3. Moroccan Migrant Goes on Drunken Lorry Rampage in Northern Italy
ROME — Italian police pursued an inebriated Moroccan migrant at the wheel of a lorry on a miles-long chase late Thursday, as the man crashed into parked cars, road signs, fire hydrants, and even the doors of houses along the route.
The chase occurred in the town of Legnago, in the northern Italian province of Verona, and finally ended with the arrest of the driver. The migrant reportedly had hijacked a garbage truck, forcing the driver out of the vehicle and driving off in a “mad rush” and provoking suspicions of a terrorist act.
After the high-speed pursuit lasting “ten kilometers,” the Carbinieri military police were finally able to stop the 31-year-old driver by setting up a roadblock. The man crashed into one of the police cars at full speed, sending the car into another civilian vehicle with a woman inside.
4. “HANG THE INFIDEL!” Hundreds of Islamist extremists rally in Pakistan to demand death sentence for Christian woman convicted of insulting Prophet Mohammed
HUNDREDS of Islamist extremists have rallied in Pakistan to demand the death sentence for a Christian woman convicted of insulting the Prophet Mohammed.
Asia Bibi was put on death row in 2010 after she was accused of blasphemy during a row over a water container by fellow farmworkers in the capital of Lahore.
Chanting "Hang infidel Asia," activists from the Tehreek-e-Labbaik party also rallied in other cities on Friday, threatening nationwide protests if authorities free the woman.
Pakistan's Supreme Court earlier this week postponed ruling on her final appeal and her lawyers are hopeful of an acquittal arguing she was falsely accused.
That decision has angered Islamists who want her to be publicly hanged - making her the first person to be executed for blasphemy in Pakistan.
5. Outrage as shrine to murdered soldier Lee Rigby is removed by local council because it is “unsightly”
The unofficial shrine to murdered soldier Lee Rigby has been removed by a local council because it is “unsightly.”
Flags, flowers and banners occupied the spot opposite the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich where Fusilier Rigby was killed by Islamic terrorists Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale in May 2013.
But Greenwich Council removed them yesterday because local residents had complained they looked “weathered and worn.”
“We are acting now because the number of items has expanded significantly in recent months and many have been weathered, worn and look unsightly.”
But the decision drew immediate anger on Twitter, where one user wrote: “Wrong on many levels. You show so much contempt to the British people.
“Disgraceful. Have you no shame? Maybe all memorials should be removed, if that's your stance.”
6. Maxime Bernier on UN:
The UN is a useless joke. Justin Trudeau keeps wasting Canadian taxpayers money abroad trying to get his seat at the UN Security Council. Instead, we should reassert our sovereignty and stop pretending that this corrupt international bureaucracy has any credibility. https://t.co/FsnnwAqBT7— Maxime Bernier (@MaximeBernier) October 13, 2018

8. Plane mutiny kept a gang rapist in the UK: Somali man whose deportation from the UK was stopped by plane passengers raped a 16-year-old girl in London and his accomplice went on to fight for ISIS
A Somalian whose deportation from Britain was dramatically halted after airline passengers staged a mutiny demanding his release can be exposed today as a convicted gang rapist who was being kicked out of the country because of his sickening crime.
Officials escorting Yaqub Ahmed on a flight from Heathrow to Turkey were forced to abandon his deportation when around a dozen holidaymakers who felt sorry for him angrily intervened shortly before take-off.
At one stage during the astonishing episode, filmed on mobile phones, one traveller complained: “They’re separating him from his family,” while others chanted “take him off the plane.” [...]
But the passengers who thought they were doing a good deed were unaware that the man they were defending had been sentenced to nine years in jail for his part in a vicious gang rape of a teenage girl – and that another member of his gang later fought for Islamic State in Syria.
Today The Mail on Sunday can reveal how Ahmed and three other youths preyed on a 16-year-old stranger after she became separated from her friends during a night out in London’s Leicester Square, in August 2007.

9. Hadi insists on Oktoberfest ban, claims offensive to Muslims
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 13 — PAS president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang criticised the government for not prohibiting Oktoberfest celebrations this year, saying the Bavarian festival was against Muslim culture.
While claiming non-Muslims are free to celebrate any events that are not against their religious principles, he said such events must be reconciled with Muslim sensitivities and respect of Islam.
“We acknowledge that Malaysia is a multi-racial country so non-Muslims are free to celebrate what they want, but at the same time, any actions that can cause ‘harm’ must be prohibited.
“We should respect the sensitivity of each other’s religion to maintain the harmony in the country,” he was quoted as saying in Kuala Terengganu yesterday by PAS organ Harakah.
10. Multicultural Bradford: Man Rapes Blood-Covered Stranger with Broken Jaw
Shaid Hanif faces jail after being found guilty of raping a woman he found intoxicated, covered in blood, and with cracked teeth and suffering a broken jaw after a night out in Bradford, England.
Bradford Crown Court heard the 40-year-old “used the woman, who was a total stranger, for his own gratification,” after coming across her by chance outside a Jurys Inn hotel, according to local media.
He found his victim staggering along the street alone in the early hours of the morning with her shirt covered in blood, after she had been out with friends at a nightclub in the racially-divided Yorkshire city, jurors heard.
Prosecutor Matthew Bean said the 22-year-old woman was seriously injured with a broken jaw, cracked teeth, a fractured finger, and was covered in grazing and bruising when she was encountered by Hanif, who called a taxi and took her to his home and raped her.
