Trudeau’s engineered Stampede visit fails to hit Liberal “safe spaces” only

Justin Trudeau seems to have had a change of heart and decided to make an appearance at the Calgary Stampede after all

Initially, his office cited scheduling conflicts to explain why he wouldn’t attend this year, but then it was revealed that what was actually on his schedule were three personal days in a row as well as some private meetings.

That seemed to affirm much of the speculation floating around that he was too scared to come because he forgot to mention Alberta in his Canada Day speech.

But even he knew it was bad form not to visit the city’s biggest event of the year, the Stampede, especially at a time when Calgary is struggling with the highest unemployment numbers in the country. The oil and gas sector is struggling but his visit seemed meticulously planned so Justin only visited Liberal safe spaces, thus avoiding running into fed up Albertans.

His itinerary was full of photo ops in friendly territory but despite the carefully planned PR visit, he still couldn’t escape scrutiny.

Watch as I show you some of what Trudeau encountered that you likely won’t see in the compliant media.

The visit was crafted to give the impression to the rest of the country and the world, that Trudeau is well liked in Alberta.

But he didn’t come to support the economic engine of the country that’s suffering primarily due to three levels of incompetent government. He came here for Justin Trudeau.

Only in Alberta do we know how much this Prime Minister is hated and somehow, that doesn’t translate into the photos and softball news stories that are manufactured for mass consumption.

But I was there and heard the frustrated Calgarian yelling over the band even if Trudeau didn’t. And now you have too.

What a shameful excuse for the PM of Canada! Every time I see his face I feel like I’ve been assaulted. This is the glamour boy that the MSM hoisted on Canadians to destroy our country. It’s truly sickening to watch this nobody being fawned over like he’s some kind of star. He darkened Calgary’s door step for another photo op by his handlers. Just wait until those who voted for this skunk receive the bill!

The butt head (G. Butts) must have set this all up.

Trudeau is a scaredy cat, he can’t function unless he’s in a safe space. Why bother going to the stampede if you’re only going to mingle with those who fawn over him, but it makes him look good with his base as he pretends to care. It’s all phoney balogne as always, he should have stayed home & where was Sophie & the kids who follow him everywhere else he goes, I guess AB is not good enough for them either.

Mike Krchnak—-The neighbor with the sign about Trudeau will be one of my highlights of 2017.
What a cagey and gutsy guy to outsmart Trudeau’s Security.

Mongrel….as am I, bred, born and raised in Calgary. I left early eighties and planned on returning then the Olympics forever changed the city. To many transplants that brought their political leanings with them. I visit often, lots of family and friends, but enjoy seeing it in the rear view mirror.
Two thumbs up to the neighbor with the sign.

THat Picture is the worst case of cultural appropriation I’ve ever witnessed – a shallow privileged trust fund Lauentian elite posing as a western working class man. Something just so toxic about this deception.

Justin Trudeau is so unctuous. Just a slime ball.

Space Moose,

Maybe. But a bit of an exaggeration. The Perseid happens Aug 11-13. Quite a pre-dawn show at 50/hr. If you haven’t observed it make the time to get away from the city lights. Worth your while.

Someone with your pen name needs to see it. Then do the Geminid Dec 13-14, even more spectacular at 75/hr with the cold air. Once I watched that shower through the Northern Lights…mind’s picture.

I have bad news for Jr., Tucker Carlson just did his opening segment on Tucker Carlson tonight and he covered Jr.’s payout to Kadr. Tomorrow night Tucker is having the U.S. serviceman wounded by Kadr on as a guest. Jr. is being outed to the entire U.S. on the most popular cable news show in the time slot. Cue the CBC war room damage control department.

Have to laugh. Is Lisa Weber below Kelly Weber’s wife?

It’s my Grandmother. She’s 85 and still kicking it. You looking for a hookup? You like them old and shrivelled?

I am too old. Born and bred in Calgary, but left in the mid-70’s to work when the population was all of 350 000. Never missed a Stampede, loving the rodeo and stock barns. Also, I do not remember the Stampede as being on the political tour junket. In fact, it was apolitical and fun, ranchers came from both political sides with notable liberals being Grant McEwan and Harry Hays. If federal politicians were present, it was because they were Calgarian or because they wanted to be present not because they felt they had to be present to garner reputation. I guess that was the cost of Calgary growing, the loss of community that was Stampede.

I was disappointed in his successful visit to Alberta. (although staged) I was expecting him speaking to a large crowd with half of them turning their backs to him with the rest Booing.
We should adopt the European system where you blow whistles so his speech cannot be heard.
Trudeau would then bring in a new law making whistle blowing a crime in Canada.

He can trot out as many Syrian refugee babies as he likes, doesn’t change my opinion of this betrayer of Canadians!
His official photographer must get tired of taking the same kind of photos, day in and day out! Yawn!

He had it easy in Calgary. He better never come in my town in Quebec, because he’ll know that some Quebecers are not as polite and reserved as english canadians with jerks like him.
