Trudeau appoints more partisan hacks: Liberal ties trump “merit”

Brian LilleyArchive

Justin Trudeau loves to say that he and his government appoint people— from judges to the Senate, to the full range of boards and commissions— based on merit.

But if you review the list closely, you quickly realize that the best way to get an appointment from this government is to be a Liberal donor, a Liberal candidate or a washed up Liberal politician.

Watch as I go through just some on the list because I could go on and on and on if I wanted to, but you’ll get the point with just a few.

Trudeau, like he does on so many things, says one thing and does another.

When a political party takes office it’s their right to appoint whomever they see fit to fill the appointments and most of the time those postings will align with the politics of the party in power.

But Trudeau said he wouldn’t do that. He said he would base all his appointments on merit and he isn’t.

It’s another Trudeau lie, another broken promise, and though I shouldn’t be shocked any more, I am.

Suffice to say I appreciate your wet-leg quote from ‘The Outlaw Josey Wales’.

And he will get re-elected because enough spoiled, arrogant, entitled and smug Canadians love him for what he is.

I see another side of this man – a pretty, islamic, left leaning coward who has lived a spoiled, entitled, and smug life.

But one should never blame the leader for what happens – one should blame the voter for allowing it to happen.

Makes one wonder what has happened to the once respected Canada.

While in Spain a few weeks ago I met a couple of Brit military officers to discuss tactical UAV systems – they had nothing but bad things to say about our leader and many Canadians. I think they were surprised that I agreed with them. LOL.

So the word is getting out.

Tru-DOH!!! is a POS.

Best to all.

As I always say, Brian and The Rebel are doing the Oppositions job.
I received a call today from the Conservative Party asking for financial support as Scheer wants to::::-I cut her off saying that Scheer got us supporting the Paris Accord, therefore no more money from me. She apologized and said many members have noted that.
I dislike Trudeau, but Scheer will never beat him.

Don’t go to Canada 150th. CTV said that ISIS has targetted Canada and US after Manchester, with bombs, beheadings, etc..

Why globalist Trudeau chose overrated Irish rockers U2 for Canada Day celebration ?

Well, lemme see, where to start – uh, well, Bono and prince selfie are both narcissistic millionaire Marxists who are obsessed with virtue posing – And they both HATE Alberta – and they both want a post-national borderless global dystopia run by amoral perfidious elites like themselves – likes attract it seems – maybe he’ll get George Soros to speak at the opening ceremonies.

Canada’s first official “post-national” birthday bash

Corruption = Trudeau and his cabinet.
The country of climate change requires an Ambassador, doesn’t it?

Merit based appointments, the Liberals don’t know what this means. I can’t believe the government is pushing this crap and expecting Canadians to forget it!

I wonder if the unicorn puppet will get the next big partisan appointment. At least it would bring intelligence to the civil service.

Speaking of, it is these blatant political appointments of the Lying Party of Corruption that has created the deep state which overtly works against conservative governments. These appointees will appoint their own nepotistic favourites who in turn appoint theirs on down the line into the unionized positions.

My Canada Day decorations are going to include a commode on the lawn with a Canada flag stuck in it upside down, and a sign: ’Trudeau’s Throne’.

Stephen Harper + Donald Trump = what a wonderful world it would be.

How could Andrew Scheer possibly campaign against this? What does he have to offer? Canada is finished.
Oh, and Brian, that movie is becoming one of my favourites, now that I understand what its all about!

Based on merit?

To quote a popular cartoon character, “Good grief!”

Just how stupid does Trudeau think we are?

Trudeau has the IQ of a potted plant and the developmental maturity of a 12 year old boy. You get what you vote for. Why should anybody be surprised when he gives cushy, non-productive, high-paying, virtue-signaling jobs to his friends and supporters? That’s probably what I would do if I was 12 years old and had limitless access to public funds…. If I was 6 or 7 I would probably nationalize all candy stores and ice-cream parlors. Don’t be surprised when the immature act immature… it’s what they do. Just don’t repeat the same mistake twice. We have to make sure he’s voted out in the next election. I just wish we had a better alternative than Andrew Scheer, but I guess we’ve got to play the hand we’re dealt.
