Trudeau dodges Saudi oil question at Regina Town Hall. Here are the facts he missed

Sheila Gunn ReidRebel Host | The Gunn Show

A woman at Trudeau’s Regina town hall tried to stump the chump when she asked, “Why are we buying oil from Saudi Arabia, Mr. Trudeau?”

It’s a good question.

Why is Canada, the country with the third largest oil reserves in the world, still buying oil from Saudi Arabia, a place that routinely hangs gay people and stones women in the streets?

Trudeau never did answer her question. Instead, he scolded her about getting her facts straight before telling her that Quebec doesn’t get oil from Saudi Arabia.

He’s not exactly wrong about Quebec weening itself off conflict oil, but that didn’t happen because of anything Trudeau did.

The credit for that goes to Stephen Harper for reversing the Line 9 pipeline.

Trudeau, while making the point that Quebec is using less conflict oil these days, inadvertently made the Conservative case for expanded pipeline infrastructure as a means to offset foreign imports.

He made the case for the pipeline he killed — Energy East — by answering a question he wasn't asked about Quebec.

The lady in Regina asked him about Saudi Arabia and Trudeau dodged the question.

Today I will tell you all the facts Trudeau didn’t know about how much Saudi oil Canada uses and why.

Trudeau loves to show off as a town hall type guy with nothing to hide, then he dodges questions. Typical hypocrite from the left. All show and no go.

Iron Law of Regulation
There is NO form of market failure, however egregious, which is not made worse by the political interventions intended to fix it.

Hilarious… Paul Martin is laughing at all Canadians… He’s a Lib, and Canada Steamship Lines will continue to make billions off of Saudi Crude… How about those Liberals, eh?

No carbon tax for the 21 billion in imported oil,no gender lens.
The elites own the tankers, flagged in another country and pay no Canadian taxes.
Corrupt to the core.
I do not remember so many Canadians being pissed off with their government ever.
People like myself who have never protested in their life are protesting.
No tankers allowed except into the ST.Lawrence and NB.
Canada needs a power corridor perhaps along the trans Canada highway.
Goods like oil electricity wood etc. should flow freely from province to province with no tax.
Why is it easier to import from another country than from province to province?

The Arab oil monarchies are one of the principal loci of evil and harm in the modern world; and if we really must engage in overseas regime change they should be our prime targets.

Sheila’s argument, however, is basically single ledger protectionism. Central Canada would fire back with: “Why are we importing cars when we could build them all here?”

Play around with the web-page below but it appears Albertans buy 50,000 new vehicles per year that are entirely forged and assembled abroad.

Trudeau AGAIN deflected and got away with it,kudos to SGR for showing this. I would bet the farm that the reason the Irving refinery buys so much ME oil is because they and their corporate friends are invested in that ME oil. I know Power Corporation was heavily invested in the ME as far back as the 1980’s,and had extensive holdings in Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, the main reason Jean Chretien kept Canada out of the first Gulf War.
Everything revolves around money, nothing is done for any other reason. The industrial elite of Canada (Eastern Canada of course) don’t “hate” Alberta as many on the Right claim, they make good profits off business arrangements they have in the ME, so they aren’t about to change their business model to suit their competitors.
Is there any Eastern Canada corporate elite money invested in the oil sands? I would be very surprised if there was a significant amount.

Irving oil buys SA oil for no other reason than they have long term contracts to do so,and are making good profits from it. This will change only on the day SA runs out of oil.

Separation sentiment is on the rise in Alberta. Now during Trudeau’s reign of error a Nationalist leaning party has been elected in Quebec. Voters should ask themselves this.
“Why is it that during times when the Liberals are in power, separatism grows?” When Stephen Harper ran the show separatism waned and we weathered a recession better than any G7 nation. Think of that when you vote in October.

I came across an article in the Financial Post a number of years ago which alluded to the fact that Air Canada exclusively used Saudi refined jet fuel at Toronto Pearson, said product apparently shipped up the St. Lawrence on barges.
The Financial Post was using reliable data only and this was not an editorial or opinion article.
I haven’t been able to find any other information to confirm if this is the case present day , but we should not only concentrate on raw crude imports , but on all foreign oil products that back out our own domestic products and crude oil derivatives.
Regarding Trudeau’s avoidance of questions , the questioners should challenge Trudeau by telling him face to face that we are on to his “bridging” gimmick .

He lies and doesn’t even know it. He answers questions never brought up to him. If it isn’t something he was told to say, he is completely lost, and the video is proof.

He lied to this woman and to the crowd without flinching one bit. His answer to the second part of her question, about sharia and immigration, was also a lie.

Then there was the third part of her question about treason and hanging traitors. Never heard an answer to that.

He is as truthful and “real” as his fake eyebrows, now held in place with a better glue.

He is the. fool on Parliament Hill, and sadly he is our dicktator in waiting, with his state broadcaster dispensing his “truth” and the bought off press. Add to that expecting to know the particulars of our personal banking habits and the CRTC wanting to control Internet journalism, we will be in for a merry old time if this dumber than a rock puppet gets reelected PM.

All hail our fearing leader, Drag Queen Baby Doc and his wife, Princess HasNoBrains.

What happened to the Pie in the face protests? That would be the best weapon against Justin, he would go into a rage because of his Ego. And on the plus side it would be friggin hilarious.

Oh did she ask him what 2 plus 2 is, no wonder he could not answer, he does not know.

Jan G——-Good video, someone in the Opposition finally fighting back for the Cons. If Pierre Poilievre were Leader, I believe they could get 30 Quebec NEW seats.

The CPC Executive office has been mistake prone lately; first with Bernier, then Poilievre and possibly Rempel. They are running out of time to fix things.

Typical. The Groper chastises a citizen for believing lies while lying the whole while. He says we need robust and fact based discussion while trying to silence any opposing views. And Nicholas Conklin approves of this. Go figure.

Billy Howard said, “He’s a liar and needs to be held account.”

That is for sure, but other than being voted out of office I doubt he will be held accountable, unfortunately.
commented 2019-01-14 21:23:43 -0500
Trudeau’s notion of Canada is along the lines of the 1867 borders. You can hear that in his lispy reply to that woman’s simple question. What a clueless fop!

Every day CBC’s esteemed journalists dictate, or rather educates we mental midgets, that there’s lots of fake news out there that people over 65 actually listen to and believe.
commented 2019-01-14 20:54:41 -0500
CBC showed this woman and his answer but they didn’t air her question, only said he answered serious questions.
He thinks he’s a teacher talking to 8 year olds who he can tell them anything and they’ll believe him.

Pierre Poilievre thinks Trudeau’s doing a good job; sinking the ship that is.
(This video has audio for only half the video, but you’ll get the point. He minces no words.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTVrfOd7Xtw&feature=em-uploademail

We’ve got a fake news problem in this country and it is coming from the government. Justin’s indignation is unbelievable hubris. There is confusion in the minds of many Canadians alright and he is the source of it. I guess in Justin’s post truth new world, half truths are really the best we are going to get from him. He has to know we still import Saudi oil, and his very misleading answer to a direct question was less than what we should be able to expect from the people we put into power. Much much less.

-Yes he did also lie about the Sharia law remark, and in his own words said that Islam is ‘not incompatible’ with our culture?

-What also was a lie was when he said Canadians embrace his globalist migration plans (to a Canadian who was saying she didn’t dig it).
Pure fairy tale. Everything out of his gob is subterfuge.
Can’t we ban him for his fake news?

Glad you brought this up good points Sheila.

Trudeau also lied to that woman regarding her 2nd question about him condoning Sharia law. There’s video proof of him saying “Islam is not incompatible with Canadian values” (thanks for the reference from Liza Rosie). Islam IS Sharia and vice versa. He’s playing with words (like replacing Canada with Quebec on the 1st question). He’s a liar and needs to be held account.

Thanks Sheila that’s what I said yesterday about Irving oil using Saudi oil . I wonder how much of that $20 billion we paid was reinvested in building Mosques in Canada . Probably will never know . And just how many migrants does the UN migration pack think Saudi Ariba should take in ?
commented 2019-01-14 19:04:48 -0500
Either Justin is lying or he is stupid … or maybe both.
commented 2019-01-14 19:03:36 -0500
Canada buys Saudi oil because Trudeau has a personal Saudi bank account. He also, most likely, likes being Sheik humped.
