This just in: Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is a “liar, hypocrite, white supremacist, and a terrorist.” That according to Black Lives Matter Toronto. Seriously.
Thousands gathered in front of the American Consulate in Toronto to protest President Donald J. Trump’s so-called "Muslim ban."
The demonstration was organized by Black Lives Matter Toronto.
In her short speech, Yusra Khogali, said the following:
"When Justin Trudeau says that he is a liar! He’s a hypocrite! He is a white supremacist! Terrorist! [crowd: shame] That is what he is. Do not be fooled by his liberal bullshit. Do not be fooled.
When [Toronto] Mayor John Tory said that Toronto is a sanctuary for refugees when black people are being murdered in the City?! We have cautions. What happened to Andrew Loko? What happened to Jermaine Carby? What happened to Abdirahman Abdi? How is the City a sanctuary when black people are being murdered so mercilessly? How is the City a sanctuary?
We have to rise up and what? [crowd: "Fight back"]. Rise up and what? [crowd: "Fight back"]. Rise up and what? [crowd: "Fight back"]. Because we will not be moved. We will not be moved. We will not be moved. We are the people. We have the power. Look at us. We have the numbers. We are the people. We have the power. We have the numbers. Don’t you ever forget that! They make us… forget that all the time, but we realize this – when we come together, we can do anything.”
Politicians, community organizers, the media— they’ve all bent like reeds to BLM’s inane claims and demands. And now, it’s beginning to backfire.
Now, BLM’s racist hatred and false worldview is beginning to turn on the Left— and they’re not going to spare anyone, not even Justin Trudeau.
To be sure, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is not a white supremacist. In fact, if anything, the inverse is true.
If anything, Trudeau is a visible-minority supremacist, obsessed with using opportunities like unnecessary cabinet shuffles to virtue signal how race, ethnicity, and gender are more important than merit. Justin Trudeau’s administration has gone above and beyond when it comes to protesting Islamophobia, the very thing Ms. Khogali was so upset about this weekend.
In fact, Trudeau’s administration has said they will do the opposite of President Trump, declaring an open door policy for immigrants and refugees. Recently, a Trudeau MP put forward an anti-free speech motion, to bring the country one step closer to instituting Islamic blasphemy laws.
Trudeau has even reflected on just how lucky he is to have been born a white, straight male.
But that’s the thing: you can’t please these snowflakes. There’s always another way in which they can find themselves offended or oppressed— and, when there’s nothing left— hell, they’ll just make something up. Invent a genocide, or rewrite our country’s history.
Our differences aside, I don’t wish for our Prime Minister or any of his lefty allies to be labeled white supremacists or terrorists, especially when it’s a bloody crock.
But I will say this: Welcome to the club. Baseless accusations of racism are now mainstream.
But guess what? YOU — Justin Trudeau, the political establishment, the mainstream media, academia, and so many figures in popular culture— YOU are to blame.
You have popularized these narratives and weaponized these words. You have taken the Marxist trope of the persecuted proletariat and transformed it into a one-size-fits all lens of victimhood (provided you’re not a white male).
You’ve encouraged the worldview that holds there are only two types of people in this world: the oppressors and the oppressed. You’ve erased the concept of the individual and encouraged people to find their identity, meaning, and mission in life through groups; wherein their membership is based on the colour of their skin, their genitalia, or what sort of plant, animal, or person they sexually fetishize.
You yourself use words like "racist" and "white supremacist" to describe your enemy in hopes of shutting them up.
The political and media establishment have motivated and empowered these groups that now label them the same names they use to describe enemies of the left. And folks should have seen it coming, if only the media bothered to report on who these people are, what they’ve REALLY been up to during their protests.
Canada’s state broadcaster, for instance, was on the ground this past weekend. But they had no mention of how our Prime Minister was called a white supremacist or a terrorist in their reports.
And that’s really the crux of all this.
The reason why my colleagues and I here at The Rebel do not shut up when we’re called names by these now disreputable groups isn’t because we really are who they say we are — it’s because we’re afraid that they really are who they say they are.
The only question is:
How much louder do they have to yell in order for our Prime Minister to hear them?
