How did liberals – the so-called champions of free speech -- become so intolerant? And why are some conservatives imitating them, and trying to be censors themselves?
The intolerance and censorship we’re witnessing right now on campuses, on the web and beyond has been 100 years in the making.
I’ll explain the history of so-called “Critical Theory” and “Cultural Marxism”: Who founded these movements, and how they slowly took over universities, then the rest of society.
My first guest is Gad Saad, the outspoken Professor of Marketing and Research Chair in Evolutionary Behavioral Sciences and Darwinian Consumption at Concordia University in Montreal.
(He gives all his students a “trigger warning"!)
Saad will explain what “social justice warriors” really want, and how we can restore some sanity.
Then syndicated columnist and author Diana West joins me to discuss a lesser-known phenomenon:
That of professional conservatives slandering Donald Trump and his supporters in outrageous ways. They sometimes even sound just like... angry progressives.
I don’t endorse Trump or any current GOP candidates, but this uncivil behaviour is wrong, no matter who does it. It could also have disastrous consequences in the November election.
Thanks for watching my very first show! Please tell me what you think in the comments...
