TransCanada walks away from Energy East: Liberals “lose” pipeline to gain votes

Holly NicholasRebel Commentator

You may have heard that the Energy East pipeline is on its last legs after TransCanada announced they’ve suspended their application to build the $13.7B project that would bring oil from Saskatchewan and Alberta to eastern Canadian refineries.

The company still wants to build the project, but says it might be cancelled due to significant changes to the regulation process.

Canada has around the third highest oil reserves on the planet yet still imports conflict oil from Middle East countries where barbaric practices abound, all because professional eco-radicals don’t want a pipeline and some government officials and bureaucrats want to keep their cushy taxpayer funded jobs.

You’d think our feminist Prime Minister, champion of human rights and minorities, would be opposed to bringing blood oil into the country. Instead, he’s responsible for bringing in more of it by putting an end to Energy East.

The Liberals are indirectly killing pipelines by bringing in a competition-killing carbon tax and hiring their anti-oil activist friends to the NEB decision making panel.

Could the Liberals be stalling Energy East because they think they’ll lose the next election if they approve it?

Watch as I explain why this might be the case and it has a lot to do with the many NDP ridings that turned red last election.

This isn’t about climate change and it’s not about the environment.

Liberals are actually all about appeasing their voter base and appeasing a potential voter base, even if it means kneecapping Canadian prosperity and supporting our enemies.

Bull! Andrew Stephenson…. Irving in St. John, the largest refinery in Canada, stopped buying Bakken crude years ago… It definitely is Middle East oil that is being shipped to Eastern Canada… There is no “trans shipping”… They come right up the Bay of Fundy from the Middle East… Ask anybody who lives in New Brunswick or Nova Scotia…

If it’s for votes, then it’s what people want and it’s fair

Most of the oil imported into Eastern Canada is from the US now. Hardly “blood oil”, it’s essentially Canadian oil transshipped through the US.

This article epitomizes in several ways the hypocrisy of this here outlet of the .media web domain type.

And this is what happens with an overbloated bureucracy-nothing gets done. But of course, Liberals love getting nothing done so that they can divide this country and rebuild it into a nightmare.

Jihadi Justin does not care about votes for the next election. The rotten potato is deliberately causing the demise of the economy to create an “emergency”. Then, in order to solve said “emergency”, he will declare his “admired” dictatorship. Liberal voters everywhere will cheer. Western Canada will move towards separation. Civil war will follow. Importing conflict oil? Liberal Paul Martin benefits from this as his taxpayer subsidized Canada Steamship Lines (not even registered in Canada) does the transport of said oil. Along with drugs. Another story the fake news media refused to pick up and report on………….!

They may gain votes but they will lose just as many if not more. Though I do believe that the voting system has been rigged, and we’ll never get rid of the riff raff. There are too many traitors in the system to have a fair election. Liberals break all the rules and get away with it, to the detriment of democracy. Someone said that in a democracy, the people get the government they deserve.

Tell me gain why Alberta stays in this country. Try and making it convincing.

LOL…I see in the Financial Post this morning that the invisible energy minister popped up from under her desk to make a ‘too little, too late’ statement: as if she and the rest of the New Demoncratic caucus were not happier than the pigs at the trough with this announcement by TransCanada.

She has since returned to her burrow.

Blood oil sounds better than conflict oil.

Why does the left love rape and murder oil so much?

So it looks like the Manitoba provincial government is caving in on the carbon tax. They want it to be $25 per ton. It is really disappointing to see a conservative government not fight against a carbon tax.

And is it me, or does Holly love to say knee cap?

Oh good… While Alberta and Saskatchewan oil reserves stay in the ground, Middle East oil tankers will continue to pull up daily to the Canaport docks in St. John, New Brunswick so Irving Oil can keep refining offshore oil… (And taking out the occasional whale while plowing up the Bay of Fundy!) Madness – Canada Class Madness!..

I’ve been wishing for western separation ever since I was a kid and watched that smug little communist asshole PET !!!!!! God I hope these welfare provinces get what’s coming to them ! Ten fold !

I have been an advocate of western separation for years.. Politicians like to keep the fear alive in the people who are unsure of where separation would take them because every politician knows that separation would benefit the people and sink a lot of career politicians and their pensions.!!

I just received the following interesting comments from the Fraser Institute, a think tank that actually understands what is happening to the Wests Oil Industry.
ENDING THE ALBERTA TRANSFER GRAVY TRAIN WOULD ADD NEW DIMENSION TO PIPELINE WARS.
(Here is a great comment) " Westerners are sick and tired of transferring vast wealth into the rest of Canada, while having to fight to preserve the industry that fills Ottawa’s coffers.
In the past decade Albertans contributed $221.4 Billion more revenue to Federal coffers than they received in Federal transfer payments and services.
Alberta also provided economic opportunities for over 270,000 Canadians who moved to Alberta from other parts of Canada.
Despite having only 12% of Canada’s population, Alberta created 32.5 % of all private-sector jobs in Canada.
I wonder if the insane Mayors of Vancouver, Burnaby and Montreal know these Fraser Institute Numbers?
Can you imagine if Alberta-Sask. joined the US; Central and Eastern Canadians would be crossing Haiti’s border illegally to survive.

Economics 101… There’s four ways to generate wealth..
  1. agriculture and forestry..
  2. fishing, fish farming..
  3. mining and energy..
  4. manufacturing..
Anything outside the parameters of the four ways to generate wealth is either for support, entertainment or convenience and cannot exist or standalone by itself in any economic reality without the four ways of generating wealth.

The people of Alberta and Saskatchewan have to act as soon as Notley is gone. But first lets have a quick overview of Canada.
1. In 2 years the Ottawa will owe 800 Billion
2. Ont. and Que. will owe near the same 800 billion
3. Manitoba and Atlantic Canada , 41% of their revenue are Transfer Payments from Alberta & Sask.. These 5 Provinces cannot sustain themselves without Alberta and Sask. helping them.
Summary: 7 Provinces and the Ottawa cannot live without Alberta and Sask.
Your new Leaders must unhook the Gravy Train leading to these 8 ungrateful Locations, using any means possible including marching in the streets or blocking Government from the Legislature.
The day is coming when your only customer, the US won’t need your oil, so you must make your demands to Ottawa soon.

It doesn’t make sense Holly because logic, reason and the good of the nation was not part of the Truedough anti-pipeline, anti-Canadian energy self sufficiency policy process. Trudeau was put in power by interests who will profit if Canadian energy is taken off line. It’s that simple. Saudi oil fuels the east – the Trudeau liberals oppose cheaper Canadian oil fueling the east – Truedough strangles the economy of the western provinces he and papa doc had so much enmity for, and he does what his patrons invested in Saudi oil paid for – securing more patronage cash flow to Librano coffers.

All this anti-Canadian energy subterfuge plus carbon taxing the use of increasingly expensive energy will result in Canadian energy poverty in the midst of abundant domestic resources – when insane energy costs strangle low income workers/families/seniors, when people need to choose between groceries or new cloths for the kids or heating the house or driving to work in winter (Ontario will be hit worse) – they need to be reminded repeatedly and loudly who’s insane energy policies put them in energy poverty.

Unbelievable incompetence by the Trudeau government and unbelievable stupidity of the people that voted them in.

Of course, with Canadian oil trapped and unavailable for export, world oil prices will rise substantially. Texas will flourish beyond its wildest dreams.

Anything I say concerning pipelines is merely a regurgitation of everything we’ve been saying since day one.
Ask yourself how many pipelines will be built in the future if their approval is dependent on downstream emmissions? How ridiculous. A grade five could answer that. (No disrespect to those grade five’rs that are tuning in).
Turns out the great social license really isn’t a license at all. It’s farce logic. It’s as fake as Carbon Dioxide causing our planet to boil.
This idiot is bringing Canada to its knees right before our eyes.
Well……soon the petty little family rated pride parades will draw to a close as cooler weather sets in. Trudeau will be back in parliament where Andrew Scheer will get to hold his fellow feminist’s feet to the fire. Seeing that Andrew is trying to be a Trudeau clone, thinking it will score him votes, how do loyal Conservatives think that will go?
Are you ready for six more years of this bumbling idiot?
In the meantime I’ll have to mastermind how I can charge back the government, for all this Trudeau triggered anquish and pain I’m subjected to daily. Maybe I’ll hold back some of my hard earned middle income from tax payable as a health expense. I’ll sprinkle it!
Are you ready? We are going to hit one Trillion in debt before he leaves or gets booted out, and you can take that to the bank.
With the hundreds of gaffes and misteps attributed to Trudeau, McKenna, Butts and the rest of the idiots, you’d think people in Canada would WTFU.
Think of the millions (billions), companies like Trans Canada have had to invest while attempting to gain government approval? And who ultimately benefits? Fellow Canadians that’s who. If I were Trans Canada I’d sue the Trudeau gov’t for changing the rules mid stream ….say…..$10.5B. Ya thats a nice round number with a B.
Count on Trudeau, McKenna, Butts and Denis Coderre clinking glasses tonight.
Have a great weekend to all the Rebels out there!

I don’t understand. Auntie Rachel said if she extorted my retirement savings through a carbon tax, then pipelines will be built through social license.

Does this mean Auntie Rachel is a LIAR?
