Trudeau’s changes to Supreme Court of Canada will tip scales toward Laurentian elite

Brian LilleyArchive

After almost 150 years, we’re about to get a new way of choosing Supreme Court justices in Canada. Justin Trudeau revealed the changes we can expect not in Parliament, but in the editorial pages of the Globe & Mail.

Watch as I go through the op-ed outlining the changes and demonstrating this is just another step on Trudeau’s fundamental transformation of Canada.

He doesn’t want the best legal minds and isn’t concerned with respecting the geographical diversity of the court favouring instead the Laurentian elites from the Montreal-Ottawa corridor and now he’s about to make it happen.

Elections have consequences.

4 Freedom – the resistance and change/correction to top down control systems must be organic and come from the grass roots, the current system is set up to resist change, working in it is a waste of effort. citizens have to become informed, regain some self worth and put down the stupid left-right, black-white and other warring groups they have shoved us into to keep us fragmented and fighting each other – corrupted/coopted political systems are only corrected by mass, unified civil action.

The proposed method is almost exactly how it’s done in Israel, and will lead to exactly the same problems that they have there: an entrenched, self-perpetuating judicial elite.

And it’ll be very hard to undo, because it’ll look like undoing it is the tampering.

Guys, why do you think stacking the SCC is a priority now for PET ver. 2.0? Because he wants a rubber stamp on any challenge Canadians may want to make to him rigging democracy with prep-rep and weighted ballots.

Also there may be a challenge to unilateral signing on to the TPP trade deal which makes carbon trading (thin air taxing/banking mandatory condition.

The ship for Canada’s middle class is sinking fast – that was his real mandate from the global elites who installed him.

Someone run the bastard over.

Bill Elder is correct……it is nothing more than an exercise in futility and entrapment into the circuitous drama wheel of meaningless bantering. Time is better spent to prepare and plan for freedom’s last stand.

Straight and narrow is the path…….waste no time!

Richard Lawrence commented – “Canezuela in the making one step at a time, Someone please hit the reset button.”

Muldoom had 2 super majority terms to do it and Harper had 4 yrs to put on the brakes and 4 yrs to start the correction – but what was his claim to fame? He holds a lush picnic for his globalist G20 buddies and Muldoom sold our ass out to globalists with the NFTA and the GST – PM selfie has instituted thin air taxing and cultural balkanization – these guys are just frik and frak 2 sides to the same coin – ever notice how you change governments but the globalist agenda just keeps stealing your rights and prosperity?

PM Junior will sell us out to the TPP, that’s why he was installed.

how much farther to the left could our SoC become?
BTW anyone actually notice that our american cousins are on the brink of tyranny aidd and abetted by top law enforcement and self righteous greed of the msm…and believe me fox is no different than cnn…

I don’t know why you guys are getting all hung up on what color or ethnicity these ringers are going to be – its irrelevant because Junior has no say, this is the globalist cabal in the PMO and LPC oligarchy who are pulling the switches – the first thing you learn about self proclaimed “progressives” or brand-wearing Liberals is that they don’t really buy into all this diversity-multi-culti BS, they are stone cold cl class structure elites with only continuity of status hierarchy and self-serving agendas at heart when they act.

The appointees will be chosen for their servitude to the globalist elite and every other detail is moot.

Nothing more than further “rigging” of the system. These are all critical steps in securing and executing the neo-Marxist plan, for which, many already have been achieved. Once again, Prime Sinister Ju-Stalin Turd-dough is proving his willful contemptuousness and complete and total disregard for the (soon not to be) free people of this country. Communism is only an elitist’s fat rat’s romp away from our door.

The time couldn’t be more obvious for Western Separation.

Of course if the conservatives ever get back into power, assuming we will still have a democracy by the time Justin is done, and uses this to their advantage ,this will suddenly be a horrible dictatorial way to pick the Supreme Court members. The media party and the left will be all aghast.
commented 2016-08-02 18:33:26 -0400
Maybe 25000 wasn’t enough.

Sometimes , I think, that Diversity means —-the World if too full of White people , Christians and Jews. Just going by Justin, Obama, the UN and the EU.
commented 2016-08-02 18:31:55 -0400
And the dictator train gets rolling a little faster. Of course the left and it’s brainwashing media and the university propaganda machine will play this like a great leap forward for freedom.

What? I can hardly believe our esteemed prime minister would do everything in his power to ensure that the west (read anyone west of Ottawa) is removed from the circles of power.
commented 2016-08-02 18:27:16 -0400
The term “diversity” has even been used in legal jurisdiction by the Supreme Justice of our lamentable Supreme Court……..due to become even more lamentable under Justin Trudeau’s agenda.
commented 2016-08-02 18:25:25 -0400
“Diversity” was once (and still should be) a neutral term. Such as in diversity (variety) is the spice of life. But now it has become an insidious MORAL term with MORAL weight that it should not have.
Whenever I hear the term “diversity” used in political, ethical, philosophical, or religious discourse, I see red.
commented 2016-08-02 18:23:56 -0400
Someone get rid of this prick!
commented 2016-08-02 18:15:10 -0400
I don’t know what this " Diversity of Our Great Country" means ANYMORE . This in itself should be a warning to Politicians. When Politicians make blanket statements like this —-they should really let the People know what they mean. Either you don’t know what you mean or you are just plain afraid to tell the Truth.
commented 2016-08-02 18:12:28 -0400
You’ll notice the 7 member Advisory Board is loaded with leftist, LPC narrative compliant, politically correct appointees.
They will choose candidates that fit the government’s narrative, and then Justin Trudeau will pick the best of the best (the most compliant) from that list.
Brian, you also quoted in your piece, from JT, “…they must also represent the diversity of our great country.” Diversity? So let’s reduce the pool of candidates even further. In other words, no white men need apply (they don’t contribute to diversity). We all know the legal profession is stacked heavily with white men, so this will reduce the candidates substantially.
So the next judge will be
• Non-white
• functionally bilingual (English/French)
And ideally will also be a combination of:
• a visible minority
• female (transgender would be ideal, but I’m not sure how many there are that would qualify under the other requirements)
• have a disability
After all, it’s (insert year here).

The French elitist are circling their wagons.

Trudeau will be filling these spots with Liberal Party members. Most will be women, from Quebec, and all will be the Regressive Left. What’s new?
commented 2016-08-02 18:01:26 -0400
Our justice system will become less and less just. That’s how totalitarian governments and leaders work.
commented 2016-08-02 17:59:43 -0400
I do not support the violent overthrow (assassination) of such a tyrannical dictator as Justin Trudeau, but if he were assassinated (ironically and via poetic justice, let’s say, by Islamic terrorists), I would probably cork a bottle of champagne to celebrate.
Then get on with the justified warfare against Islamic Jihad and cultural Marxism.
commented 2016-08-02 17:58:28 -0400
Well you need globalist kangaroos to rubber stamp the “post national” sell out of Canada to the global elite. Didn’t one of the existing kangaroos say that Canadian law needs to reflect “global values”.?

I see no future for law making from the bench.
commented 2016-08-02 17:55:06 -0400
And so the tyrant Justin Trudeau continues insidiously to lay his plot of totalitarian rule in the name of neo-Marxism and multiculturalist dictatorship.
