3. VIDEO: 200 UK-Bound Illegal Migrants Storm Lorries in Small French Town Every Day
Around 200 illegal migrants a day are trying to break into lorries leaving for the UK from the French port of Ouistreham, as the migrant crisis shifts away from the previous hotspot of Calais.
Police in the small French port town, a three-hour drive south of Calais, say the migrants are attempting to board ferried bound for the English port of Portsmouth.
Local officers told the BBC, which broadcast the shocking footage, that the huge increase in security in Calais meant migrants are shifting their focus.
Frederic Aubanel, a police general in the Calvados department, said Monday night that up to 200 migrants a day would attempt to breach lorries.

4. Just Two Percent of Swedish Political Candidates Live in High Migrant Populated Areas
Despite around five percent of Sweden’s total population living in migrant majority areas, just two percent of the candidates running for Sweden’s national election next month live in such areas.
Using data from Statistics Sweden, a new report from Swedish broadcaster SVT shows that few political candidates, only two percent of regular candidates and one percent of “top candidates” actually live in migrant areas despite many on the left being the largest advocates for mass migration into the country.
Many of the heavily migrant populated areas are also classified as “vulnerable” or known as no-go areas like the Stockholm suburbs of Rinkeby, Husby and Tensta or the Malmö suburb of Rosengard due to high levels of crime and unemployment. Malmo, which has one of Sweden’s largest migrant-background populations, has an unemployment rate double the Swedish average.
5. BONOKOSKI: Omar Khadr, just another tourist wandering Senate hallways?
After Guantanamo poster boy and $10.5-million-man Omar Khadr was seen strolling through the hallways of the Senate on Parliament Hill in mid-June as if he owned the place, the Trudeau Liberals went into damage control.
They leaked their version of the story to the Globe and Mail in order to put a political spin on what should have been a major story about the lapse of security on Parliament Hill, and how a convicted terrorist with undeniable face recognition was freely able to come so close to scores of parliamentarians.
Instead of focusing on the security issue, scorn was tossed earlier this week at the Conservatives, via the Globe, as if they had plotted Khadr’s presence on Parliament Hill with his wife, Muna Abougoush, and then laid in wait until the right moment to drop the bombshell.
The Globe, in fact, even had Khadr’s long-time lawyer, Dennis Edney, condemning the Conservatives for Islamophobia.
6. Sweden turns down migrants docked in Italy
Sweden has refused to take in a group of nearly 200 migrants stuck on a ship in an Italian port.
Italian coastguard ship Diciotti arrived at Sicily late on Monday night after picking up 177 people near the southern Italian island of Lampedusa, including an estimated 30 unaccompanied minors.
The vessel was allowed to dock, but the migrants have been denied permission to disembark.
The country’s hardline interior minister, Matteo Salvini, has threatened to take them to Libya unless other EU countries take them in, despite reports of serious abuse in North African detention camps.
Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven on Wednesday confirmed reports by Swedish public radio that his centre-left coalition government had declined requests to let the migrants on board seek asylum in Sweden.

8. Chilling footage shows four knife-wielding boys - one as young as 11 - who ISIS claims carried out bomb attacks in Chechnya
Islamic State's media wing have released a chilling video of four young boys - one as young as 11 - that they claim are behind knife attacks on police in the name of the terrorist group.
The attacks on police targets in the Russian region of Chechnya on Monday were claimed by IS.
In the new footage, three of the boys brandished large knives and the youngest held up a phone with an Islamic State flag displayed on the screen as they pledged allegiance in Russian to Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
9. Four Year Prison Sentence for Afghan Migrant Who Stabbed Four People After Being Told Not to Harass Girls
An Afghan migrant in France was given a short four-year sentence — with one year suspended — after being found guilty of stabbing four people in the town of Périgueux last week.
The 19-year-old asylum seeker was found guilty of “aggravated violence” over the weekend by a court in Périgueux after he had gone on a drunken rampage with a kitchen knife and injured four people, Le Parisien reports.
According to evidence and testimony heard in court, the 19-year-old had drunk an entire bottle of whiskey along with his cousin on the day of the attack and claimed not to recall the details of the incident.
The attack occurred on the Rue Victor Hugo after two local residents and a pair of paramedics spoke up about the Afghan harassing a group of local teenage girls. The migrant attacked the four men with his kitchen knife, with all four men receiving minor injuries as a result of the attack.
