Trudeau Liberals punish Saskatchewan with federal carbon tax

Brian LilleyArchive

Justin Trudeau and his Liberals are attacking Western Canada once again, this time by forcing a carbon tax on Saskatchewan.

Environment Minister Catherine McKenna announced the Feds' national carbon tax and it is nothing but an attack on Brad Wall and his province.

The announcement comes in the same week the Liberals began talking about moving the National Energy Board out of Calgary and putting it, or its replacement in Ottawa.

It looks like the Feds and Saskatchewan are dug in, and this will end up in court.

As an aside:
I just noticed an ad above, under: ‘You May Like’, that had a picture of Soros with the caption, “20 of The World’s Greatest Philanthropists”
No I didn’t click on that evil MF’s face…

Andrew: you just made my job a lot easier. Thanks for revealing your location and provincial connection. I, too, come from Saskatchewan. However, I remember the past, I think a bit better than you. I also think I’ve got a bit of a better handle on current political realities than you. Your rhetoric is pretty much boilerplate NDP attack ad script, and it’s pretty much all bullshit. You talk about inflows and outflows, but we’re sitting at better than 1.1 million people, over a hundred thousand better in less than a decade of Wall compared to generations of NDP sufferage. And nobody’s leaving yet, despite the oil prices, despite the potash collapse, despite a difficult year in ag. So, keep on pointing to meaningless stats, we all can see outside our own living room windows how good things are under Wall. You say our crowns make us special, well, I gotta agree with you on that. But I think I’ll disagree on the definition of “special”. You say his party’s getting aged; after what, a DECADE? You claim he’s cornered and try to make it sound like he’s desperate but he’s still the most popular provincial politician of any stripe, anywhere in the whole freaking country! I wish he’d drop another election on your left wing asses today, prove ONCE AGAIN that the NDP is finished in Saskatchewan.
So. Got anything else? Because what you’ve had so far sucked.

Her first line, the first thing out of her mouth and the justification for everything that follows: “Canada needs a price on carbon”. Why?

Hey. Didn’t Jihadi Justin tell an Ontario Mom he could not interfere in provincial matters before committing to shut down the Oil Sands? Interesting he would put “climate barbie” out as the face of his emerging dictatorship!

Trudeau = higher corporate costs and taxes. Trump = lower corporate costs and taxes. Where do you think Multinationals will relocate to?

Roy Jeanine commented …

“300 or more parasites were sent to Paris to wine and dine on our dime.”

The number was 383 – more than Australia (46), the U.K. (96), the U.S. (148) combined. Some Ottawa civil servants flew back and forth twice. 30 attendees would have sufficed.

Here’s the story link:

Meanwhile JT cruises everywhere on his gas-guzzling private jet (instead of sitting in Parliament), attending parades and soirees, lecturing us on the virtues of carbon tax, human rights, feminism, refugees and Diversity (arghh).

The man is a delusional hypocrite.

My sentiments exactly Rob. There are many places around the world in such upheaval that surely Justin and followers could immigrate there to satisfy their moral masturbating. No need to trash our country to get off, go to an already trashed country and leave Canada alone!

When will a Political Person suggest for trudeau and all of his brainwashed followers go to Syria and be a true warrior/‘s for Human Rights!! Or go to Saudi Arabia.. and help them with their concerns..trudeau do you hear us? liberal wing you hear us? We don’t need you here in Canada..We don’t want your BS belief’s shoved down our throats! Go away trudeau and wing nut liberals!.. don’t go away mad.. just go away!!..

“Brad Wall’s train wreck of a government?

Unbelievable! "

That line of thinking is quite believable if you lust for a wrecked economy and subjugation to the SJWs and to Political Correctness, as does Andrew Stephenson.

The thing to remember about socialist trolls like Andrew Stephenson, Jack Carter, and others like them is that anything that is opposite to reality and common sense is what they love and desire.

…and the oppression descends on us…right in front of our very eyes…and just a lot of squawkin’ and screechin’ in response…as the jackboots descend upon our necks, slowly choking the protest out of us…the oppression settles in…
Why are we allowing them to win!?

Brad Wall is my hero. I would like to see more interviews with him.
commented 2017-05-20 02:24:12 -0400
Michael Krchnak… I hope you are not confusing “Andy Neimers” with “Andrew Stephenson”?… Andrew Stephenson is the one who, in spite of elaborate and obtuse spin, can’t explain why Brad Wall is the most popular provincial premier in Canada, by far…
commented 2017-05-20 02:03:33 -0400
When that bimbo talks, it really is annoying. She is not even able to annunciate Saskatchewan properly. Fucking airhead.
Andy boy, we all know that you have drank the kol aid, all you regressives are useful idiots.
commented 2017-05-20 01:17:11 -0400
As well Andrew… You can always quit your soft touch cushy nonproductive job with the provincial government and get a real man’s job and become a productive member of society instead of a parasitic nipple sucking entity
commented 2017-05-20 01:13:31 -0400
Andrew Stevenson… I am myself I’m a refugee from Alberta migrating to Saskatchewan for better opportunities… It’s about time that somebody cuts and starts to dismantle the top-heavy government payload where everybody sucking on the nipple there… Good for Brad and he is way more popular than you think… The only man in Canada to stand up to little potato and tell him to go pound sand.

Well you certainly have pin pointed your location and political leaning and identified yourself as a public service worker. Only an old diehard entitled, disgruntled NDP’r whose nose is out of joint by the progress Wall has made would tell such lies. I hear he is asking for all public sector workers to take a 3.5 % pay cut. It’s kinda making you cranky isn’t it Andrew. My heart bleeds for your entitled ass.

“He (Wall) adds staff in his office and other ministerial staff will be taking nine unpaid days off a year, resulting in a 3.5 per cent salary cut.”

“This comes just one day after the premier announced he was giving up his $37,000 a year leaders allowance, ending a practice that has been in place for more than a decade.”

No, it’s perfectly believable. The interprovincial migration has been negative for four years, a few months ago the province crossed the threshold where more people have left Sask for other provinces, than vice-versa (did you know the inflow predates Wall? Wall never managed to achieve the influx achieved int he last six months of Calvert’s term, it’s all been immigration) The outflow also happened under the NDP, but at least the NDP could balance a budget (something Wall has had trouble with for years, running deficits in a far stronger economy than the NDP managed to balance them in). Now, he’s going back on his promises not to destroy the Crowns that make our province special.

His party’s starting to get aged and scandalous. Bill Boyd should be in jail for that nonsense at the GTH. Wall himself knows he’s cornered and increasingly unpopular. Guess what? When you raise PST on average working people while the corporate fat cats get away scot free. Never mind the sheer scumbag factor for retroactively cutting grants to municipalities and other issues. People noticed the library cuts and they are mad. To paraphrase the SGEU ad getting airtime on the radio points out, it’s not you or I that screwed up Saskatchewan, it’s Brad Wall. Why are we being forced to pay for his mistakes?
commented 2017-05-19 21:00:40 -0400
I would love to see Brian Pallister tag team with Wall on this one. Oh to have a politician with some fighting spirit to push back on Mrs Sunnyways. Maybe some of the other gutless wonders would then join in the fray. Time for or politicians to get militant on our behalf.

Andrew Stephenson why did carbon emissions go down under evil Harper , yet they only went up under Kyoto Libs?
commented 2017-05-19 20:02:26 -0400
Andrew Stephenson what a joke you are. You make it out like this tax will actually clean a damn thing LMAO! Why do you like dictators so much? Oh right , you need to be told what to think and say.

Andrew Stephenson,
girrrrrl….you’ve been hustled!
commented 2017-05-19 19:22:22 -0400
I read an article about Mr. wall and he said he was going to include the carbon tax as part of the transfer payment… I know that will send Ottawa shrieking back to the law making table.
I have said it before and I’ll say it again that “separation” is the only option we have left.!!
commented 2017-05-19 19:00:19 -0400
Saskatchewan had a chance to develop its own carbon regulations, to minimize impact and ensure it was revenue neutral for the average resident, but instead they’re being difficult and will lose the ability to control their own fate.

Entirely self-inflicted, although Brad Wall clearly needs a distraction from his train wreck of a government.
commented 2017-05-19 18:09:54 -0400
Hopefully Brad Wall WILL NEVER GIVEN TO THIS EVIL HYPOCRITICAL LIBERAL GOVERNMENT and IT’S WAY TIME TO LEAVE THIS SESSPOOL. TOO BAD MANITOBA CAVED IN TO DIRTBAG TRUDOOP. It would have been much better for Saskatchewan to have Manitoba with them. So much for Manitoba to have elected a PC government. Time to go, evil liberals view us as a COLONY and all they want from us is OUR MONEY. THEN THEY KICK US AROUND.
commented 2017-05-19 17:39:45 -0400
Good for Brad, he is the only provincial leader who leads. If the Supreme court gives it to the Fed’s there will be more talk of separation. Who needs this sh*t !
Mckenna looked nervous and she should. The provinces are only going to take so much of their being bossed around by these globalist liberal lunatics.

Of course moving the NEB to Ottawa will not be DIVISIVE according to the left wing hypocrites.
Stand your ground Brad, you are int he right. If you have to accept the tax then stop the cash.
commented 2017-05-19 16:59:15 -0400
We all know that the left-infused Canadian legal system will find a way to back the feds on this one, right up to the SCoC. Do I dare hope that Brad Wall has the gumption to trigger the next logical step when that happens – the first steps, including a referendum, to begin proceedings toward secession from the Confederation of Canada?

If Wall does have the fortitude to do it, I will start giving odds at that time as to how long it will take before the Canadian dollar falls to $0.70 against the new Saskatchewan dollar, if they start at par.
commented 2017-05-19 16:20:57 -0400
This McKenna is not a barbie at all. She’s a fat arms ugly retard, who thinks she can order every canadian to submit. Hope Wall doesn’t bend over.
