1. Merkel confirms why UN migration pact is binding under questioning from AfD MB Martin Hebner
For months proponents of the UN Migration Pact told us that the pact was non-binding. The response to the many citizens of nation states worldwide having signed country specific petitions was that it was non-binding so there was nothing to worry about, it was going to be good.
The immensely opposed and disastrous document declares unlimited migration to be treated as a human right, thereby deprecating the term ‘illegal migrants’, and criminalises any criticism of migration as hate speech.

Pro-Leave demonstrators donning yellow vests took over three bridges in central London today as they demanded Britain's exit from the EU.
Campaigners chanting “Brexit now” stopped cars from crossing Westminster Bridge, Tower Bridge and then Waterloo Bridge as Theresa May held crunch talks with EU leaders in Brussels.
About 60 people wearing yellow vests similar to those worn during protests in France gathered by the Houses of Parliament at noon to first occupy Westminster Bridge.
The protestors were eventually moved on by police after about 15 minutes before heading to Downing Street, where they chanted pro-Brexit songs before moving on to Tower Bridge.
While blocking the iconic bridge for about 20 minutes, campaigners were seen angrily remonstrating with motorists and bystanders.

5. Terror motive considered in Finland “foreign men” bus attacks
Police in Finland say they are not ruling out a potential terrorist motivation after two “foreign” men attacked bus drivers while on the road, in one case nearly causing a head-on collision.
The two incidents, on a bus from Helsinki to the city of Oulu and another on a bus from Loimaa to Turku, occurred last week and saw passengers described as being “foreign” get up from their seats and attack the drivers, Yle reports.
The first incident saw a man attempt to grab the steering wheel of the bus that was travelling to Turku and drive it into the opposite lane. According to Petri Valtanen, the CEO of the bus company, it nearly hit an oncoming bus but the driver of the other bus was able to get out of the way, leading to only minor damage to both vehicles.

7. Nigeria military bans UNICEF, claiming it trains Boko Haram “spies”
Nigeria’s military on Friday, December 14 suspended the United Nations children’s agency UNICEF from operating in the country’s ravaged northeast over claims it was training “spies” who are supporting Boko Haram.
The military later on Friday said it had “lifted the three months suspension” after an emergency meeting with representatives of UNICEF.
The earlier statement said that UNICEF was “training selected persons” to sabotage counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency efforts.
“There is credible information that some of them are indulging in unwholesome practices that could further jeopardize the fight against terrorism and insurgency, as they train and deploy spies who support the insurgents and their sympathizers,' said a press release signed by Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu.
8. Twitter warns global users their tweets violate Pakistani law
WASHINGTON: When Canadian columnist Anthony Furey received an email said to be from Twitter’s legal team telling him he may have broken a slew of Pakistani laws, his first instinct was to dismiss it as spam.
But after Googling the relevant sections of Pakistan’s penal code, the Toronto Sun op-ed editor was startled to learn he stood accused of insulting the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) — a crime punishable by death in the Islamic republic — and Twitter later confirmed the correspondence was genuine.
His perceived offence was to post cartoons of the Prophet (PBUH) several years ago.
Furey and two prominent critics of extremism in Islam say they are “shocked” to have received notices by the social media giant this past week over alleged violations of Islamabad’s laws, despite having no apparent connection to the South Asian country.
