The Rebel Live is coming to Calgary on November 10 — Get tickets now!

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Hey, we don’t just do great videos at the Rebel. We do great events with our most loyal viewers, too! We’ve had movie premieres, and educational trips to foreign countries, and we’ve even had a few rallies against the carbon tax, before it was cool.

But my favourite event each year is definitely what we call The Rebel Live.

It’s a day-long conference for true conservatives — not the timid, CBC-approved variety. Real conservatives, talking about things that matter.

We had Jordan Peterson even before his book took off. We had Doug Ford even before he was premier of Ontario. And of course we’ve brought you fascinating conservatives from around the world — like our own Katie Hopkins from the UK.

We’ll, we’re doing it again, and this time we’re doing it in the heart of conservatives country — my spiritual home, Calgary! On Saturday, November 10, we’ve got an amazing day planned. GET YOUR TICKETS HERE!

You want great speakers? We’ve got ‘em:

* Free speech activist Lindsay Shepherd, who fought the censors at Laurier University and won.

* Canada’s most successful conservative public interest lawyer, John Carpay, who sues governments who step on our rights.

* Robbie Picard, the unstoppable oilsands activist.

* Our own fearless and outspoken Alberta Bureau Chief Sheila Gunn Reid — and so many more!

We’ve invited Andrew Scheer to attend; we haven’t heard back from him yet, but other MPs will be there, including Brad Trost and Maxime Bernier, who just launched a new party.

So come join us in Calgary, on November 10 — but you’d better hurry!

Our early-bird pricing ends this Friday, October 20. Until that moment, it’s just $75 — afterwards, it goes up to $95 dollars.

(By the way, we’ve got great student prices too.)

Did I mention we’ve got an amazing barbecue food truck coming for lunch — included in the price

But get your tickets now! Go to and take advantage of that early-bird pricing.

correction sorry:
Answer to question #2. should read:
“My strategy for my campaign is very open. We don’t want to work for special interest groups, [whether] it be corporate welfare, Bombardier, or GM. Our platform is based on fairness.”
(below, I somehow cut the most important part of his answer. The part about special interest groups getting no special considerations.)

You do remember your meltdown. If not, scroll down near the beginning.

Keep in mind that the interview with the Muslim vote group was sometime before May last year. At that time he said, " The immigration policy – what’s happening in Europe – I’m looking at that. I don’t think it will have a big impact in Canada because, as you know, we’re very successful with our immigration policy."
However he laid out a lot of details in that interview some of which were happening in Harper’s time that the Liberals dropped. So when he talks about a successful immigration policy its not Justin’s.

Recently and more than once he has said that regarding what is going on in Europe, he doesn’t want it to happen here, and he wants Canada to still be Canada in the future. He wants to reduce immigration numbers back to Harper’s numbers and civilized timeline.

As far as Omar Subedar is concerned I don’t do facebook so can’t check any context, maybe NDP SUCKS could paste something to give us an idea. Since Bernier is running on not pandering to special interest groups including corporate ones I’d be surprised if Subedar thinks he is going to get any special treatment. Scheer on the other hand has announced that special treatment is what he does best, unfortunately.

“Who says Max isn’t talking to the muslims?”
… Thanks for bringing that up NDP SUCKS, its a good interview and highlights Bernier’s integrity very well.

Interview series hosted by an outfit, calling themselves the Canadian Muslim Vote. Good interview done last year before the leadership race.

“Over the past few weeks, The Canadian-Muslim Vote has been sitting down with a few of the 14 candidates contesting for the leadership of the Conservative Party.”

“We have been profiling these candidates so that you (our readers) can make an informed voting decision on May 27, 2017.”
Question #2. answer in part
“Why do you feel you’re qualified to lead the conservative party of Canada? Why should I vote for you over the other candidates seeking the nomination?”

“My strategy for my campaign is very open. , [whether] it be corporate welfare, Bombardier, or GM. Our platform is based on fairness.”
When asked in a recent interview about not pandering to special interest groups, he said he was invited by the Muslim vote group, and they wanted to know what he would do for Muslims, and he answered “absolutely nothing”, because “We don’t want to work for special interest groups”,
It is a good interview and a fair interview and he was asked some very direct questions. I recommend everyone read it. If anyone thought Bernier wouldn’t go to hear them out and be heard, they don’t know anything about the man. He will talk to everyone. I don’t know if he got their vote or not, but he definitely isn’t about to be “bought” by any group, especially the 16,000 dairy farmers who pay large for Scheer’s support. Bernier doesn’t do pay for play. I wish Scheer wouldn’t do it either, it makes the rest of us feel like chopped liver.

Omar Subedar seems to be a fan of Max as he posted a photo of Max on his facebook page on 31 August. Omar just happens to be the Chief Operating Officer of HMACanada which is Halal Monitoring Authority. Omar lives in Brampton and is now fondly called Bramladesh for those who know the area well.

I don’t speak directly or communicate in any way directly with hypocritical traitors.

Come to the event on Sat. in Calgary and ask him to his face in front of hundreds of people.

I don’t want to hear any garbage coming out of Elections Canada. I want to hear Bernier himself address the issue of who his Liberal donors are and how much did they pay to purchase him. Very straight forward. Time for Mad Max to man up.

Hypocrite Bernier doesn’t like corporate welfare. He seemed to like it just fine when Harper had a majority government. As a matter of fact Bernier liked it 29 times.

Bernier was part of Harper’s cabinet during the majority government. Why didn’t we hear some squawking back then about his opposition to the dairy cartel?

It is a wait and see thing for sure, but Bernier says he will have candidates in all the ridings by Dec 10, which he says is the elections Canada deadline. He needs 338 ridings, he has 110 district associations so far, and insists he will do it in time. If he can meet the elections Canada deadlines, then the race will be on and we will see if he is a horse worth betting the farm on. I wish Scheer hadn’t shot himself in the foot with so many conservatives. Its going to make it really hard to vote for him if it looks like Bernier can’t pull it off, ( or at least effect some change and bring in some new blood). I’m afraid in that case, that we might see some people staying home. Right now its a crap shoot for sure.

NDP SUCKS, go ask Bernier. Contact elections Canada and have them explain it to you.

Liza asked, “…what is he going to do or not do specifically, that will be any different from Justin?”

Yes, you have a valid point. Probably not much different, except he will not be such a fool on the world stage. I doubt he will embarrass Canada as much as Trudeau does. That is a least one big step forward. Canada won’t be such a laughing stock.

" Some think Bernier has hidden agenda …"

I don’t. I like Bernier’s politics. I am just convinced that he will not be ready for October 2019 and as a result will do more harm than good at this time.

He needs to have a candidate running in all ridings and have had time to campaign across the country. That may be the case in 5 years.

I so desperately do not want Trudeau in office again for another embarrassing and destructive 4 years.

Only the CPC have any chance of ousting the Liberals.

Thanks Liza!… Insightful as always…

But the people who think Scheer is infinitely better, are dwindling. Who’s fault is that? Besides, while I can understand your logic of voting for Scheer to keep Justin out, what is he going to do or not do specifically, that will be any different from Justin? Has he said? What has he said, and what’s it worth, he says a lot of things. Maybe a politician with a hidden agenda doesn’t exist, like the Unicorn, but there are two politicians who have proven (to me) that they have hidden agenda. Some think Bernier has hidden agenda, but there is no proof of any substance to date. If Scheer gets in with Justin as opposition, I will feel no better than if things stay the way they are today. Nothing would surprise me – anything could happen. Besides, regardless of the people’s preference, what are the chances of a fair vote and tally anyway? Canada can’t even have a fair Mayoral election or any fair reporting on it. Hell the Monk Institute can’t even report a fair tally on a debate when the result is not the result they wanted. The tomfoolery is everywhere, from the bottom right up to the top.

On a different note, I’m glad to hear that Kelly Day is going to be speaking/performing(I hope both) on Saturday in Calgary. Maybe she will sing the song she did about Faith. Somehow I doubt it. But she also did a great one for Bernier.

Don’t be surprised when you “dig your feet in” and doggedly vote for Bernier and then get a Liberal government with the airhead as PM again.

I despise Scheer’s lack of backbone, but he is infinitely better than the current airhead PM and his gang of Lieberal thieves.

Andy Neimers- lol.
Relax. I am no one more special than yourself.
Have a good one.

I must have missed something in the past four days when my primary computer went on the “fritz”… Who is Karen MacLeod and why all the ravings???
commented 2018-11-04 20:52:44 -0500
I’m tossing my vote btw.
I’ll be dead before I advocate for Bernier.
But I’d be a coward if I voted for Scheer.
And lastly, a traitor if I didn’t try & stand up to this bs.

Robert Greeley-
You can’t be critical of Scheer’s semantics and not be self critical about Bernier’s.
The song is about trying to make something work with no energy. Or an unforgivable about pride.
Trump, though possibly a rapist of Ivana, attracted (or even in love with) to the harpy Stormy Daniels, married to a useless lawn ornament & did God knows what to Omarosa actions do not impede on his ability to do the right thing and unify Republicans and the USA on the whole.
Who has the nuts to do the same in Canada? Nobody.
Thanks Robert.

Sorry..listened to the song…I don’t get the song or the connection.
commented 2018-11-04 19:19:50 -0500
Semantics Karen…

the language used (as in advertising or political propaganda) to achieve a desired effect on an audience especially through the use of words with novel or dual meanings

Scheer better step up his war path..because it looks fake to me.
commented 2018-11-04 19:13:52 -0500
Robert Greeley- I think you like songs?
I’ve got one.
Imagine “blue eyes” is the CPC.
There is a cardinal sin that happened between the libertarians and the conservatives. Image.
You gotta unite them through their common history. Bernier & Scheer won’t do that.
Embarass them both and come together.
commented 2018-11-04 19:00:47 -0500
Robert Greeley-Ezra Levant stepped up & out against msm.
Bernier got kicked out of a leadership position & left a more decent than not political party over HIS IMAGE.
I want to lay a hammer of truth & justice against those that hurt Canada from within.
I’m on the war path. Scheer is on the war path. Bernier is at war with everybody but himself in my opinion.
It doesn’t take much to pummel the MSM. Just the truth.
Which makes me so upset the right people who can do it, don’t.
You can have the longest leg, but if you just have one of them, you can’t win the race.
The only way to deliver the truth is to be selfless. You’ll never find that where you’re looking.
That’s all I can say about this.
commented 2018-11-04 18:48:29 -0500
Hey..For decades the Federal liberals and the Conservatives have had their chances to do right for the Everyday Canadian..Harper was the best out of all the lot of them.

The liberalist globalists psychotic goofballs along with the msm(cbc) rigged him out of being the PM of Canada..

We have seen year after year the same ole..same ole..NOW! look at where we are!! because of the same old horse shit! shoved down our throats!!

Bernier stepped up and out..maybe he was fed up with the horse shit like many Canadians were.. That’s where I give him credit and a hand shake!
commented 2018-11-04 18:09:25 -0500
Actually Robert Greeley, I did not give you a good answer there.
I absolutely love something about Trump. There’s something awe inspiring about him. There is a strength & intelligence that strikes me like a lightening bolt and it speaks to my core like nothing & no other person can do.
But I know thyself and if Trump has that kind of strength the American people can trust, I will put those policies of his to the test for the greater good. Himself included. Trust me, everybody else will continously put me to the test to make a better follower.
But a follower is not a suck hole looking for power from a weak person in a good position. Its somebody who has earned respect from a great example of a human. There is a mutual trust there. The opposite is a disloyal opportunist. I don’t have that trust with Trump.
He only trusts his family & frankly, even that cannot be the only criteria when leading a nation to greatness.
He has the tasks of Hercules to save the USA. Why should we ask a half ass effort even from a great & incredible man?
He’ll have to earn our love & mine every single day until the task is completed.
Sorry, not sorry.
Sorry Trump <:(
