I’ve had a blast making videos for The Rebel this past year, but now I’ve decided to go independent. Thank you for being such a strong supporter of my work — and thanks to The Rebel for giving me the opportunity.
We’ve made more than 130 videos, plus dozens more for the Tommy Robinson Show. They’ve been watched tens of millions of times. We’ve told the stories that the mainstream media didn’t want told.
And we didn’t just talk — we took action.
Whether it was fighting to try to get justice for Chelsey Wright, or standing up for John Fletcher the shopkeeper, or crowdfunding a new all-terrain wheelchair for Gareth Knox the navy veteran, we’ve really made a difference.
And I couldn’t have done it without you, by joining our campaigns, by signing our petitions and contributing to our crowdfunding. There are so many things we’ve done, like getting a proper navy pension for Chief Chris Eade, or helping Rachel Booth, the dinner lady who was suspended from her job just for marching against terrorism.
There are too many to list them all — but you are the reason it was possible. You can see all of my Rebel videos in one place HERE.
I’ve learned a lot about the power of alternative media at The Rebel. Not only to break the silence of the mainstream media on important issues like the threat of jihadist terrorism, but to get political change happening too.
And that’s what I’m going to do on my own.
I’m leaving The Rebel amicably — I’m grateful to them for their support this past year. I’m still going to do a few more videos for them, to finish up some of the campaigns we’re still working on, including for Nikki Hurst, the young woman from Batley who was beaten by a group of Muslim men last fall.
After that, I’m going to do campaigns full time, on my own. You’ll be able to see those videos on my Facebook page, which you can find here if you’re not already a follower.
The Rebel has offered to let me have the studio we crowdfunded, and I might use it from time to time, but I think I’ll mainly be reporting from the streets — that’s where the real stories are.
If you want to follow my new adventures, please visit TommyRobinson.online.
And please keep following The Rebel, too — they’re friends of mine, and they helped me unleash my inner journalist!
Thanks to you, my supporters, for a great year — and thanks to The Rebel for a great opportunity. And good luck to all of us in 2018.
