1. Toronto Imam is issuing religious marriage certificates for polygamous relationships
A recent investigative report by the Fifth Estate has revealed that a Toronto mosque has been issuing marriage certificates for Muslims in polygamous relationships.
Polygamy is illegal in Canada under section 293 of the Criminal Code, however it is rarely prosecuted by the legal system.
“I’ve decided to have a marriage again, to take a second wife” says the undercover reporter to Imam Aly Hindy.
“We have no problem with the government because this is nikah [a Muslim marriage]. There is no problem,” says the Imam.
“We are not going to register. If you register then it is illegal because you are already married.”
When confronted with the video of his statements, Imam Aly Hindy says that “you can’t prevent” polygamy.
“We have a problem and eventually this society, we’re going to recognize that there’s not enough men for each woman.”
Imam Aly Hindy has courted controversy before. In 2012 Hindy was quoted telling his congregation that homosexuality was “nonsense” and an “invented” phenomenon.
2. French riot police are now using semi-automatic weapons with live ammunition against Yellow Vest protestors as Macron's law and order crisis spirals
French riot police have deployed semi-automatic weapons with live ammunition against Yellow Vest protestors for the first time.
Officers were filmed brandishing Heckler & Koch G36 weapons by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris on Saturday afternoon.
The presence of semi-automatic rifles at a demonstration by unarmed French citizens shows how President Emmanuel Macron’s law and order crisis spirals.
It comes after former conservative minister Luc Ferry called for live fire to be used against the “thugs” from the Yellow Vest movement who he says “beat up police.”

4. Imam could run for federal Liberals in Montreal byelection
[...] Hassan Guillet, the spokesman for the Quebec Council of Imams, said he is considering seeking the federal Liberal nomination in Saint-Léonard–Saint-Michel.
A byelection to replace Liberal MP Nicola Di Iorio, who announced his resignation in April, could be announced in the near future. Di Iorio is still sitting as MP.
Guillet acknowledged to La Presse that he had been approached by the federal Liberals, but said his mind was not yet 100-per-cent made up. However, he said he had announced to Muslims in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, 45 kilometres southeast of Montreal, where he preaches, that his sermon Friday “could be the last one for some time.”
Guillet said he respected the Liberal Party of Canada for its “openness, multiculturalism and respect for others.”
5. Iran sends SHUDDER through US by launching “BALLISTIC MISSILE technology” into space
The Islamic Republic will send the satellites into orbit using a Simorgh space launch vehicle from the Imam Khomeini Space Centre. The US fears Iran could potentially use this satellite system to launch intercontinental ballistic missiles. Tehran has denied any such motive but US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has insisted Iran stop its satellite launches.
He has claimed they “incorporate technology that is virtually identical to that used in ballistic missiles”, inferring the launches would be a violation of the United Nations Security Council Resolution which prohibits Iran from testing nuclear-capable weapons.
Mr Pompeo said: “The United States will not stand by and watch the Iranian regime's destructive policies place international stability and security at risk.”

A TV station founded by an Islamic preacher banned from the UK is under investigation after a guest claimed fathers should “push” their daughters into marriage.
Islamic scholar Haitham al-Haddad, once described as “one of the most dangerous men in Britain”, made the statements on Peace TV's Marriage and Divorce show in November.

9. Saudi man facing sexual assault charges in Nova Scotia “fled” after embassy posted bail
A 28-year-old Saudi man charged with sexually assaulting a Cape Breton woman has gone missing, with a leading immigration lawyer saying it may be a case of the Middle Eastern kingdom helping a citizen flee while awaiting trial.
Nova Scotia’s prosecution service says Mohammed Zuraibi Alzoabi had $37,500 of his bail posted by the Saudi Arabian embassy last year in relation to the alleged sexual assault, assault and forcible confinement of the woman between Aug. 1, 2015, and March 26, 2017.
Alzoabi is also facing separate charges of dangerous driving and assault with a car in a December 2015 incident involving a Cape Breton man.
The money the kingdom provided for Alzoabi’s bail last year was forfeited when he failed to appear in court last Monday, said prosecutor Shane Russell in an interview from his Sydney, N.S., office.
10. Observatory: Court ruling against German homeschoolers is “major blow to parental rights”
A recent ruling by the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) found that German authorities had not violated a family’s rights when they stormed their home and carried away their four children to prevent them from receiving homeschooling, a decision condemned by human rights advocates as 'a major blow to parental rights.'
The case goes back to August 2013, when more than 30 police officers and social workers burst into the home of Dirk and Petra Wunderlich, just as they were beginning their first homeschooling lesson of the year, a practice that is illegal in Germany, and seized their children.
Ellen Fantini, Executive Director of the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe, told Breitbart News on Monday that Germany is one of the only nations to criminally enforce its ban on homeschooling, and that the officials had “entered the Wunderlich home with a battering ram and taken the children by force.”
