Victor LaszloRebel Commentator

A man identified as “Hafiz Kazi” loaded his car with propane and gasoline and rammed the gates of Travis airbase today in California.

From the Daily Mail:

A motorist's vehicle burst into flames after it “gained unauthorized access” to the main gate of a Northern California Air Force base. The incident is being considered an act of terror.

Travis Air Force Base officials and the FBI said they are investigating the Wednesday night event in which the motorist died after crashing the vehicle at the military installation.

The vehicle was loaded with propane tanks as it ran through the main gate of the base. CBS News reports that the incident is being considered an act of terror.

KCRA reports the identity of the man:

Officials have identified the man who drove through the main gate of Travis Air Force Base and died in a fiery crash.

Hafiz Kazi, 51, was found dead Wednesday night inside of the vehicle after it crashed on the base, the FBI said Friday.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. The FBI said officials at the main gate saw a vehicle coming toward the gate and flames inside. The vehicle then went through the gate and crashed.

Tammie that would make a damn fine meme video, cutting in the old SCTV shots with terrorists blowing up would be quite entertaining.

Good thinking, Ron. Kind of like the handguns of the BBQ world. You can never be too careful.

Al Peterson—Perhaps ban BBQ Lighters also, as some hold 1 once of lighter fluid, great for multiple arsons.

MIKE KRCHNAK, I think I can speak for Ron as well in saying that this is no laughing matter. If it would save even one life it would be worth it. Surely if our betters want to end the remote possibility that a handgun owner will use his Authorization to Transport to hold up a bank on the way to a gunsmith then this, too, has to be taken seriously. Again, this is no laughing matter. You can’t be too careful.

Call or write your MP today and demand action on BBQ tanks. They should, at a minimum, be required to be removed from the barby and stored in a separate locked building. And we need to have size restrictions. No one needs a tank that no holds 20 lbs. 5 lbs is plenty for any reasonable person.

Anyone caught using a 20 lb tank should receive 5 years in jail and forfeit the BBQ to the Crown for destruction. Maybe its high time we have a classification system for BBQ’s especially the larger ones since they are making huge contribution to to climate change. We can have non-restricted, restricted and prohibited. Of course anyone who currently owns a prohibited BBQ could have it grandfathered in if they have the proper licenses and permits. But once they shuffle off their mortal coil ? Off to the Crown’s shredder with it.

The restricted and prohibited varieties would only be allowed to be used on a government approved BBQ range with the requisite ATT. It doesn’t matter if you have 10,000 acres the danger for wrong doing by the criminal nature of BBQ owners is just too great. We all know that BBQ owners are really psychopaths just waiting for the opportunity to blow someone sky high. One of them might suddenly snap and attack the local airforce base. It happened in the US just the other day. Without the kind of minor regulations and minor inconvenience I am proposing what is to stop it from happening in Canada?

In today’s world does anyone really even need a a BBQ? We aren’t cave men cooking over a fire anymore. We need to move into the 21st century. Thats why we have hydro.

Its ok Al, as long as those small town women are protected from the unpredictable Pipeline workers.

Oh, Ron, I forgot about gender issues and intersectionality. Wow. Who knew that being a government meddle worker could be so wide-ranging?

Ron Joseph, sorry for the oversight. It is so hard to create ineffective bureaucratic nightmare. But give me time.

Must be another one of those White Christian terrorists who the left wingers always claim to be the only ones who commit such acts in North America.

Al Peterson—Also under Climate Barbie new rules the Pipeline Company is responsible for the end users, so the said Company should have checked out what kind of person Hafiz Kazi was. The Pipeline Companies should have a list of all possible terrorists.

Time to have tighter background checks on propane buyers going back to the day of their birth. All propane tanks should be registered. All propane buyers must be subject to inspections of their homes. All propane users must take a safety course and pass an exam. They must all be licensed at the low low cost of $85 and the permit is only good for 5 years. An ATT must be applied for before propane tanks can be transported. Demand action now!
