On the latest episode of The Gunn Show, Robbie Picard from Oilsands Strong joined me to talk about how every party running to head up the federal government should recognize that the Transmountain Pipeline Expansion is in the national interest.
Alberta will collapse without the ability to develop their energy industry, and the rest of the country would suffer as well.
..but this – this was good.
-————————————————————————-I saw your Varney Video before and was glad you posted it as I was proud that a Canadian with good communication skills explained our oil situation on the most watched TV Channel in the world. Most of us would have missed it if you didn’t post it.
Liz asked, What entrepreneur millionaire immigrants Ron, from where? Investing in what? What is a millionaire immigrant?
-————————————————————I don’t know. That what I mean when I say that he is not clear on what kind of Immigration. Actually my educated guess is these Millionaires wanting to come here are from China and India. (I lived in Vancouver)
Just now on CBC News, Kenney going on more shows in New York to push Alberta Oil.
Jason Kenney on Varney and Co. on FOX

There are also a lot of low wage earner Albertan’s on welfare who could get off of the dole and into many of the spin off service jobs instead of bringing in immigrants on temp worker permits (which Kenney wants to include a path to citizenship). I have heard the argument over and over that Canadians don’t want those low wage service jobs. My answer is, make it easy for them . Cut welfare payments or make them available only on a short term basis, unless you are disabled. Every Canadian who has been, or wants to be employed working in the patch on rigs and such should be getting those high paying jobs before anyone else. Train, train and train, in prep for the more skilled jobs. It seems industry leaders could be encouraged to take more responsibility for training a Canadian workforce.
If there is a convincing argument for foreign temp workers, Kenney has not given it, and I have been listening to what he says. So far no prize. I know the arguments. I haven’t heard a good one yet.
What entrepreneur millionaire immigrants Ron, from where? Investing in what? What is a millionaire immigrant?
Ron Joseph, Kenney is actually pretty clear on his views on immigration and has no problem explaining them that I have ever noticed.
-———————————————————————-Yes, he is clear on his views on Immigration, but not on what kind of Immigration. Jason has to better explain if he wants Alberta to receive 3rd world migrants and their parents along with grandparents, or the Cream of the Crop, meaning entrepreneur millionaires that will invest in Alberta. His experience from his high up Federal job has taught him that there are many of these desired Immigrants knocking at the door.
Finally, a politician representing Canada on an American news network, that looks and acts like an adult and conducts himself in an appropriate manner rather than making Canada look like a laughing stock, as Trudeau and Freeland have done.
-————————————————————————Yes, Kenney is a little Acey-Deucey when it comes to explaining his views on Immigration-Refugees, but it sure is comforting to have a solid person defending Canadian Oil. He seems even better when I think of Rachel Notley’s years of destruction.
Well Quebecers think they are better off than the rest of Canada but they have a LNG pipeline coming into play , so if the become a have province and the Liberals destroy Alberta they will have to send transfer payments to Alberta than listen to the pig squeal .
Not a very smart move on the part of the CPC. They should be able to withstand the side by side comparison with the PPC .
Its a bad look for Scheer that he is complaining that Bernier will be invited.
Bernier now qualifies, so why shouldn’t he be there?
Because its going to mean the rest of them will have to counter Bernier’s common sense policies and they are not going to want to do that.
Watch them try to shut down the entire thing rather that be on the stage with a real politician as opposed to a fellow puppet.
Wow Bernier will now be allowed to participate in two debates!!
Bet Trudeau is a ‘no show’.

I know I have been ragging on him about his immigration policies since the Harper days, but he is great when it comes to supporting Alberta OIL.
eAT YOUR HEART OUT gERALD bUTTS.
-————————————————————————————————Great points Andy, because of some Maritimer’s decisions on no pipelines from Alberta, I hope they don’t end up paying $1.75 -$2.00 a liter like you might end up doing on the Western coast. (My Oil Industry friend in Alberta called me last night and predicted the above price for Vancouver and Island.)
Off topic: Tom Quiggin was saying that Brenda Luki the RCMP commissioner is married to finance minister Bill Morneau’s cousin-what the heck. Anyone else hear this?
-———————————————————-Sheldon, haven’t heard about that relationship, but here is Brenda Lucki’s relationship with the UN; I’m sure the UN will have a spot for her in the future along with the sock boy.
Order of St. John’s Certificate for providing humanitarian assistance at great personal risk in the former Yugoslavia (1994)
• Peacekeeping medals from the UN (1993 and 1994) and Canada (2000); UN Force Commander’s Commendation for exemplary performance and contributions to the UNPROFOR mission (1993)
She doesn’t look like the Green Hornet, but who knows how good she is as we never hear from her? Bob Paulson her predecessor was in the news every week for good or bad.

“Second Alberta man told to remove pro-oil and gas shirt during Parliament tour”
Meantime our crude will be languishing up in Fort Mac in order to save the planet .
An empty vacant podium for our empty suit PM who gives Canadians the finger just like his Bolshevik father did.
Here’s the answer.
I had heard my parents say in Abbotsford that there were more closures. There as well in the north. They are shutting it all down. They make life harder for farmers too so they feel they need to sell out to the bigger corporations. The goal is to control food production as well.
We are in very trying times, and despite my screen name, I’m for all patriots wherever they are. I don’t think any election is going to fix anything, though I would support Bernier. I think we are well past that. There’s a reason they are trying so hard for our firearms too.
