The Gunn Show: When Greenpeace & government bullied this little climate change group, who won?

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

Welcome! Tonight is the debut of The Gunn Show, and I couldn’t be more excited.

It’s my job to bring you the other side of the story, and on my show, I get to do that in more depth than just a short video. Each week I’ll speak to newsmakers that the mainstream media just won't talk to.

Tonight I bring you a very scary story.

Imagine your political enemies trying to use a government law enforcement agency to correct you of wrong-think.

Now imagine that government law enforcement agency actually taking your political enemies criticisms of you seriously and investigating you as though you had committed a crime.

Sounds crazy, right? But that's exactly what happened to the Friends of Science Society — for two full years!

Tonight, Michelle Sterling, the communication manager for Friends of Science, joins me to share their story of modern day McCarthyism at the hands of the Big Green.

Poor Moose!
I understand why you would distance yourself from Jay Kelly!
commented 2017-10-07 04:12:29 -0400
Nope, I don’t have any relatives on this site.

Strangely, they prefer to listen to the Andrew Lawton show. Too bad he does not work here any more.

Good show, Sheila!

Space Moose, spoken like a true Manitoban. Tighter than the bark on a tree.
commented 2017-10-06 19:18:56 -0400
Hey Moose, on this particular thread, you sound like Jay Kelly. Is he your cousin?
commented 2017-10-06 18:52:30 -0400
Wow Moose, I can see you are purposefully missing the point. Gripe to yourself (type all you like) instead of using this site to complain about your cheap nature, and, how more freebies from Rebel would suit you.
commented 2017-10-06 17:27:07 -0400
Why yes it is true that I don’t text. I don’t see the point of sending myself an e mail.
commented 2017-10-06 13:10:14 -0400
My grandfather once told me, amongst other wise things if I may say, that it is our duty to support a free press. Buy it, even if you don’t read it!

I never bothered to figure out how to send texts.

If that’s true Moose, option 2, send yourself an e-mail instead. Option 3 – use pen and paper. The point is to spare us concerning your miserly ways; “the old oh woe is me, there should be more free stuff on Rebel”

I never bothered to figure out how to send texts.

Hey Moose, think of it this way, whenever you want to post something to confirm your “cheapness” or complain you are not getting enough freebies; send yourself a text! Doing this will spare all Rebels of having to hear about your “issues”!
commented 2017-10-05 21:23:39 -0400
Of course you are!
By the way, you missed an excellent interview with Michelle Sterling, very factual & she outlined how eco-fascists (my term) were aided by the government to unjustly launch a criminal investigation. Your miserly choices are your own; stop complaining already!
commented 2017-10-05 21:18:49 -0400
I am fine with you calling me cheap.
commented 2017-10-05 20:46:29 -0400
Good job Shiela!
Put some graphics on the black sheet behind you. Good logo!

To quote Ezra, “Yeah, no.”

As for myself, did you take some university course to learn how to be such an asshole, or does it come natural to you?
commented 2017-10-05 19:47:04 -0400
Space Moose, conflate all you want…I don’t buy it!
“Keep it on the CHEAP” seems to be your motto, don’t complain when others call you it on it.
commented 2017-10-05 19:36:36 -0400
Why yes, I had seriously contemplated giving to the rebel. But it seems like whenever I start to feel generous, I am given a reason to change my mind.

There is nothing inherently immoral about being cheap. It is not like I am going out of my way to hurt anybody.

Look at how often we are reminded that the CBC gets lots of money through taxes. Do you want to have less money in your wallet from donating to the rebel on top of forking over money for the CBC?

In case you haven’t noticed, the internet is full of free stuff. What makes the rebel different from everybody else, to the extent that the rebel feels entitled to donations, petition signatures, and a subscription?

And has the rebel delivered on their promises? Where is that documentary? Where is that app? Instead, we see the rebels with their own shows leaving the rebel. Did you pay to lose out on those shows?

As for why I am here, well, there are some things I agree with, and some things I don’t agree with. I hope everybody is able to see when the rebel is right or wrong.

Space Moose is just another variation of the regular troll. Study the style and you will see what I mean. This persona always crops up after a previous persona is called out.

However, the persona’s shift while retaining the same theme. An acquaintance familiar with this sort of stuff thinks it is a university “class”. I tend to agree considering the cycles.
commented 2017-10-05 19:18:38 -0400
Space Moose, your habit is to complain about the paywall, crowdfunding etc… My advice to you is to break the habit. Should you decide to examine this personality trait of yours, do it with absolute honesty and look at where this “cheapness” holds you back in other areas of your life. In all seriousness, this undoubtedly affects your personal relationships.
commented 2017-10-05 18:57:14 -0400
Space Moose, I doubt there was a time you considered giving money to the Rebel, look at your complaining post last night, your free ride mentality since Tiffany Gabbay reported for the Rebel.
I think your post below is pure shite; as your self proclaimed state of cheapness wouldn’t allow you to give money at all.
Do everyone a favour and stop complaining you aren’t getting enough free stuff from the Rebel. Don’t like it? Why do you keep coming back?
commented 2017-10-05 18:25:27 -0400
Well, there was a time that I was tempted to give money to the rebel. But now I am considering giving that money to either Lauren Southern or Caolan Robertson. Decisions, decisions.

Great show Sheila!
Thank you for introducing me to Friends of Science; I just subscribed to them.
Looking forward to all your shows.

Space Moose, stop complaining like a baby…be patient grasshopper, 3-5 minute reports will be uploaded the next day, the freebie you seem to hold so dear. In the meantime, remember, you are missing much of the report and you are too cheap to do anything about it. So, complain to the mirror, and don’t get annoyed when your limited knowledge on what was presented gives you problems when you post something that other commentors question you about.
Your question is disingenuous, so, give your head a shake. Hey, dust of your wallet once in a while! Have you ever seen a Brinks armoured truck follow a hearse to the cemetery?!
commented 2017-10-05 17:51:32 -0400
Why yes, there is a lot of free stuff out on the internet. But if that is the case, then why should I pay the rebel for a subscription?

Fantastic debut Sheila. Nice work exposing green piece et al as the callous lawfare puppets of the lefty agenda that they are. Keep up the great work!

Here’s something to cheer everyone up; the life of everything, including the existing environment, is finite because of the sun largely. https://www.universetoday.com/25367/how-long-will-life-survive-on-earth/ You look sooo beautiful Sheila Gunn Reid, the content is flowing, your feed is great, the sound is great, the lighting, the editing, the graphics, the logo, the name. You can’t lose. Except you need a Gunn Show logo backdrop.

Thank you Sheila, and Friends of Science!!

Well done Sheila, you will be a thorn in the side of our destructive ndp and liberal governments. The only thing a bully understands is push back. They can’t go at us or their agenda full bore if there is ample resistance on our side, we can and will fetter them.

Have to add to last night’s comment. I very much appreciate how Ms. G-R asks a question and then lets the guest answer at length without interruption. This style of interview is very rare now throughout media, left or right.

Also, purchased my membership to Friends of Science.
