, don’t think I can take it that much longer, as I was pissed with pierre in 67, being only 17 at the time, and my understanding then, of course, was on the low side.

I wonder what other proof the trolls need to figure out that Justin is selling us out?
At least Imam Salad Bar got some jail time, his sentence probably will get cut down to 3.5 minutes if Justin has his way.
commented 2017-11-02 22:35:20 -0400
That is insane. INSANE!
‘When the revolution begins…’ those Mosques will be fortified barracks. You think they are not ready? There is at least one in every neighbourhood across the country.
Our tax dollars at work…AGAINST US. I hate to say this but I think it may already be too late to stop the train wreck. If we are lucky we will have something to clean up and put back together afterward.

That Imam basically declared war on Jews, and openly admitted that they ’won’t be shy ’ about sending money ,weapons and anything else to support Hamas run Palestinian terrorists. Where is my country? Why have our politicians forsaken us? Why are these people allowed to bring and act out their warring ways here?
commented 2017-11-02 22:03:03 -0400
That money did not belong to Trudeau’s Liberals, it was money extorted from the Canadian Taxpayer. We are paying for potential Terror Attacks.

What a nice person you are, Justin. Unlike Your reproductive organ, may your Hell be long.

Trudeau is very adept at dividing our country by race/region/religion. He stokes the division every time he plays favorites towards an undeserving group like this. Justin is the most racist and intolerant PM this country has ever had.
