Trudeau’s cabinet shuffle a costly embarrassment

Brian LilleyArchive

Dion and McCallum are going to be ambassadors and Chrystia Freeland will be their boss as the minister in charge of Global affairs Canada. What could possibly go wrong with this?

Plenty actually, but the first point is that the cost to taxpayers of Trudeau effectively retiring Stephane Dion and John McCallum, will be between $600,000 and $1M dollars for the by-elections.

Once again, you pay for his needs - political needs, vacation needs, nanny needs -- whatever Justin Trudeau needs you pay for it, big time.

Watch as I explain what else could go wrong with this move beginning with the diplomatic postings of Dion and McCallum and moving on to who the woman is that is now Canada’s top diplomat - Chrystia Freeland.

We are told part of the reason this is taking place is that the government needs a new face to deal with the incoming Trump administration.

Is Freeland, the globalist, the right choice when Trump most definitely is not?

Writing in the online magazine Little Pink book a few years ago Freeland wrote:

“If you're interested in public affairs and public policy, you have to understand your work in an international context. Just thinking of things within national boundaries is too narrow.”

Does she understand that Donald Trump is a big fan of national boundaries, or borders and is pulling back from what he calls bad trade deals, at least from the perspective of American workers?

Is that the way to make yourself at home with the new Trump administration?

This should go well.

The appointment of Ahmed Hussen ,a refugee from Somalia as Immigration Minister is intentionally a kick in the groin to Trump and his team. North American security was always worked on as a team. How could the US team tell Hussen that too many Somalia Refugees are dangerous and should not be allowed entry. Unless Hussen’s qualifications and working ability are above average, they won’t even invite him to meetings.
Give it two years before the US restricts or even closes the border, unless Terrorism stops. Not much chance of that. Another bad move JT.

A mere distraction with this cabinet shuffle, nothing accomplished after the first 1+ years , so swap a few ministers for even less talented ones, and call it an honest day’s work by Trudeau’s standards. And our taxes pay for this gong show.

As much as I detest Bill Maher, Freeland was on his show last year and Maher put her down a few times after making a fool of herself. She was talking, was corrected, talked, was corrected, the woman, like Trudeau has no sense of shame. She is a total airhead and it’s a wonder the thing hasn’t exploded yet. I think under her care we are going to be getting into some serious trouble along the way. Trudeau has appointed all these Nodules to office, quite simply because he doesn’t want anyone below him with more brain cells than the two he has. And that also makes them easier to control, because Trudie Tator Tot isn’t good with complicated.

So, does this mean more millions of dollars spent on office renovations so that ministers can live in a way that they have become accustomed to in their previous positions???? Not sure why Monsef has not been deported yet. As a minister she is a total failure, and as an immigrant she is a liar. Oh, of course, she is a woman, a “refugee” and a parrot of the Liberal talking points. I would be interested in hearing what her actual thoughts are… beyond the repetition of the talking points. Is there such a thing?
commented 2017-01-10 20:54:28 -0500
Is Monsef being deported or demoted?
commented 2017-01-10 20:20:23 -0500
Uhh…. Uhhh… Because…. it’s… Ummm… Like 2017?

I see a parallel between twerp’s cabinet and the “out of their league” group of misfits here in Alberta. Both useless.

CANADIAN MONGREL….Don’t be so hard on yourself. Shit happens. People are going to wonder about the Peace country though…..that’s quite the group you rattled off.

Who gives a crap, let’s just separate already.
commented 2017-01-10 20:08:25 -0500
Where did Monsef end up with this Cabinet shuffle?
commented 2017-01-10 20:05:52 -0500
So there will soon be bi-elections in Dion’s and MacCaulum’s ridings….get motivated people.

Each day the Liberals never fail to do something more insane than the day before! You have to give them credit! Kathleen Wynne cutting healthcare in Ontario, Tomorrow, it wouldn’t surprise me if they bring in 6,000 more refugees! Could anything be more insane?

The first meeting between Trump and Freeland…..anyone going to reord this? I’d buy a copy.
commented 2017-01-10 19:20:18 -0500
Sadly, all of us living in or near the Town of Peace River have to wear paper bags over our head since this is where Freeland is from. Sorry Canada.

It is just like apologizing for Notley to other Albertans. Sorry Alberta.

My problem is I cannot how these two, along with Notley’s invisible energy minister, were a product of the Peace.

Once again: sorry Alberta, Sorry Canada, Sorry G8, Sorry World, Sorry….

He also appointed her to shake things up and divert any attention to his vacationing and all his other corruption. MSM will do nothing but focus on this.
Reinvent the wheel and start all over again.

The whole Liberal cabinet is a herd of idiots. Their love affair China is treasonous.

Canada is now being run by the same SJW cry bullies that are being created in our Universities. There is absolutely no difference between the triggered-sensitive, safe-space-seeking sissies being taught by Marxist Liberal professors in our Universities, and the globalist elite Marxist Liberal politicians who are currently in power… not just federally but in several provinces as well. How the hell did this happen? When the hell did we, the adults, abandon our responsibility and turn the running of the country over to the spoiled children… and how did we do it? I know who I voted for, but Justin would never have been elected if a whole lot of folks hadn’t abdicated their responsibility for managing their own lives and bought into the “We’ll take care of you” lies perpetuated by JT prior to the election. And, although I’m not a well educated man, his profound stupidity was so obvious every time he opened his mouth that I was confused when ever I’d hear MSM praising him for his depth and gravitas. I had to wonder if we were from the same planet. But really, If we have a Prime Minister with the IQ of a potted plant, can we really expect him to appoint Ministers of intellect who are proficient in deductive logic and reasoning? I think not. We are stuck with being the laughing stock of the world until the Liberal tenure at the helm comes to an end. On the positive side, there are still many liberal democratic foreign leaders who remember Stephan Harper fondly, and refer to his leadership in world affairs with gratitude. So hopefully there may be light at the end of this long, dark tunnel…. If Canadians learned their lesson.

1. He appointed her because she is female hoping Kellyanne Conway will have to deal with her and Bill Maher will ask her back.
2. He appointed her because she will simply take one of her hissy fits, tell Trump’s team to stop interrupting her (as she used to do on P&P) and then run out crying.
3. He appointed her because he is as stupid as she is.
4. Does she has some kind of problem with her head or neurological problem? While Peti Pot was being interviewed today, she kept twitching and darting her eyes back and forth. Very, very odd.

I don’t want to say, ‘Can it get any worse?’ – you know the embarrassment of being a Canadian today under the retarded mismanagement of Justin Butts’ Liberals – because of course we all know that in fact it can get worse – and more than likely will get worse – much worse…Oh Canada.

Brian, I’m surprised you didn’t mention the new Minister of Immigration, Ahmed Hussen. Yup, that’s right, he is Islamic, and was a refugee from Somalia. Like you said, “What could go wrong?”.

I’m so fed up with Junior and Freehand, all of them, fed up! Is there no system in Canada that these appointments have to be vetted by the Senate before they are confirmed???? What is going on, we are being led by a bunch of idiots and sadly we are paying for it.
commented 2017-01-10 18:29:41 -0500
Trump and his new crew read the "Little Pink Book " all the time, so they will get along fine together.
Sounds like the type of reading Justin enjoys.

There should be lots for Freeland to bawl her face off about as minister of global affairs. Good pick Little Potato-Head.

Is McCallum going to be the ambassador to Scotland where all the great scotch is kept? – I bet they need our official opinion on how each batch released to Canada tastes

Or will he be Canada’s trade ambassador to the Bacardi factory?

…after she cries because big bad Trump won’t listen to her whinning.

Not just his low !Q cabinet but Junior’s entire cuck regime will prove a very costly mistake for Canadians which they will feel probably before his first term is up.

Trump will hand them their ass.
