Theo Caldwell is an international investor, writer, news anchor and commentator. As a financial professional in the United States and Canada for two decades, he has been a member of the New York Stock Exchange, the Chicago Board Options Exchange, The American Stock Exchange and the Kansas City Board of Trade.
A ubiquitous opinion-maker on television and radio, Theo is a Host on Newstalk1010 in Toronto. He has contributed to numerous outlets worldwide, including CTV, CBC, BBC, Fox News, RTE Ireland, and others. His columns have appeared in the National Post, Sun Media, the Daily Caller, the Washington Times, The Hill and publications across North America.
Born in Toronto, Theo is a citizen of Ireland, Canada and the United States. Theo’s first novel, Finn the half-Great, debuted as the #1 Teen Literature book in Canada and the feature film version is in development with Theo’s friend and business partner, Cheryl Hines, star of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
As a journalist, Theo has interviewed and argued with major figures in government, business, sport, science, and the arts. These include prime ministers, premiers, presidents, senators, governors, captains of industry, media stars, Middle East scholars, and world-beating athletes.
Having been an award-winning debator in his student days, Theo served as the McLeese Chair in Debating, in which capacity he worked with students across Canada to help them develop elocution abilities and embrace the art of argument.
