Trudeau joins Coderre in his war against the west. But we're fighting back

Ezra LevantRebel Commander

Last week we told you about the Liberal Mayor of Montreal, Denis Coderre, attacking the proposed Energy East pipeline.

This morning Justin Trudeau met with Coderre and doubled down. He announced that not just the pipelines, but the entire oilsands, will now be judged by UN-style global warming standards! (Not OPEC oil, of course, just Alberta oil.)

So any proposed pipeline can be safe and environmentally friendly -- but it will still be blocked, because the Liberals don’t like the oilsands. This means the whole National Energy Board hearings are a game.

But the Rebel is fighting back.

We've already unveiled CutThemOff.ca, our campaign to tell Canadian politicians who are anti-oil that their transfer payments will be cut off. But now we have to redouble our efforts.

We have to send a message to Quebec.

So we're going to do it in French...

WATCH and I'll tell you about this ALL-NEW phase in the CutThemOff.ca campaign, and the many ways YOU can be part of it.

THEN my favourite Quebec commentator, Eric Duhaime, comes on to tell us what's really going on with Denis Coderre, and why there still might be hope for Quebec.

For instance, two Quebec mayors just came out in favour of the pipeline!

NEXT: Former Finance Minister Joe Oliver is back, this time to talks about the serious problems with Justin Trudeau's electoral reform plan.

FINALLY: Your letters to me! Positive or negative, I read them and respond. Remember: You can always leave your comments below!

Trudough believes that all Quebecers are better than any other Canadian. You have that to work with going in. Saskatchewan and Alberta should stop all transfer payments to the federal government and use that money to benefit their provinces. Of course we all know the Feds can print money. They would simply go more into debt paying welfare to Quebec. So, if that doesn’t work, stop all of the cargo going east and west through their provinces. Do you think the BC premier would be squawking if Alberta and Saskatchewan stopped each and every bit of cargo that came from there under the guise health and safety and environment ? The same for the provinces east ? Alberta and Saskatchewan should start playing hardball. Each province has their own legal products to sell. No province should not have the right to block any other province’s legal wares. If that is the case, why have the confederation of Canada in the first place.

Hey PENSON – there’s very little OIL in BC by comparison, they’re not really a player, though having said that, many jobs in northern BC are dependent on oil & gas jobs bled over from Alberta— I wonder if those are the people for whom you speak and whether they agree with you? Or perhaps you speak for those on the coast: why don’t you insist on shutting down the Transmountain Pipeline in Burnaby ? I’m sure they’d love to lose their jobs for you’re idiotic carbon hysteria that has ironically allowed to spew your eco-nuttery on your hydrocarbon-based computer from your hydrocarbon based life, on the hydrocarbon-based and powered internet, while you sit on your hydrocarbon-laden chair, in your hydrocarbon-laden clothes, bitching about hydrocarbons like an ignoramus.

Sean Penson bleated: “There is NO war on the west. BC is further west than Alberta, and we certainly as hell do not want any of their resources destroying our pristine supernatural beauty.” Really?? Like the “supernatural” St Lawrence Seaway with all that Montreal raw sewage bubbling through it!

Liberal leader Gerald Butts exerting policy against Western Canada!

Ok Ezra, here is the deal breaker. If Codere says he won’t allow an oil pipeline through Quebec because it may cause damage to the environment, then the rest of Canada demands that Bombadier be shut down for all the damage their products do to the environment, as well as cutoff all government funding to Bombadier.

I think you’re getting ahead of yourself as this isn’t an indicator of Trudeau hating the west . ( not that he does ) I agree with David tremblay ’s comment on there needing to be a proper environmental assessment . The pipe line plan may still be in need or revisions . Also when it comes to canadian oil related matters, why are you just focusing on Trudeau . What about trump as his decisions can affect Canada if he becomes president?

The best way to fight back, stop the plunder of the west and attack on our economy is to get behind independence.

Negotiations 101. Once Coderre and the others mayors are appropriately “greased”, tolls are established for the oil flow, and increased transfer payments from Alberta to Quebec are set, the pipeline will go through no sweat.

Hey Ezra,
It’s exciting to hear about the billboards and radio ads that will be coming soon.

Hopefully you’re not exposed to the same censorship that Friends Of Science has been, by Advertising Standards Canada; which shows that the Irrationals would rather censor than debate. They truly are the “Dark Side.” :)

According to the humanist/atheist mindset, man is the measure of all things, becomes his own god. Talk about a “false idle”, er idol! We have seen that false idol at work with the atrocities committed by the godless totalitarian regimes in the last century. Some people think they are pretty smart and yet they cannot “except”, er accept, the truth.

And here’s Trudeau defending Canada’s oil outside of Canada and for the media party.
http://news.nationalpost.com/news/canada/justin-trudeau-urged-leonardo-dicaprio-to-tone-down-criticism-of-canadian-oil-sands-source-says

And then Trudeau partners with his other bosses’ worker, in this case Coderre, to do the opposite – attack oil.

And those bosses are?? Well those scum sucking Demarais and Dussault families.

BTW, the pipeline to the east coast could easily be re-routed through Vermont and Maine.

Nobody really hates the west, they just simply want a proper environmental impact assessment done. Once this is done then your magic pipeline will be built. It only took Trudeau an hour to negotiate this and your supreme leader Harper wouldnt even talk to them. If there is anybody that hates the west it is only because of the arrogance of Harper.

Ezra, Quebec is sitting on 16 trillion cubic meters of natural gas but refuses to frack for it. Not for environmental reasons, but because, as the PQ have said (and apparently believed by the Quebec Liberal Party) Quebec doesn’t want to share its wealth with Canada. On the other hand, Quebec keeps demanding larger transfer payments to pay for all the missteps of consecutive provincial governments and Cadillac social programs.

As a Quebecer I have always been distressed by Quebec government demands, and the outrage Quebec goes into when anyone points out that the government has no clothes. I’m moving to Ontario, but seriously, are Wynn and the Ontario Liberals much better?

It is important for the west to have a voice, and not get ignored or preyed upon by the east. The sad truth is, the only real currency the east possesses is voting numbers that favour the left wing. Unfortunately, this results in lots of people in backwards provinces expecting the fewer people in the west to bail them out.

It is depressing to see Saskatchewan get its act together, only to get robbed by equalization payments, and to have the ingrate mayor bite the hand that feeds Quebec.

According to an article in the National Post, Trudough can’t change the election process. That it would in fact, require a change in Constitution, and wouldn’t pass muster! I guess time will tell.

Great Show Ezra, the best one yet, Congrat’s.

Trudeau only has one agenda and that is to destroy Canada and he will, unless we destroy him first. Without bloodshed, of course.☻☻☻

There is NO war on the west. BC is further west than Alberta, and we certainly as hell do not want any of their resources destroying our pristine supernatural beauty. I’m proud of M. Coderre standing up against the Alberta carbon bullies!

Watching the press conference with the prime minister of Canada on one side and Coderre on the other side, a mayor of a Canadian city, as if he was a head of state, and the prime minister appeasing him was most bizarre!

Great work Ezra and Co.
Thanks for all you do.
I noticed Trudeau took another shot at his predecessor again when speaking with Coderre. Someone forgot to teach their poster boy, public speaking 101. Man this dude is a weak leader.
commented 2016-01-27 00:46:36 -0500
Ezra this yet again, is another “great show”. There is one thing I noticed on the show though.
When you were talking with the finance minister and discussing the voting possible changes that are going to take place, from what I am understanding. Is no one has any clue on what changes are going to take place…. Now you a smart man and so is the finance minister Joe Oliver. But if we are going to discuss something. Shouldn’t we have a stronger topic? If we really don’t know what Mick Jagger’s kid is going to with the voting system? Then we shouldn’t be getting everyone excited and or nervous. Because of your show, and the way the Liberals do their crazy politics I am completely nervous now.
So Ezra is their any way you could really start pulling some of your high contacts and track down the rumors in Ottawa and redo the show in about two weeks if possible.

Ive completely stopped buying anything that i know was produced or made from eastern Canada. Seen other posters saying the same thing, total boycott.
commented 2016-01-27 00:22:20 -0500
I’m mad as hell Ezra. CUT THEM OFF….CUT THEM OFF….CUT THEM OFF.
Also I would like to whack that perpetual smirk on Notley’s face. This is so maddening, keep biting the hand that feeds them is what these hypocrites like Coderre are doing. AB & SASK, stand up for yourselves, show some backbone for what you believe in. I am so sick of this back & forth reviews & studies & carbon footprint crap Bla, Bla Bla & it never stops that doesn’t solve anything & all it’s doing is polarizing Canada.
BTW, Did anyone else notice in between the hms & ers & ahs in Trudeau’s comments the look on his face when Coderre started to speak? Interesting I thought.

I think the billboards and radio ads are a great idea. There are too many people who have passively taken in the codswallop dished out by the likes of the CBC without any discernment. The uninformed and ill-informed need a little re-educating. Its time for conservatives to take off the gloves and do more than just hope common sense will prevail. Action is required. These pipeline haters need a reality check.
commented 2016-01-26 23:52:07 -0500
I’m with you Ezra. let’s let them have it. Tired of the abuse.

It i sokay for Montreal to dump millions of garbage in the St. Lawrence river, but not pipeline to put food on the table for families? Hope the St. Lawrence river will take its revenge on Montreal. stranger things have happened.

Time for the west to leave this corrupt eastern mafia and leave the east to fend for itself in squalor and poverty.

Alberta needs jobs now..!!. We can create many new jobs immediately by building THE WALL. Invite any province west of Manitoba to join us in our venture. I will give up my job to shovel dirt and push a wheelbarrow for the sake of the WEST. Rick Mercer’s Energy East rant was the only CBC show worth watching in the last 30 years…..Cut those bums off too. BTW Rebel if I could donate I would but mortgage not getting paid now thanks to Turdeau and his St Lawrence shitway cronies. ….Therefore I can only help with labour at this point in my life

Alberta needs to have a referendum & leave.
