Robbie Picard: Transmountain pipeline is in Canada's national interest

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

On the latest episode of The Gunn Show, Robbie Picard from Oilsands Strong joined me to talk about how every party running to head up the federal government should recognize that the Transmountain Pipeline Expansion is in the national interest.

Alberta will collapse without the ability to develop their energy industry, and the rest of the country would suffer as well.

..but this – this was good.
-————————————————————————-
I saw your Varney Video before and was glad you posted it as I was proud that a Canadian with good communication skills explained our oil situation on the most watched TV Channel in the world. Most of us would have missed it if you didn’t post it.

Liz asked, What entrepreneur millionaire immigrants Ron, from where? Investing in what? What is a millionaire immigrant?
-————————————————————
I don’t know. That what I mean when I say that he is not clear on what kind of Immigration. Actually my educated guess is these Millionaires wanting to come here are from China and India. (I lived in Vancouver)

Just now on CBC News, Kenney going on more shows in New York to push Alberta Oil.

Just because they are knocking doesn’t mean we need to let them in. Lets get the Alberta economy up and running and Albertan’s back to work first before talk of bringing in more immigrants, even if they were of the more skilled type. Kenney has already committed to bringing in more bodies, I don’t know what type, but I believe he is mostly talking to fill jobs he plans to create ?(l think its fair to say that they won’t be South Africans, or from any commonwealth countries).

There are also a lot of low wage earner Albertan’s on welfare who could get off of the dole and into many of the spin off service jobs instead of bringing in immigrants on temp worker permits (which Kenney wants to include a path to citizenship). I have heard the argument over and over that Canadians don’t want those low wage service jobs. My answer is, make it easy for them . Cut welfare payments or make them available only on a short term basis, unless you are disabled. Every Canadian who has been, or wants to be employed working in the patch on rigs and such should be getting those high paying jobs before anyone else. Train, train and train, in prep for the more skilled jobs. It seems industry leaders could be encouraged to take more responsibility for training a Canadian workforce.
If there is a convincing argument for foreign temp workers, Kenney has not given it, and I have been listening to what he says. So far no prize. I know the arguments. I haven’t heard a good one yet.

Ron Joseph, Kenney is actually pretty clear on his views on immigration and has no problem explaining them that I have ever noticed.
-———————————————————————-
Yes, he is clear on his views on Immigration, but not on what kind of Immigration. Jason has to better explain if he wants Alberta to receive 3rd world migrants and their parents along with grandparents, or the Cream of the Crop, meaning entrepreneur millionaires that will invest in Alberta. His experience from his high up Federal job has taught him that there are many of these desired Immigrants knocking at the door.

Ron Joseph, Kenney is actually pretty clear on his views on immigration and has no problem explaining them that I have ever noticed. He doesn’t want to entertain any concerns or counter points to his on the subject, and that is a problem for me. However, on defending Alberta’s right to extract and get their product to market, he is just what is needed. I really like him in that role.
Finally, a politician representing Canada on an American news network, that looks and acts like an adult and conducts himself in an appropriate manner rather than making Canada look like a laughing stock, as Trudeau and Freeland have done.

Liza Rosie, Re. Kenney—I know I have been ragging on him about his immigration policies since the Harper days, but he is great when it comes to supporting Alberta OIL.
-————————————————————————
Yes, Kenney is a little Acey-Deucey when it comes to explaining his views on Immigration-Refugees, but it sure is comforting to have a solid person defending Canadian Oil. He seems even better when I think of Rachel Notley’s years of destruction.

Max should start off drinking milk from a American milk producer just for laughs .
Well Quebecers think they are better off than the rest of Canada but they have a LNG pipeline coming into play , so if the become a have province and the Liberals destroy Alberta they will have to send transfer payments to Alberta than listen to the pig squeal .

Scheer’s press secretary seems to indicate that Scheer is pissed about it.
Not a very smart move on the part of the CPC. They should be able to withstand the side by side comparison with the PPC .
Its a bad look for Scheer that he is complaining that Bernier will be invited.
Bernier now qualifies, so why shouldn’t he be there?
Because its going to mean the rest of them will have to counter Bernier’s common sense policies and they are not going to want to do that.
Watch them try to shut down the entire thing rather that be on the stage with a real politician as opposed to a fellow puppet.

Andy Neimers— the bomb blasts in major Saudi oilfields in the past 48 hours must have some Maritimers finally “sucking wind”… The majority of the tanker traffic to the Irving Canaport Refineries in St. John.
-————————————————————————————————
Great points Andy, because of some Maritimer’s decisions on no pipelines from Alberta, I hope they don’t end up paying $1.75 -$2.00 a liter like you might end up doing on the Western coast. (My Oil Industry friend in Alberta called me last night and predicted the above price for Vancouver and Island.)

Off topic: Tom Quiggin was saying that Brenda Luki the RCMP commissioner is married to finance minister Bill Morneau’s cousin-what the heck. Anyone else hear this?
-———————————————————-
Sheldon, haven’t heard about that relationship, but here is Brenda Lucki’s relationship with the UN; I’m sure the UN will have a spot for her in the future along with the sock boy.
Order of St. John’s Certificate for providing humanitarian assistance at great personal risk in the former Yugoslavia (1994)
• Peacekeeping medals from the UN (1993 and 1994) and Canada (2000); UN Force Commander’s Commendation for exemplary performance and contributions to the UNPROFOR mission (1993)

She doesn’t look like the Green Hornet, but who knows how good she is as we never hear from her? Bob Paulson her predecessor was in the news every week for good or bad.

That’s the insanity of it Fen Polder, and the bomb blasts in major Saudi oilfields in the past 48 hours must have some Maritimers finally “sucking wind”… The majority of the tanker traffic to the Irving Canaport refineries in St. John are of Saudi origin… That is, the major refinery in the entire Maritimes is dependant on Saudi oil continuing to flow… I’ll say that again:- THE MAJOR REFINERY IN THE ENTIRE MARITIMES IS DEPENDANT ON SAUDI OIL CONTINUING TO FLOW… So, while Trump has now ordered all restrictions to be lifted for American pipeline development, in any direction or state, here in Canada the chickens are coming home to roost for the criminal years of stalling of Alberta oil being able to get to either coast… Reality is a “bitch” eh???

China is going to be taking Venezuelan synthetic crude and burning it up like crazy.
Meantime our crude will be languishing up in Fort Mac in order to save the planet .
An empty vacant podium for our empty suit PM who gives Canadians the finger just like his Bolshevik father did.

If the Liberals get back in and that’s a big if , they are hoping that there is some kind of world crisis that will cause prices to spike along with their outrageous carbon tax to get Canadian people kind to not be able to afford to drive or a least drive less . But the rich and the Liberal scum will still be flying high on the tax payers dime . But don’t worry you will get your money back just like the billions they have blowin out of the country in the name of climate change . Another climate change coming right around September 21 . I think they call it fall .

The Liberals cannot understand that fossil fuel independence is vital to our northern existence since the foreign imports are not under Canadian control. Look at what is happening in Saudi Arabia with the drone strikes and buying our own oil back from the USA at inflated prices. But Nooo our government creates a new escalating carbon tax on us while other countries create escalating carbon emissions.

I should say, here’s the reason!
commented 2019-09-15 18:20:59 -0400
and you wonder why the liberals are bombarding Canadians and the media with their ‘climate emergency’ propaganda?
Here’s the answer.

Ron Joseph,

I had heard my parents say in Abbotsford that there were more closures. There as well in the north. They are shutting it all down. They make life harder for farmers too so they feel they need to sell out to the bigger corporations. The goal is to control food production as well.

We are in very trying times, and despite my screen name, I’m for all patriots wherever they are. I don’t think any election is going to fix anything, though I would support Bernier. I think we are well past that. There’s a reason they are trying so hard for our firearms too.

We need to do like the folks on that movie, Network. We all must shout at politicians that we’re mad as hell and we aren’t going to take it anymore.

Fort McMurray City Council should sue these liars or at least oppose them to their lying faces. Robbie’s right that we haven’t done a good job in challenging these delusional morons who figure that the oil sands are Mordor. I personally am tired of these childish people and their foreign funders. All they care about is shutting down OUR oil while letting wicked nations sell their’s to us. We conservatives must protest more often too. Sure we work but what about the weekends? Is it really more important to mow the lawn or fight for our jobs and national prosperity?
