Trans Mountain suspension proves Trudeau's " social license" carbon tax failed

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

On last night's show, Federal Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation Aaron Wudrick joined me to discuss Kinder Morgan's decision to suspend construction of the Trans Mountain Pipeline.

When Trudeau imposed a carbon tax on the provinces, he claimed it would grant Canadian pipelines a "social license" that would satisfy environmentalists and activists governments.

But Kinder Morgan's announcement proves the carbon tax failed to make any difference, and Trudeau won't lift a finger against American funded anti-oil extremists or BC's NDP government.

WATCH my interview with Aaron to see why Trudeau's "social license" is really a fake I.D.

So Junior….if we aren’t building our resource capabilities, where is the shortfall going to come from? This cabinet is a complete failure in EVERY possible way, shape and form.

Canada is in serious trouble and there does not appear to be any way out of that trouble for some time to come.

The noxious carbon tax was never intended to be a ‘social license’ for oil projects such as production or pipelines. The was a lie from the beginning. It was always a Liberal and NDP tax grab, plain and simple. It was also sold on the premise that it would be ‘revenue neutral’, but that was also a lie. The plan was to sell it with that proviso and then at some point down the road, remove the repayments. This noxious tax was always a scam.
