Trudeau’s National Aboriginal Day offerings all sizzle, and no steak

Brian LilleyArchive

Justin Trudeau says a lot of cool things but doesn't actually do much, and that was what happened for National Aboriginal Day

Trudeau changed the name of the day, the name of a building, and announced a new cultural centre.

But has he improved healthcare, water quality, education or job outcomes for aboriginals?

The answer is no.

Watch as I explain why the sizzle isn't as good as the steak.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, our buckskinned saviour, Baby Doc Trudeau gives millions of our Canadian tax dollars to health systems in foreign lands, money to help infrastructure in countries which publicly whip women for talking to non-family men or not covering up enough, but he can’t find the time or help for people in this country. He is generous to just about every non-Canadian and their governments, but sees us as a tax source to make himself look good.

(Only a lunatic would believe that creating a “carbon tax” will reduce CO2. CO2 is less than 4% of all green house gases; man’s share of that 4% is 3.25%; Canada’s share of the 3.25% is less than 2%. Statically insignificant but a carbon tax will provide a lot of money to foreign governments, right? Will it stop CO2 production? No.)

Time for him to understand: he will never get a seat at the Security Council no matter how much he bribes the rest of the world or wants to present Canada as a shinny example to the world as the world laughs at us.

Does Baby Doc even understand that a boil water advisory even means? Does he believe that its something the servants must do when they make tea for his wife, Princess HasNoBrains?

Laura Lacey… You brought up a very interesting piece of information about the aboriginal vote…
I am going to receive some backlash for what I’m about to say but here we go.
Natives living on land of entitlement also known as reservations are nation states within the country…
Meaning they actually own the land and it is known as “allodial land title”.. That means they have the right to create their own law never pay taxes to a foreign authority and
If they wanted they could create and use their own currency.
So in fact the native vote living from the reservation is a kin to people living in Sweden or Italy or Portugal having a vote in Canada and a say to what happens with our federal government here in Canada..
The Vatican in Rome is a nationstate as well and they are not bound by the treaties of Italy or anything else that happens by lawmaking or bureaucracy and has absolutely no effect on what happens to a nationstate like the Vatican or with the lands of entitlements here in Canada. only people living in Canada with no ties to any nation states or the like should be entitled to vote.
I’m not saying the natives shouldn’t have a right to vote I am saying that they shouldn’t have it both ways..
Meaning that the right to vote in Canada comes with certain obligations to the country and only people that are bound by the laws of this country deserve that right as they are only bound by the laws of this country when they travel off their lands of entitlement..! The reality is that not even the Rcmp or the military are allowed on native land unless they are invited.
So in effect that would mean to give up rights to nation state land of entitlement and all the rights and privileges that come with it for a say in Canada’s future with voting privileges.!!

Trudeau changed the name of a day, the name of a building and announced a new cultural center, Who Cares ? Who Cares about Canada’s 150th Birthday.
We are at War with Trudeau’s Government to protect our freedoms, especially Freedom of Speech.
We can celebrate those other days when we have a Country worth protecting which must include our freedoms.

I guess the reserves, like the budget, will balance themselves. His promises are as empty as the space between his ears.

It’s disgusting that Trudeau changed the name of the Langevin Block; I think he did this in order to compensate for not fulfilling promises he made to obtain full prior and informed consent (as required by the UN) from aboriginal bands before implementing actions that affect them. Also to compensate for the fact that he stated that he’d implement every single one of the 94 recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. He knows he won’t do that.

Trudeau promised a lot of people a lot of things, but as soon as he got the job, his priority shifted to the Syrian refugees and everyone else took a backseat. It will be interesting to see how he tries to blame the Conservatives for this.

Brian-great work-JT is as usual full of empty promises-the distressing thing is when are Canadians going to wake up to his absolute stupidity? Healthcare/water quality/jobs-so important to all, especially these people who have been treated so badly for so long. We re in deep trouble as long as he is the PM of this country-please, what can we all do?? Counting on you for an answer

On this day, June 21st:
1778 U.S. Constitution is ratified.
1834 C. H. McCormick patents the first practical reaper.
1887 Britain celebrates the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria.
1948 Dr. Peter Goldmark demonstrates his “long-playing” record.
1993 English mathematician Andrew Wiles proves last theorem of Fermat.
To celebrate these achievements of steak with less sizzle, I’ve decided to name this day;
Western Civilization Day

Andrew Mirlach commented …
“The self proclaimed “Natural Governing Party”, which has ruled more than 69 years during the 20th Century… "

This brings up the fact that if Justhair Trudeau were true to his political beliefs he would be running with the left-leaning NDP, not under the Liberals.

So why is he with the Liberal Party of Canada? a) because Daddy was; b) it’s the party of the Establishment and elitists; c) Liberals win elections, the NDP never does.

Therefore, it’s all about the power-grab, and the entitlement.

Prime Minister Pink Socks is in it for himself, not for you and me. All those broken election promises prove it.

By the way, who wears pink socks at a NATO summit, or rainbow socks at a G7 meeting?? Pathetic.

Justin Trudeau is nothing but a photo & selfie opportunist. All talk & no action. If it makes him look cool, that’s what he’s after, no substance. Billions have been thrown at the native communities on the reserves, with no accountability. Some of those Chiefs (not all, by any means) are getting richer, while their people still live in squalor. The Liberals don’t want the natives to succeed, because then they couldn’t pat themselves on the back about how great they are and most of all needed. There are many reserves who have become very successful, thanks to the pipelines & good leadership from their Chiefs & most of them along the KM pipeline are in favor of it, so why would you cut off your nose to spite your face. Trudeau wants to make himself feel important, standing there in front of an audience & promising the moon.
Now, what was wrong with the original name for the aboriginal holiday, absolutely nothing, but again makes him feel superior & important.
BTW! Are we not supposed to all be treated equally in this country, then why a special day for aboriginals, isn’t that called racism, since the rest of us are not granted anything of the sort & why the name change, it wasn’t good enough? If anyone should be granted a special day it’s the soldiers fighting the wars & the police officers who risk their lives everyday to keep us breathing for another day, in this crazy world of terrorism we now live in.
Trudeau is acting like it’s “show & tell” in the kindergarten class.

Laura Lacey the Libs established the schools. They just had the church do all the work.

French Catholic churches established the Indian Residential School system in Canada during the late 1830s. For more than 30 years, before Canada was confederated in 1867, French Catholic and British Anglican colonists used such institutions to, “kill the Indian in the child”.

The Liberal Party of Canada not only blocked the closure of Indian Residential Schools until 1996, but also blocked the Aboriginal vote in Canada until Diefenbaker’s Conservatives pushed it through Canadian parliament in 1960. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/north/first-nations-right-to-vote-granted-50-years-ago-1.899354

The only Prime Minister in Canadian history to officially apologize for the unfair treatment of Aboriginal peoples in Canada by consequent governments after the 1867 British North America Act was designed to include Aboriginals as citizens under Sir John A. MacDonald, was Stephen Harper. “The Day of the Apology”, which transpired in the House of Commons on June 11th, 2008, is a must watch for all Canadians. (19 minutes) https://vimeo.com/43821625

" … he’s [Trudeau] a complete and utter failure."

No surprise there. We all saw that even before the dim bulb was elected.

Since assuming power Trudeau hasn’t enacted one single policy or piece of legislation that hasn’t harmed Canadians, destroyed Canadian values, weakened Canada’s status and standing internationally, contributed to the destruction of the Canadian economy, or, helped improve the lot of any Canadians except for the already privileged Canadian Laurentian elites. We would be far better off to pay him his full salary to stay home and never show up for work. It would certainly save the tax payers a lot of money, and he could cause no harm. Proverbs has a few things to say about entrusting a fool with responsibility, and if nothing else, Trudeau certainly is a fool. So are those who voted for him.

Great report Brian Lilley.
Trudeau continually paves his road of broken promises and schedules photo ops all along the way…. the aboriginal voters who signed up for Trudeau’s Liberals must be seething.

“All sizzle and no steak.” The only sizzle that will ever happen with Trudope is when he will finally be "steak"ed out in Dante’s Inferno.

I wonder if they miss Harper yet? LOL
