VICTORY! Trinity Western’s Christian law school wins in B.C. court — but the fight isn’t over

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Great news in a battle we've been covering since it began: The B.C. Court of Appeals sided with Trinity-Western University in its bid to open a Christian oriented law school. Lawyer John Carpay has worked hard to get the case to this point, and last night we talked about what happened, and where the school goes from here.

Ask yourself, or better yet, ask the Law Society, what their position would be if it was an Islamic law school. Same idea, far more brutal, but if that was the situation we all know what that would sound like….

I’m still struggling to understand why so many western nations have become so rabidly anti-Christian. Islam’s tenets are quite similar (at best) in some ways, but vastly more intolerant in others, yet the media and authorities only persecute (and prosecute) Christians, even when their ‘restrictions’ are generally harmless by comparison. Why is Islam getting a ‘pass’ ?
The Jewish religion sees as much, or more, abuse as Christianity yet it’s Islam that is persecuting both, in some countries to the extent of genocide!

Closer to home, Canada was built on values of good Christians and Jews, and the reason this Law Society has the right to challenge Trinity is because of that fact. If they tried this in any Islamic country, to restrict the rights of Islamic institutions, they would be attacked and quite likely imprisoned or worse.
Is Christianity that bad? Is the Jewish faith so contemptible?
Some of us tire of being the only ‘clubs’ that have no rights to exist. A Christian can be spat on, a Jew can be insulted, and no one bats an eye any longer, but say one inconvenient fact about Islam and you may have to dodge a volley of rocks.
I don’t condemn Athiests or any other belief or faith. Why is it that the respect we show, as Jews or Christians, is no longer returned?

We’ll continue our fight! We Christians has been stepped on because we believe in Love thy neighbours and enemies! But enough is enough with all these bigots and we are fed up! This FEW thought that they just can step on the MANY! Thank you Rebel for fighting what is right, and thank you Mr. Carpay for defending Christians!
