Alison Azer is the Canadian mother who lost her four children when her estranged husband took them on what was supposed to be a family vacation and instead took them to Iran, refusing to return them.
Not enough is being done on the Canadian diplomatic front.
Watch as I provide a compare and contrast of another situation that required diplomatic pressure which illustrates the difference between Justin Trudeau when he was in opposition and Justin Trudeau now that he’s Prime Minister.
Trudeau pulled out all the stops when he was telling Harper what he should do on behalf of Mohamed Fahmy but now that a woman’s four Canadian born children are stuck in Iran, he’s being less strident.
Also less strident overall is Canada’s Media Party.
Word is that the only thing standing in the way of ending Alison Azer’s nightmare is a lack of ambition and activism from the Canadian government.
It’s a shame that Justin can’t stand up for these four Canadian born children the way he used to stand up for Mohamed Fahmy.
