The trip to Washington, what does it mean? Not much.

Brian LilleyArchive

I break down the state dinner, the trip to Washington and what it all means. Plus the push to get the AR15 deemed a non-restricted rifle in Canada, I talk to MP Bob Zimmer about why this is a good idea.

Also on the show: "What are you wearing?" and why it matters; how a key Trudeau minister is wasting your money and skirting the rules; CBC plays favourites with the Disney Prince Trudeau once again -- and finally, dealing with increasing violence and shootings in one Ottawa neighbourhood.

Actually I think Junior is more reminicent of Louis the XIV…the Sun King.
Junior is the Sunny Ways King.
Wait until he remodels his palace at 24 Sussex.

With respect to AR 15s, Liberals start shaking in fear a the very thought of firearms. Former Liberal Senators are even horrified at the sight of firearms similar to the AR 15 in the hands of security on Parliament Hill.

These trudeaus remind me of Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI.
While Canadians are losing their jobs and homes by the thousands, these spoiled, rich, one percenters are flying around the world and partying at the taxpayers’ expense!
Trudeau wouldn’t even let us eat cake!

Dear Diary;
Last night I had dinner with my BFF, B.O. Say what you want about him, but the man knows his grub, not to mention what a great evening he put on for us.
I’m really pleased with myself that I asked Gerald to decide not to bring MaryAnn along. I mean, this was a pretty classy spread that B.O. put on for us, and if there’s one thing I hate it’s watching any of the dirt people chewing their food with their mouths wide open. I’ll try to remember to ask Gerald to stop hiring cabinet members for me from the local union halls.
B.O. said that he wants to do a meth deal with me. Naturally I said; “sure man, I’m totally down with that action”. Some people looked puzzled, but I think they were just having trouble keeping up with our advanced command of street talk.
I wanted to suck and toady up to him, but at the same time glorify myself, obviously, so I planned on invoking the old “special relationship” bit, then Gerald pointed out that throughout modern history just about every tin-pot, despotic, dictating, fascist, national leader uses that expression when talking about themselves and the United States. Well, I certainly don’t ever want to be defined as a tin-pot, so I wanted to come up with some fresh material. But then I heard one of B.O.’s guys talking about our special relationship, so I thought, what the heck, if there’s a dinner and a joint in it for me, I’ll just go with the flow.

Didn’t you hear Brian? Air Conditioning is sexist. I heard it on the BBC.
