Trudeau goes to China and Canada gets embarrassed

Brian LilleyArchive

Trudeau’s much ballyhooed trip to China is a failure if you gauge it by actual results versus the number of flattering selfies and photo ops that the Media Party will be excitedly reporting.

On the trade file, was Trudeau able to increase Canada’s opportunities in China? Not really. He didn’t come out much further ahead than the cautious Harper.

In the case of one of the major irritants between Canada and China, Trudeau simply punted the problem of canola down the road because the Chinese Premier didn’t want to talk about it.

Trudeau did raise the issue of human rights while also feeling the need to say Canada’s record isn’t perfect either. Apparently, China’s state run media thinks we have improvements to make ourselves and that’s good enough to silence Justin on the issue.

Is this the re-set in relations Justin said he was going to bring about?

Oh the Chinese print media is so right. The maggot TURDeau should talk about human rights in his own country, where all rights are given to moslem bastards coming into our country and no rghts are given to Canadians.Too bad maggot, the Chinese print media probably already know about your bowing down to statn’s moslem bastards…

I wish that Juthtin would take advice from people smarter than he.

I’m so proud to see him turn our country’s economy on a dime! Thank you, China, for being the role-model for Justin!

Canola, formerly known in less politically correct times as rape seed, is an important import by China. Simple: agree to impose a tariff on what is sent to China and then have the sellers add that tariff to the selling price for the buyers to pay. Chinese will then complain about the increased cost, and let it be the problem of the Chinese government to negotiate. They really don’t have another source for canola, and their own production is not sufficient.

Its a bluff by China. Its too important an import for the market to go cold turkey on them. There will be a lot of angry Chinese and that government doesn’t want anyone raising up their head, especially in great numbers.

Baby Doc was so far out of his league that he could be on Alpha Centauri and the Chinese wouldn’t miss him.

Meanwhile, another photo op for Baby Doc and his wife Princess Hanobrains. We got off light this trip. Only a promise to increase the number of Chinese coming to Canada (and as usual on our dime). No large donation to China (that we know of) and his children, as did he at the knee of Papa Doc, are getting to meet lots of foreign dictatorships whom they will call friends when it is their turn to become king or queen.

We are so doomed and in so may ways.

Justin Trudeau is only a sock puppet for his global masters… If Justin Trudeau’s policies do not make sense and they do nothing but encumber Canadian citizens it is because that is at the request of the globalist elite that he thinks that he is in
League with.
The funny thing is when they are done with this useful idiot they will throw him back to us for entertainment or distraction.

The main intent of this trip was to sell out Canada to the Chinese! “Little Potato” (Chinese Internet dubbed him this) continued with his narcissistic agenda – photo ops, selfies, etc. As Brian has stated, absolutely nothing different was accomplished! In fact, China had the audacity to criticize Canada’s human rights record. That says it all!

As well, if you read the Globe and Mail article, it pinpoints the “REAL” reason for the trip – to buy the Chinese vote. Apparently, voters of Chinese origin did not buy into the Liberal claptrap in the last election, so this was a “fact-finding” trip to try and discover the “root” causes for this.

Also, what will be the long-term impact if Canada does join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank? Even the USA is against joining this bank. Will we be trading in the yuan before too long? Prospects for the Chinese currency do not look promising on the world market. When the Chinese currency weakens, so do other currencies.

Keith and Helen…..BEST comment I have seen in a long time and so, so true. Disturbs me to hear some people say that TruDOPE is doing a great job, AND they believe it. So many uninformed, misguided people in this country. I HATE to think what Canada will look like in another 20 years….hope I am not around to see it.

This is serious, and this idiot doesn’t realize what the hell he’s dealing with. With Trudeau and his useless entourage making trade deals we are finished on the world stage. He thinks this is in the same domain as when he’s giving our money away at the climate change convention, that he’s mister centre of attention. And the Chinese are looking at him as a hopeless slug. He’s a chip off the old block, his old man was very adept at embarrassing Canada to the world. This is just the start of our nation crumbling under the weight of Trudeau’s stupidity. And there isn’t one patriot in the Liberal Party strong enough to take the wheel from him and end our pain. What I don’t understand is this. How is it we are suffering a Liberal Dictatorship being led by, probably the weakest leader Canada has ever had ? And I have said this before, just when all these problems in the world are happening at the same time, just when we need a strong leader. A leader to navigate us through global economic uncertainty, an energy crisis, globalist take over, terrorism, immigration reform, etc. We end up with this immature, irresponsible, elitist, arrogant, spoon fed, spoiled, privileged brat that lives in a fantasy world determining our future. As they say, “You Can’t Make This Stuff Up”. Every time this guy steps out, we lose more of Canada.

Sean Penson: Much got accomplished? Like what, may I ask? Canola was off the table because the Premier did not want to talk about it………Human Rights, again nothing gained there & Trudeau like Obama was apologizing………Free Trade, not even close, so all Trudeau & his entourage went there for was another vacation & more spending & why may I ask did his young daughter go on that trip for? Milking the taxpayer for everything they can get free.

I can just hear them after Justin left-“We will own his country when he is done with it.”
commented 2016-08-31 23:46:21 -0400
Bill Elder: Canola is grown big time in Manitoba as well. I am surrounded here by it. Fields & fields of the yellow stuff, which they were combining all evening yesterday, late into the night. Beautiful sight, three combines going.

Well, it’s not surprising, Trudeau continually bows down & caves in to Muslim sharia law, so he does the same with the Chinese, because he’s way over his head with his new job & he has no backbone. After all did he not say that he admired China?

Premier Li Keqiang to advisor : Pst… 闪亮的小马将是一个简单的触摸。

Prime Minister Trudeau : Pardon me Premier?

Premier Li Keqiang : Um, ah… the people of China look forward to a shiny future with the people of Canada.

Prime Minister Trudeau : The people of Canada share this shiny vision.

Chinese delegation : Pfffffft…snicker.

So when referring to our own human rights issues to resolve … what exactly is that? I am uncertain … unless they are referring to how the Gov’t is disregarding/ignoring and using it’s own citizens to support a very large group of unemployable immigrants for voting purposes to maintain power.

China will wrangle a very advantageous deal for our energy resources ,coal and oil , and it won’t be shipped from the east coast , this will be interesting to watch develop

Let’s face it , China and other countries want our natural resources, especially coal , oil and natural gas , this is of course after a N E B take over of provincial natural resources

The food trade should be band from China. The next time you go to the market check what country your food is coming from fish from China what is wrong with Canadian fish REBELS don’t buy fish from these countries India, Viet Nam, China, for your own safety only buy fish from Canadian or American or other NAFTA countries or EU. countries. Just because relish is 49 cents cheaper from India why would you buy it don’t we produce relish.
if you want to support hezbollah and al-qaeda buy sharia foods if you want to keep Canada prosperous buy Canadian
