Will you give us the tools, so we can finish the job?

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

UPDATE: We have a new strrrrrrretch goal!

Please donate to help The Rebel buy four camera kits — an HD camera, tripod, lights, and a low-cost iPad teleprompter. Each of these kits costs $5,000 and we will ship them to reporters or commentators anywhere in the world.

I’ve got a big plan that I’ve been working on for a year now, and I’m ready to tell you about it. Because I want to ask you if you agree with my big plan, and if you want to help me do it.

The big plan is to take our channel, TheRebel.media, and turn it into the largest, most influential news media outlet in Canada.

When I say big, I mean big in viewership and readership, a big audience, having a big impact. I want us to become a leading source of news and opinion – to tell people the other side of the story.

The big plan is to do what we’re doing – but double it, and double that again – have as many Canadians getting their political news from us as from anyone else.

Last year, we crowdfunded our studio – a small room in the middle of our office, with sound-absorbing foam, and a green screen onto which the computer projects different backgrounds. That was a big expense for us – $80,000.

But now, we need a bigger office. We’ve paid almost no rent at our current location – but it’s way too small. So, we need a new office. And we need a new studio. And we need new equipment for the studio – a new control panel, new cameras and lights.

We need all of these tools. Each tool is a few thousand dollars – some are a few hundred, the biggest is $30,000. There are 68 tools, 68 things we need to reach our goal. And taken all together, I really think they’re the building blocks of the big plan.

We're so grateful for your support. The Rebel has only gotten this far because of your help, encouragement, and generosity. Thank you once again for helping us grow!

You can also donate by cheque to help complete the big plan.

Please make it payable to "TheRebel" and send it to:

The Rebel
PO Box 73536, Wychwood PO
Toronto, ON M6C 4A7

And don't forget to put "Big Plan" in the memo section!

Thank you for your continued support!

Studio Bricks

Goal: $206,000.00

The 68 items we need cost roughly $206,000. So we need 4,000 people to chip in an average of $51.50 to do it. If you contribute $51.50, we’ll put your name on a brick in our new office. Each brick costs $51.50.

Studio Cornerstones

Goal: $75,000.00

For people who really want to be cornerstones of the big plan, we will have cornerstones – and if you contribute $1,500, your name will go on them. By the way, we’ll have other special perks (like a coupon code for Premium Content) for people who contribute more than $1,000.

Goal: $5,000.00

We’d love to have reporters in a place like Regina, Saskatchewan or Halifax, Nova Scotia. We don’t need to buy them an office — just a camera kit for their home! A camera; tripod; microphone; lights; a green screen and an iPad teleprompter is about $5,000 all in.

Studio Complex

Goal: $25,000.00

This is a special item for one donor only -- who will have naming rights. Please click on other items for smaller donations.

The Staff Room

Goal: $10,000.00

We’re letting someone sponsor the staff room! We’ll have a special lintel, a symbolic stone above the doorway into the room, for $10,000 dollars. And we would name the staff room after you – we’ll say, the “Larson” or "Chan" staff room, or whatever! This is a special item for one donor only -- who will have naming rights. Please click on other items for smaller donations.

The Kitchen

Goal: $10,000.00

I “secretly” purchased two bricks ,didn’t tell my wife . I paid by paypal but then got tripped up when paypal issued a receipt on my email and she read it. Now I’m in the dog house, but it’s for a great cause ! Keep that money rolling in folks and " fight the good fight for truth"

3/5 funded in less then 2 days.
commented 2016-12-02 17:01:05 -0500
Anonymous and Mod Lib are both a couple of tough guys who hide behind the keyboard. Won’t even reply to my questions because both are too scared to try to debate me.
commented 2016-12-02 15:59:43 -0500
Ha , why don’t you put on a bake sale ? Instead of bumming for change offer some sort of product. I’m sure you could bring your cost down by doing some work yourself and suffering with used decent furniture for a year to bring your cost down .
commented 2016-12-02 14:25:18 -0500
I’ll pitch in for a brick that will make 2. But I’m still quite disappointed that I’m still waiting for my producers club wallet card that was promised almost 2 years ago.
commented 2016-12-02 14:08:30 -0500
I guess we can assume that neither Anonymous or Mod Lib are the fella that donated $10,000 to sponsor a studio. Now that’s what I call support! Just watch how fast the funds necessary for this next step will be raised. Nay sayers are afraid of just that.
commented 2016-12-02 14:03:22 -0500
Mod Lib. no problem. If it sucks so much, you know where the door is. Bye now.
If Ezra started doing those lame commercials selling weird products that Alex Jones does I would have to stop watching. Everybody has paid subscribers on the internet Mod. look again.

Don’t make me laugh Anonymous. The Rebel is exactly what the doctor ordered for this country.
You have proof there is a huge market yet you deny it? You are pathetic and clearly nervous.
commented 2016-12-02 13:55:47 -0500
I donated as well. As for you Moderate Libertarian, why are you so angry? Why won’t you answer my question regarding that? Is it because you don’t like to work and are afraid we on the right will finally expose the left for the lazy frauds you all are? Just go get a job already and try to EARN a living. I’ll bet you can’t answer without name calling or smoother childish antic you lefties love to spew.

Oops, go to IFJ.org. For more information.
commented 2016-12-02 13:50:45 -0500
If the rebel hasn’t already joined, I would like to see you join the IFJ. They are banding together to fight against the globalist corporate media attack against so called “fake news”. Globalists are mounting campaigns to jail and silencing journalists, this is coming straight from the EU.

I put a little in the pot last evening. Looking forward to the new and expanded Rebel.
commented 2016-12-02 03:55:27 -0500
The Canadian market is not big enough to support the rebel. I think Ezra would be better off expanding in Europe. There are more people there, and what seems like a bigger demand for right wing news.
commented 2016-12-02 00:27:45 -0500
Wish I had more, but every little bit counts!!

The Big Plan is an answer to a prayer. Thank you Ezra.

CBC eat your heart out.

System appeared to hang when i attempted a donation not using Paypal. ????
commented 2016-12-01 20:22:29 -0500
Fixed income, don’t have a lot but subscribe yearly and just donated a bit for new cameras. I’m not a member of the producers club – I would have been – but I’m here in Canada’s ‘flyover’ country and none of the promised events were going to be held here in Manitoba. If that changes, we’ll see. In the meantime, all the best with this new campaign.

Billy’s idea of a daily program roundup/tease is a good one. I like how you guys are aiming high – go for it! I almost (almost) wish I lived nearer to Tranna so I could participate directly.
commented 2016-12-01 19:52:51 -0500
I would donate again, but I never get any response to questions I email to the rebel. Does anyone work in the office? Apparently not!
commented 2016-12-01 18:21:56 -0500
I’m in for two bricks, chq is in the mail. Congratulations on your success to-date, and Good Luck on your plans Ezra!!
commented 2016-12-01 17:45:19 -0500
I’m a member of the Producer’s Club, and I would like you to think about selling privately traded shares. I suggest a maximum 1% individual ownership so that there is limited influence on editorial content (don’t want the Saudis or Soros to buy it all up). Your political/social direction has proven to be engaging with the vast conservative, even centrist public (investor) in mind. Need money for expansion: release more shares. Hopefully ads, video clicks, membership, Rebel Store, and other revenue will take care of day-to-day costs of payroll and overhead.
One other suggestion: A daily program/roundup on the day’s important news. This would feature reporters’ content, assorted snippets from current Rebel videos, occasional content from InfoWars and other media outlets including popular online opinion bloggers. It can also include sporadic pieces from MSM when appropriate. There are times when busy people like myself just don’t have time to view several Rebel videos on subjects of interest.

Just made a donation. You’ve got my support all the way! Go, rebel, go!!
commented 2016-12-01 16:14:42 -0500
You already have my monthly donation. If I had more I’d be willing to invest but there should be ownership.
