Samit Verma was seated in the balcony when he heard shouting and saw a man holding his hand straight up in a Nazi salute, he said in an email Thursday. Ushers rushed over to the man while audience members quickly made their way out of the theater and into the hall, Verma said.

A man laced the atmosphere of a Baltimore theatre with menace when he began shouting 'Heil Hitler! Heil Trump!' during intermission of a classic play set in a Jewish village in czarist Russia.
The patron’s pro-Nazi and pro-Trump outburst during a Wednesday night production of “Fiddler on the Roof” sent panicked people running for the exits at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre.
Rich Scherr, a technology and financial journalist who was one of over 1,000 theatregoers attending the Wednesday night performance in Baltimore, said a man seated in the balcony was behind the commotion. He described stunned audience members freezing in fear when the man began shouting minutes into the intermission.

4. Suspected ISIS followers detained in Russia
Detained suspects undertook collecting financial support for the militant group. During the raid the agents confiscated credit cards, extremist literature and ISIS symbols among other items - Russian Federal Security Service. The suspects have been charged with attempting to provide material and financial support or resources to a terrorist organisation.

6. German woman charged with Islamic State membership
Federal prosecutors say they've charged a 26-year-old German woman with membership in a terrorist organization on allegations she joined the extremist Islamic State.
Prosecutors said Thursday that Derya O., whose full name wasn't given in line with privacy laws, is accused of joining the group in Syria in February 2014 and marrying a fighter there with whom she had had previous contact over the internet.
They lived in Syria and Iraq off funds the husband received from IS, and had a child together.
She's alleged to have also received small-arms weapons training from her husband and had an explosive belt that could have been used in a suicide bombing.
7. EU Chief Juncker attacks nations leaving UN Migration Pact, slams “stupid populists”
Jean-Claude Juncker has criticised EU countries pulling out of the United Nations (UN) migration pact during a speech in Berlin, where he said Europe “must do everything possible” to kill populism on the continent.
Speaking at an event held by German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ), the EU Commission president said that the growing number of European governments withdrawing from the agreement must be ignorant of its contents.
The list of countries to have exited, which so far includes Austria, Hungary, Croatia, Bulgaria, and most recently the Czech Republic, would not have pulled out of the pact “if they had read it”, Juncker argued, claiming that the principles of “shared responsibility” outlined in the document would actually lead to less illegal immigration.
On Wednesday the Czech Republic became the latest to announce it was rejecting the so-called Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, which is due to be formally ratified at a meeting in Marrakech, Morocco, next month.
8. Syrian migrant, 20, is arrested for “raping three-year-old boy” at Greek refugee camp
A 20-year-old Syrian man has been arrested over claims he raped a three-year-old boy in a refugee camp in Greece.
Alshahada Thamer, 20, was taken into custody after the boy's mother, whose nationality is unknown, found him crying and bleeding in the camp.
The incident allegedly occurred in the Agia Eleni refugee camp near the city of Ioannina in north-western Greece. [...]
She said as well as having external injuries, her son had complained about pain in his lower abdomen and genitals.
The mother took her son to the University Hospital of Ioannina, where medical staff confirmed that the boy had been sexually abused.

10. Six months later, police investigate assault that put man into coma for drinking during Ramadan
Belgian police are only now investigating the case of a man who was put into a coma after being attacked for drinking during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, sixth months after the assault took place.
The case dates back to May 20th, 2018, and saw a 39-year-old man in the commune of Saint-Josse, Brussels, drinking alcohol on the street during Ramadan. The man was approached by another individual, who he said became angry that he was drinking, who beat the man so brutally that he was in a coma for several weeks, newspaper La Dernière Heure reports. The attack is not the first time Belgians have been violently assaulted for drinking alcohol in public.
Earlier that same month, a man and his son were violently attacked by several men in Antwerp after they had sat down on the terrace of a halal restaurant with alcohol in their possession and an argument ensued.
