Trudeau downplaying potential security threats, sticking to refugee timeline -- despite European experience

Brian LilleyArchive

The Trudeau government is pushing ahead with their plan to bring 25,000 Syrian refugees to Canada by the end of this year.

Considering the experience of several European countries, and the worsening circumstances they find themselves in, is it not fair to ask whether we're about to bring in huge numbers of terrorists and war criminals along with those refugees? As we may find was the case in the terror attacks that hit Paris today? See for yourself at the France24 website.

Canada’s government seems non-plussed by this possibility. Ralph Goodale and Justin Trudeau say everything will be fine. .

I wish I could believe them that there will be no wolves among the lambs but the facts show otherwise and their lack of concern about this issue leaves me worried, very worried.

The left wing sheep of the nation unelected PM Harper and this second generation Hippie was in the right place at the right time.
He will do nothing militarily just as his Nazi Helmut wearing father did.

Sean, when the Islamic gang rapes begin, the forced female genital mutilation, and honour killings begin, will you still think we are a peaceful nation?

This is one situation where the prospect of being wrong is unacceptable by any modern standard. Being wrong in this instance while overlooking the overwhelming preponderance of evidence should open those approving this course of action to criminal negligence consequences. Improper vetting just cost Paris dearly.

The UN has almost cleared the way for their all out assault on humanity, and any acts of human kindness. So the assaults on Christians, and of course, their favourite, the Jews, will increase. In France, many Jews left after the Hebdo terrorist attack, and now there are increased knife attacks in Israel. Coincidental? I don’t think so, it’s another directive from the UN. They have to divide to conquer. It is their tactic of choice. They used this tactic in our federal election, and have been undermining Harper to the people for almost 10-years, and they will continue to smear Harper forever. They will try to extinguish the spirit of hope, but will fail because the spirit is stronger than evil!

Amy Beaudoin… I agree… I’m afraid it’s far from “naive” – It’s deliberate… The “inmates are indeed running the asylum” from now on until more catastrophic events punch the Western World in the nose… It’s 1938 all over again unless we learn from history and Americans elect a “true American” in November 2016… Canada, I’m afraid, is in for more "Trudeau Times’…

Unemployment rate around 8%
Overtaxed Health Care system
CCP on the verge of bankruptcy
And we are going to expedite possibly 25000 unemployable people a number of which will require Health Care and they will not have contributed one dime to a Pension Plan that they will for sure avail of….And to top it all off there will be without doubt those among this group that use this opportunity to enter Canada to commit/plan/fund Terrorist Acts…
All because the left wing sheep of this country elected this second generation Hippie!

I posted this on the Star:

They removed it

This is a truthful response to the article and I will be curious to see if it stays – the last one was removed.

If Sajjan is a true military man – to quote cbc and ctv – a badass – a hero – and all the things the media made up about him – he knows the dangers and would be doing his best to stop this insanity of importing the Syrians.

And if he fails as an officer who took the oath with NO EXPIRATION DATE – he should go public. THAT would make me respect him.

I think/know he is reveling in his new found power and will do nothing of the sort – proving to me he was not much of a military officer and he is not much of a Canadian. He KNOWS!

He will do nothing. That def min position is TOO nice!

He IS ex military – and if he was an officer of ANY capability – he KNOWS!

Not going to do a thing.

Which in the end will indeed prove my point. If he does – I will publicly take this all back.

You just watch and see.

We should be worried. I have come to learn with this government when they tell us not to worry, be worried. You can’t trust this government. There is an ulterior motive to why they want to bring in 25K “refugees”. Maybe, to win the immigrant vote, but I think it has something to do with if we play nice with ISIS they won’t hurt us. Very naive, because doesn’t matter if your nice or not, they are coming for us. It’s just a question of it’s going to be before Christmas or after.

“Prime Minister Gerald Butts”…. In that “reality” is buried the whole insanity of what will ensue in the coming months and years in Canada… As a teenager, I remember my Eastern European-born parents and relatives sitting around the cottage campfire reminiscing about their feelings of dread during 1938… But:- “It can’t happen!… It’s going to be all right!…” Well; as we now know – IT DID HAPPEN

If Trudeau stands up to these people, and they kill him for it, I will be upset about his death, and so will many others. But until he proves that he’s anything more than a selfie-taking puppet, I’ll pray for peace and prepare for war.

I don’t care if its “legal” to fund terrorists, and bring them here, and tax us for fraudulent environmental cults… It is not fucking Lawful, as in Natural Law. Enough of this shit. Follow the Law. No more “moderates”, no more “refugees”, no more “humanitarian aid”, no more foreign coups.

Where the hell is Trudeau? That asshole needs to get on TV and stop all this shit now. You hear me you coward??? GET ON TV, STOP THIS SHIT NOW BEFORE ITS TOO DAMN LATE.

While I don’t doubt he would press ahead regardless, I doubt that Prime Minister Gerald Butts could ever conceive himself capable of making an error in judgement.

I think there is a form of “modern Islam” perhaps, where non-literal interpretations are taken, but the ones funded by governments has not been it, anything but “moderate”.

The Hungarian PM is correct, this “refugee” wave is a globalist coup, we are headed toward the big one. Le Pen arrested in France. What happened in Paris is now being blamed on Assad, despite these being globalist Syrian “refugees”. I warned on this exact type shit two years ago, disgusts me to see it happening.

Get ready for this insanity to be turned hot soon. Where is hippie Trudeau to tell them to stop? All the self-stylized peaceniks are too busy on their Facebook to care about this massive war that’s about to be started.

Its almost like no one gives a shit anymore, do you people want a future?

Oh the irony.
The Election, the Attack; three weeks either way and the Lieberals would now be an extinct party. The CBC would be gone. You wouldn’t know if Fife had teeth or not, Don Martin would actually be skinny [even on wide screen]. But no… fate has thrown us an ugly turn of events. So here it comes [dis] proportional representation, Human induced climate change acceptance [Carbon Tax], Gun Control so the State Stazi won’t have to worry about the citizenry, Union funded elections and on it goes; when will it end? The word ‘coup’ comes to mind but that won’t happen. What does it take to start the revolution against this Social engineering attack by these Elitists and their fawning Moonbats?
The abdication of the safety and security of our country and it’s citizens is a treasonable act!
Protect your legacy Trudeau…Resign!

DONALD GUTTORMSON doubt even that would do it. Sean would want to stay calm and ask them why they felt so excluded, give them a big hug and tuck them into bed. Canadian deaths mean nothing to him HE DOESNT CARE AND NEITHER DO THE REST OF THE PROGRESSIVE LIBERALS.

This country has never been more divided, this will be the end of canada, Ont and que will get what ever they want because he needs the votes, The maritimes can just sit happily and drink uo all the sewage quebec is dumping there way, they seem to love BS from quebec they voted another one in for PM so enjoy all the fresh water the enviros are sending your way. Never was a paul martin fan but he far exceeds JT at least he was a successful buisness man and knew finances. He was also not about to sell us down the road for a bunch of foriegn funded special interest groups. Next up gun control, and complete destruction of alberta oil industry, all the while folating opec oil down the st lawrence to quebec. One wonders whats after those two things oh ya huge taxes billions more for outr kids to pay off, and more terrorists imported into he country free medical free dental, no need to work everything is free just vote liberal, He is setting up our kids to have to fight a war here in canada, his kids no chance they will be like him whisked away in a private jet to another country. Ours they will have to fight islam here in out cities because he is importing them by the thousands. France yes we have your back , just not with our military or airforce, but he will send you a sunny ways poster and a supportive politically correct email.

From Daniel Pipes:

In addition to the over 27,000 attacks globally connected to Islam since 9/11, or more than 5 per day (as counted by, a huge increase in illegal immigration from the Middle East recently exacerbated feelings of vulnerability and fear. It’s a one-way street, with not a single soul ever heard to announce, “I used to worry about Islamism but I don’t any more.”…
…when it comes to the Establishment – politicians, the police, the press, and the professors – the unrelenting violence has a contrary effect. Those charged with interpreting the attacks live in a bubble of public denial (what they say privately is another matter) in which they feel compelled to pretend that Islam has no role in the violence, out of concern that to recognize it would cause even more problems.

These 4-P professionals bald-facedly feign belief in a mysterious “violent extremist” virus that seems to afflict only Muslims, prompting them to engage in random acts of barbaric violence. Of the many preposterous statements by politicians, my all-time favorite is what Howard Dean, the former governor of Vermont, said about the Charlie Hebdo jihadis: “They’re about as Muslim as I am.”

This defiance of common sense has survived each atrocity and I predict that it will also outlast the Paris massacre. Only a truly massive loss of life, perhaps in the hundreds of thousands, will force the professionals to back off their deeply ingrained pattern of denying an Islamic component in the spate of attacks…"
