Trudeau Junior on track to return us to structural deficits not seen since days of Papa Trudeau

Brian LilleyArchive

We’ve known for a while now that the Liberals were going to shoot past their promise of holding deficits down to $10B per year for three years. Just three wafer thin deficits they said, but we knew better.

Now it’s looking even bigger and Finance Minister Bill Morneau confirms they have no intention of meeting their election promise.

Morneau answered with political speak of course which requires a translator but essentially he means “we’re not going to be able to balance the budget”.

Regardless of what they say, this is a government that inherited a surplus and had they done nothing at all, they would have had a small deficit.

Instead, we’re going to have a massive deficit and it’s only going to get bigger.

And it’s going to get bigger so Justin Trudeau and the Liberals can repay all who helped get them elected.

Those people are going to be feeding at the trough for a long time and the rest of us are going to be paying for it.

Trudeau has made too many promises to too many people and too many special interest groups and that’s bad news for the rest of us.

Oh my! You don’t say. We have not even recovered from PETs spending and now here comes Junior. Who woulda thunk that a man of Justin Trudeau’s upbringing would not understand fiscal restraint?

He admires China’s government and calls Fidel Castro “Uncle Fidel”. I wouldn’t even had to have survived his father’s follies and skeevy friends to know that Justin Trudeau started the election campaign as leader of the third party, and rightfully should have ended election day in the same spot.

38% voted legal weed and freebies for all. Everyone one else voted “Oh Gawd, anyone but him”.

Time for a two party system? It could be,because lately I’ve been voting against a party, instead of voting for a party. I’m probably not alone.

Thank you. Somebody needed to refresh our memory……I just hope we are not to late to actually have the vast majority WTFU and start doing something about it.

It’s only been a few months and it’s turning out to be even worse than I thought it would be. It will only be to the Conservatives advantage if he runs the deficit up and doesn’t pay it down by the next election as along with higher taxes and pension schemes Canadians should be fed up enough to vote them out of office.

I really believe that signing and sending Petitions to the Government with hopes of influencing their decisions, is a strategy that has no value in the current National political environment in Canada. The Government’s apparent plan of action is to ignore public involvement or opinion, to import and/or buy large blocks of voters to ensure a Liberal vote, to manipulate and distort fact through an ignorant and deceitful News Media, and to continuously blame others for any problem they face or cannot resolve.
As the boy said, this is 2015 (now 2016) and a different means to influence Government policy/decisions needs to be developed and quickly implemented. I wish I knew what.

You forgot to add on infrastructure expenses to those 400 mirrors—spray cleaner bottels and wipes not mention 400 combs and brushes and waste baskets at each mirror station .

But the budget is supposed to balance itself…Junior said so. Hahaha!

“I knew if Trudie got elected it would be worse than his oldman, Iv’e dreaded his coming and now here we are. I had no doubt in my mind that this idiot would lead us “Into the Valley of Death” with a smile on his face. I do not understand why Canadians did not see what I seen in him and ended up voting him in. …. This guy is a child with the highest job in the land, who is going to do damage the likes of which we cannot comprehend. "

Some of us remember the past Trudeaumania, the younger generations have no knowledge of it except the glorified hype invented by CBC. History teaches much but the problem is that too many are simply too busy with their life so ignore most things until it is too late, they do not bother to inform themselves. Some simply do not care.

You can easily find this info on the net but few bother:
Pierre admired Hitler and Mussolini, Fidel was a friend of the family. Junior has made public reference that he admires China’s dictatorship and stated that Honour killings shouldn’t be called “barbaric”. His brother Alexandre Emmanuel “Sacha” Trudeau makes films. He made an anti-American movie – Embedded in Baghdad. He made an anti-Israel movie -The Fence. The latest – The New Great Game is about Iran’s decision to defy America and Israel. Online you can view photos of Pierre and Fidel – friend of the family – For the Toronto Star Sacha wrote a lengthy article – quote from the article, “I grew up knowing that Fidel Castro had a special place among my family’s friends.” Junior also surrounds himself with friends and advisors such Omar Alghabra – Saudi-born former president of the Canadian Arab Federation. Alghabra happens to have extreme views. When he was president of the Canadian Arab Federation in 2004, he denounced Canada’s largest newspaper chain for using the term “terrorist” to describe Muslim terrorist groups like the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. Alghabra wrote a letter to Toronto’s police chief in 2005 condemning the chief for participating in a charity walk for Israel, saying Israel was “conducting a brutal and the longest contemporary military occupation in the world.” In a letter to a journalist, he wrote the chief’s visit to Israel was comparable to visiting Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship. When arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat died, Alghabra put out a press release announcing he was mourning for him. When Canada was setting up a no-fly list for passengers considered security threats, Alghabra opposed it. When Ontario rejected adopting shariah law Alghabra was disappointed, calling it “unfortunate.” Then there is Justin Trudeau’s right hand man Gerald Butts – Since Trudeau was elected Liberal leader in 2013, Butts has shaped and branded the vast majority of policy. Butts is also Trudeau’s closest friend since their days together at McGill University, a fact that has informed and influenced their political relationship. Let us not forget Liberal cronyism – Peggy Butts, heavily influenced Gerald’s politics, (she was appointed to the Canadian Senate by former prime minister Jean Chrétien). There is much more but I tire of writing so end this post with one last thought:

“I do not understand why Canadians did not see what I seen in him and ended up voting him in”
Why? Because many chose to remain uninformed.

SHARON MOORE.. You can dream indeed… But, financial reality will prevail, always has!, sooner or later, the Boy Blunder’s good hair and butt-kissing national media notwithstanding… Greece and Venezuela being the prime examples… Notley is tanking fast in Alberta, and rightly so, while Winnie The Poo has balked on her provincial pension plan in Ontario because the “boys on Bay Street” have told her she’s “going down” if she persists… So big “hiccups” for those that are listening… Boy Blunder, I’m afraid, is NOT

I had no doubt in my mind that this idiot would lead us “Into the Valley of Death” with a smile on his face. I do not understand why Canadians did not see what I seen in him and ended up voting him in. He gives the same answers to everything, usually about working hard and engaging everyone, which really means he’s increasing our debt by giving more of our money away to people I wouldn’t trust to hold my hat while I changed their flat tire. This guy is a child with the highest job in the land, who is going to do damage the likes of which we cannot comprehend. Taxes, debt, loss of jobs, failing economy, loss of international friends, price increases, these are a few of the things we can expect in addition to the traditional Liberal lies and abuses. Goodbye freedom.

“The budget will balance itself” don’t you know, & he still gets elected. A while back on this site, I mentioned a rise in the GST was lurking around the corner & how could it not with Trudeau spending like there’s no tomorrow. He hasn’t stopped handing out money since he was elected & not to mention all the money spent on airfare for him & cabinet to fly all over the globe nonstop…..disgusting…I wouldn’t mind so much if something positive came out of all that but every day, in the paper, on The Rebel, etc it’s all negative with nothing positive in sight I’m afraid & that is why you must all sign that petition to have Trudeau removed from office before he destroys everything

James. Thanks for the book titles.
Tru-dough has never even read the Charter. He actually thought that “the right to an abortion” was in there someplace! I think party leaders should have to pass a basic exam on the Charter and Cdn History in order to run for office. It would have kept this foolish man-child out!!

I can only hope that Harper is keeping his seat in order to stage a comeback.
If Trudeau manages to bring this country to the brink of disaster, which he is well on his way to doing, I think it can be done.
I can dream, can’t I?

The other day I had a conversation with a woman from Toronto who was adamant that there was no way that the combined debt of Canada and the provinces was in the trillions. She (smugly) knew how much the US owes, but not her own country. She also sneered at the financial difficulties Alberta was having and said that now Ontario was going to have to support the West. Trying to suppress my laughter, I told her that Ontario has been a have not province for some time now (thanks Dalton and Kathleen), just like Quebec is and that Ontario is the most indebted sub sovereign state in the world and that she better hope that oil makes a rebound so Alberta and Saskatchewan can recover so they can pay her province’s bills. I told her we owe just over 300 billion, around 150 billion short of what Greece owes with a similar population count. .She still didn’t believe me, laughed at me, so I told her to google it.

Next day she tells me I was right. Duh. She voted Liberal. I recommended that the next time she votes she should vote Conservative because someone has to clean up this mess and it’s going to take around ten years of austerity measures to do it. THIS is the kind of low info voter who put morons like Wynne and Trudeau in. Scary, isn’t it?

Who voted Liberal , what does this party stand for, who voted for Trudeau part 2… mmm?

Just a little backgrounder, to gain some perspective… Liberals – This is the party of massive government growth and debt under Trudeau part 1 (daddy), Lalonde, changing our banking system, the way we borrow money and from whom, the party of forcing a new flag on the nation, forcing bilingualism (French) on the country while allowing English to be banned (allowing bills 22, 178, 101…) in Quebec, forcing multiculturalism, renaming our founding constitution the BNA act and forcing a french style charter upon the country signed only by people from Quebec (Trudeau, Ouellette, Chretien)… The party of adscam, the funneling of millions into Quebec, Shawingate, hotel burning, contracts on napkins, cash changing hands in brown paper envelopes in Quebec restaurants, the party of the most corrupt, slimy, sleazy province in the country ( see MacLean’s magazine, Quebec corruption), where mayors all across the province are being charged with corruption, fraud, money laundering, bribery… ongoing trials as we speak, the party of equalization (the stealing of your money and funneling billions into Quebec, every year for over 50 years now with no change in sight …), the stealing of farm land (Read – The tragedy of Quebec)…I could go on for hours with facts…the Liberal party of Canada has a long , long history, a pattern of greed, slime, deception and corruption dating back to the 1960s.

Please, don’t believe me, please, go read a few books, just a few, try to keep an open mind, try to learn something new. Read – 1 – The monstrous trick, 2 – His pride, our fall, 3 – Enough, 4 – Bilingual today, French tomorrow, 5 – The tragedy of Quebec, 6 – Conning the Canadians, 7 – Conspiracy of two, just to name a few.

This IS the party of massive government growth, permanent deficits (daddy), high greedy public sector salaries, pensions, bonuses (see Sunshine list)…, high taxes, and massive debt levels. Now, you see who voted for this party? What does this really say about Canadians? See how corrupt, crooked, and greedy the people of Canada really are. These people are your neighbors, nice eh?

Yep this is what 39% of the population just voted for. A p/t drama teacher and ski instructor. I can’t make this stuff up…lol , Nice eh, this clown is going to run the country…lollllllllllllllll. Hide your wallets, bury your money, empty your band accounts, they are coming for it ASAP. Get ready for it, higher taxes, more debt, bigger government, more government intrusion into your lives, more big union, public sector greed.

Canadian’s, well, not too bright at all, that’s what you have in Canada folks, all over the place. On the surface, they seem polite, but just a really good front, in reality they redefine the words self-absorbed, greedy and phony as they come. Just try reducing things in government and watch the reaction, anger, strikes, and threats from these public sector parasites. And please don’t believe me, go take a look at the record debt levels, federally and provincially, all over the country. A nightmare for your children and your grandchildren. See what these people don’t realize is someone has to pay this off.

Be very careful when you walk out the door folks, remember, you are surrounded by these parasites.

There were so many SMART, big and small ways that the conservative Gov’t cut spending. IE: going to a shorter version of the censes. Surprising that Trudeau JR reversed that within his first 2 weeks in office. Since it was Trudeau SR that stated…. “the gov’t has no business in the bedrooms of Canadaians!” Just one of many examples of how a Liberal Gov’t wastes tax payers money.

Well, Canadians tired of boring balanced budgets, didn’t the? They rejected fiscal restraint and opted for massive spending, regardless of consequence. Canada opted for change, and that’s what they get 🇨🇦

The real problem with this is that governments almost never pay down the principle. They will claim that they are lowering the debt/GDP ratio because the GDP is growing faster than the debt. This is of no real value because interest payments as a percentage of government spending keep rising, leaving less to spend on government programs.
