Today, Justin Trudeau announced that his government has re-approved the expansion of the Trans-Mountain pipeline. A project estimated to increase Alberta's export capacity by hundreds of thousands of barrels per day.
But it was just yesterday that Environment Minister Catherine McKenna declared a "national climate emergency". I think the Liberals are talking out of both sides of their mouth, promising more environmentalism to BC and Quebec while approving a pipeline for Alberta.
I asked Justin Trudeau if he'll be prosecuting any illegal pipeline protestors but he just kept walking.
Will the Prime Minister act quickly and decisively to stop activists working against Canada? I'll believe it when I see it.
