The one thing about “Trump-as-Nazi” jokes that comedians don’t get

David MenziesMission Specialist

There seems to be no end of famous progressives who don’t hesitate to compare President Trump to Hitler
but one thing they don’t ever do is provide any tangible evidence to make their case.

We had now disgraced comedienne Kathy Griffin, who doesn’t appear to have learned from her mistakes, Hollywood relic, Lily Tomlin, and Sarah Silverman who dressed up as Hitler to do her Trump rant.

Regrettably, the Trump-as-Nazi comparisons are so prevalent that last year GossipCop.com actually catalogued several instances which included Louis C.K. who’s usually quite funny.

He was very unfunny in one interview though when he noted that Trump:

“...is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the ’30s. Do you think they saw the shit coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb-over who would say anything at all.

But the very fact that these so-called comedians can make Hitler jokes about Trump actually proves that Donald Trump is no Adolf Hitler, and they know it.

A Rebel Fan i know, i just like using Jays own crap against him.

Drew Wakariuk, there is no proof of Trump’s hate for Jews. His daughter is a Jewess.

Jay Kelly you asked for proof of honor killings , now show me proof of Trumps hate for Jews. IDIOT!
commented 2017-10-30 10:56:06 -0400
Jay, since you have only the shakiest grasp on history, you need to know that Hitler was not elected into office he was appointed as Chancellor by Hindenburg. Hitler and his party never had a majority. With Enabling Act powers provided by other politicians he was able to limit freedoms.

Here is a link to the Wikipedia file on his rise to power. Please read it so as not to embarrass yourself any further with fallacious comparisons to Trump.

So, Jay, would you care to show how Trump is “extraordinarily dangerous to public security”? Does he have a habit of firing machine guns on crowded streets, perhaps?

You state that Hitler was democratically elected. Are you suggesting that Donald Trump wasn’t ? If not, why did you word it this way? Your sophistry knows no bounds.

Poor Jay Kelly, there is an excellent book written by Dinesh D’Souza which exposes the Nazi roots of the American Left. The book is titled The Big Lie.
Try not to “misunderstand” this history too.

Kathy Griffin needs to ask herself 2 questions. 1. Does anyone really care what I think of the President? 2. Are people laughing WITH me or AT me by now?
commented 2017-10-30 03:28:20 -0400
Jay Kelly… I realized some time ago that you are more of “wish it were so” person rather than a “reality is” person… In other words, you believe in wishful fantasies… Donald Trump has been in office just nine months and 10 days… I’m going to save this latest little fantasy of yours and shove it under your nose when January 20th, 2018 rolls around…

The Rebel focusses on the comparison of Donald Trump to Adolph Hitler. True, the two men showed disdain for Jews and other minorities, and true that they were extraordinarily dangerous to public security.

But beyond that they were very different. Donald Trump was a laughing stock from the beginning. Hitler had the genuine support of his people and was democratically elected. It took years to defeat Hitler, at the cost of many thousands of lives. It is taking only a few months to bring down Trump.

Kathy Griffin should take an early retirement from comedy, as should a few more. When people are more interested in their own political views than in comedy, they don’t make good comedians.

…a chronological adult…

Almost missed that, Tammy. A great one.

Right on , Bill Elder. You nailed it. I found that our local Green Weenie candidate was a very nice guy who was a total control of other people’s lives freak. I told him so. All lefties are control of other people’s lives freaks. A great and succinct summary of reality. Thanks.

If you don’t have time for this pattern, just use ridicule and humour. Don’t be surprised if the person allows their emotions to take over, and, behold the sight of a chronological adult having a tantrum!

Tammy you are right on as well. During the last election our Green Weenie candidate came across as so NICE and compassionate. Everyone thought he was such a great guy. The reason was they never probed below the surface and words of the issues. When I did and pointed out his hypocrisy and true self his demeanour shifted 180 degrees. Sort of reminded me of Large Marge in the goofy Pee Wee Herman movie years ago:

William Elder, great commentary and very astute observation.

If a Conservative doesn’t like guns, he doesn’t buy one.

If a Liberal doesn’t like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.

If a Conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.

If a Liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.

If a Conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.

If a Liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.

If a Conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to utilize the resources he has to better his situation.

If a Liberal is down-and-out he admonishes government for not taking care of him.

If a Conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels.

A Liberal demands that those they don’t like be shut down.

If a Conservative is a non-believer, he doesn’t go to church.

A Liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides a goof med plan.

If a Liberal decides he needs health care, he demands that the rest of us pay for his.

If a Conservative reads this, he’ll forward it so his friends can have a good laugh.

A Liberal will delete it and have the author “banned” from social media because he can’t cope with the truth of it.

Do you see a pattern of inherent abnormal personality flaws tied to “Liberal?” totalist politics? Political correctness (AKA Marxist speech code totalism) is killing comedy because comedy is the ability to laugh at our foibles – cultural Marxists presume to have no foibles – they are perfection of thought and deed, this their “political correctness” – they cannot be shown to have “foibles” or be laughed at – zis is verbotten!.

These leftist clowns all love trying to brand their political opponents as “Nazis” and/or “Fascists”. Ironically, what they either don’t know or won’t acknowledge is that both Nazism and Fascism are tightly linked to the progressive left. Dinesh D’Souza has made this crystal clear in his fascinating new book “The Big Lie”. It is highly recommended reading, worth every penny. The left will HATE it:

Dan: Trouble is that one side are quite active while the other side are just spectators (until it’s too late).
commented 2017-10-29 13:25:49 -0400
In spite of all the nasty, evil things the left is doing to screw up the world, one thing is clear and appropriate; the people are choosing one side or the other. I see this as a good thing as we will all know who is who…and what they stand for.
Which side are you on:
The good side or the bad side.
The right side or the wrong side.
The correct side or the politically correct side.
The right side or the left side.
The light side or the dark side.
Humanity’s side or the side of death and destruction.
God’s side or Satan’s side.

One thing this tells me , she isn’t making the bashing rounds in a America because the majority of the people have grown tired of her , so she’s traveling to more socialist venue countries, watch for her to do the rounds on the Canadian LUGENPRESSERS circuit

yeah Hitler Nazi Fascist Racist and all the other leftist words need to label people are wearing thin and have lost their meaning on these SJW.
commented 2017-10-29 12:45:16 -0400
Oh, Kathy Griffin’s appearance is scary, she borders on looking like Chuckie with a buzz cut.
commented 2017-10-29 12:43:30 -0400
Very often, progressives arm themselves with statements/declarations without providing facts or evidence, this is how they roll! Ask them for evidence or source materials, they hurl a label at you that ends in “ist” “ism” or “phobic”. Then ask them to explain the rational behind the label, and, they eventually call you Hitler too.
Debate is out of the question, as, they cannot stay on point; rather, they start jumping all over the map & making wild assumptions. So, when after all the name calling doesn’t work to silence you , their strategy is then to then introduce Straw Man arguments.
If you don’t have time for this pattern, just use ridicule and humour. Don’t be surprised if the person allows their emotions to take over, and, behold the sight of a chronological adult having a tantrum! Calmly suggest to the person he/she should take some time to pull themselves together, perhaps a safe space is within walking distance!

When does immature, illiterate, unprofessional, person-specific, so-called “humour” become illicit slander by those presenting it and by those promoting and broadcasting it?
