On Thursday night during an event highlighting the stories, history, and experiences of three different Middle Eastern indigenous communities — Armenian, Jewish, and Kurdish — at UCLA, students were harassed, attacked, and shouted down by Students for Justice in Palestine during their event.
The Palestinian protesters brought in blow-horns to shut down the speakers.
One Palestinian ripped down the Armenian and Israeli flags screaming, “Mother f-king’ Armenian flag!”
The protesters shut down the event for over 15 minutes until the campus police arrived.

PATTANI: The fourth day of the month of Ramadan has been marred with incidents of violence with about 20 bombs targeting Automatic Teller Machines (ATM), going off in some parts of southern Thailand.
The bomb blasts started from 7 pm (local time) in the turbulent Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat and Songkla provinces.
"The authorities received reports of four bombs exploding in the Muang district of Pattani, while a bomb each exploded in Saiburi, Nongchik and Yarang, all placed at ATM machines," Pattani police chief Maj Gen Piyawat Chalermsi said today.

Explosions reportedly rocked an area thought to house an Iranian facility near Damascus early Monday morning, according to a report in Sky News Arabia.
There was no immediate confirmation of the explosion and it was not clear what may have caused the blasts, which came days after another mysterious explosion at a Syrian base.
7. US anti-tank missiles found at former Al-Nusra facility in Syria – Russian MoD (VIDEO)
US-made TOW anti-tank missiles, along with other weapons, have been found in facilities once controlled by Al-Nusra militants in Syria’s Homs province, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The trove was located in a former observation point of the Al-Nusra Front terrorist group in the liberated Zaafaran settlement in Homs province, the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria said on Monday. “[We] can see here a large number of gas masks, weapons produced abroad, for example, TOW-2 anti-tank guided missiles. The facilities are very well-equipped,” Andrey Nekipelov, an official at the center, stated.

His call at a massed rally in Sarajevo, Bosnia was met by ringing cries of “Allahu akbar” and “Sultan Erdogan” from thousands of expatriate Turks, The Times reports.
“The European countries that claim to be the cradles of democracy have failed,” he told 15,000 cheering members of the Turkish diaspora, many of whom had travelled from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
“European Turks must show their strength to the whole world,” he said. “You need to be in those parliaments instead of the ones who betray our country.”

Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Police Senior Commissioner Argo Yuwono said the joint team from Directorate of General Crime Investigation of Jakarta Metro Police and South Jakarta Metro Police are investigating.
"We have formed a team, we are investigating," said Argo at Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters on Monday (5/21).
According to him, the joint team was formed because in revealing the case, it is not possible to be done alone by the sector police.
