Trudeau’s NEB plan is another “arrogant” affront to western Canada

Brian LilleyRebel Co-Founder

He promised not to bring in a National Energy Program like his daddy did, but Justin Trudeau’s arrogant ways when it comes to western Canada are no different.

So after imposing a tanker ban with no study; after saying provinces will bring in a carbon tax; after killing the Northern Gateway Pipeline, now Trudeau’s government is looking at scrapping the Calgary-based National Energy Board and moving it to Ottawa to make it more independent.

This decision is based on feelings, not science.

One thing that Stephen Harper accomplished and that Justin Trudeau is reversing is taking the wind out of the sails of separatist movements in both Quebec and the West.

Now Trudeau is reviving the old regional divides by bringing the same arrogant, "Ottawa knows best" attitude that his father had.

“Republic of Western Canada?” You mean the Caliphate of Canada.

We have to put an agenda together. FIRST, we have to unite under one banner and defeat his gov’t. He is distracting us and angering us because we just won’t like him. Chretien won too many elections just by dividing us and we scattered our votes. Pick one team, we’ll all get behind them and defeat the bum. He detracts votes from the conservatives by making us want to leave. It’s all planned but we cannot become sheep and lose focus. Take him out then make sure we continue our plan to leave. Don’t split the vote, that’s how Alberta got Notley.

DAN MANCUSO I,m with you 100%. I will donate to the potential crowd-funded hit. Just get it started.
I have long stated that we Canadians have to do something to stop this reckless asshole from absolutely ruining our Canada.
It is about time for true Canadians to stand up and be counted. If we don’t save our country then who in the hell will?

In regard to the well deserved disdain the West has for the Trudeau bloodline, from a pragmatic perspective I can’t see Western Separation ever actually happening, and certainly not before the next election cycle, in spite of how badly it may be needed and how many people see it as a last ditch effort to survive the Eastern Establishment Globalists.
So I was just wondering what the potential take would be if one could crowd-fund a hit on this reckless imbecile…because Canada will not survive this traitor and his master’s machinations…

A premise underlying Lilley’s sermon is that Western Canadian separatism is a threat that must be defeated. This view is obviously not shared by western-based Rebel Media fans. As for Saint Stephen of Harper “not messing with Alberta” – during his tenure as PM (2006-2015) Alberta’s net contribution to federalism (from transfers and equalisation payments) was almost $200 Billion. Thanks Steve!

And so the clock begins ticking.
One would have thought, given the dislike folks out here still have for Daddy and his arrogance, that the last thing anyone with a functioning brain cell would do would be to reopen the same energy scar 35 years later. Given events, it says much about Junior’s complete lack of intellectual capacity and confirms his arrogance in believing that, really, only those living in the Central Canadian Bubble are capable of making the “right” decisions for an “approved” Canada.
I have commented on other posts about how this country is headed over a cliff unless there is a push from legislators to modernise the mechanics of Confederation. The Selfie Queen’s decision here, apparently undertaken simply because he can, is proof positive that the West in particular has been living a pipe dream in thinking this alleged Confederation of equals has in any way been progressing since the 1980’s.
Time to push the very real notion that “Northern” Ontario, the Prairies and the BC Interior – more or less all purchased from the Hudson’s Bay Company, and settled as they were by the influx and collective efforts of a diverse immigrant population lured by the Federal government into the “untamed” regions of a younger Canada to do the forestry, farming and mining – are every bit as distinct a society as is Quebec, and that (like Quebec) we as a distinct society have the capacity to leave the Bubble behind.

May the Republic of Western Canada be Trudeau’s legacy.

It’s easy for Ontario and Quebec to be Cultural Marxists when Western provinces pay their bills.
The West needs to separate into its own Republic. The tyranny of the Eastern majority will never end until the West separates.

No one is winning from PM blank boy’s mismanagement of energy resources. The East will join the west in freezing in the dark due to affordable abundant fuel and power generation going off line – if you think you can heat an eastern metroplex in TO with fluro-lightbulbs and windmills you are probably not paying a monthy energy bill or been out of daycare long enough to har your mommy and daddy complaining about the strain high energy bills have on them. Of course there all the industries and small businesses folding in Ont. because energy overhead is too much. Yes, punishing Canada for being energy self sufficient is just so damn good for everyone.

Make sure to Alberta in this communist country so you can continue to take up the ass from the east.

This is the usual leftist projecting their own faults and failures on others. “Scrapping the Calgary-based National Energy Board and moving it to Ottawa to make it more independent?” In actual fact he is doing this to make it “independent” in his favor. Having the Board close to the center of the Oil industry’s center of operations might cause people to become too familiar, based upon the fact that they are in close proximity, dealing with issues related to oil and gas. Is that worse than having this Board far away and unaccountable? Run by people with little to no understanding of the industry? If that is the better way, let’s move the CRTC, CBC and Bombardier to Norman Wells and the Fisheries and Oceans and Ontario Supply Management offices to Saskatoon. They will all become a lot more independent and less familiar with people from the industries they pretend represent right?

Trudeau is rapidly sinking down to the level of Despot, he will be remembered (Soon I hope) in the same way that Stalin and Hitler are.

Funny. I still have my old style farmer’s hat from the 70’s with the Republic of Western Canada logo. It is great to know that it is back in style after 33 years since Papa Doc resigned in disgrace. It is back on the coat hook for wearing.

Trudeau is all about seats in the east, and maybe a dozen out west in downtown hipsterville (Vancouver).
You’re right Brian. Trudeau is dividing this country.
Justin’s favourite thing is “Diversity”, except his notion of diversity means dividing us by geography, religion, race, gender, etc.

Has anybody asked the big talkin man Kent Hehr what he thinks of all this?
It would be comical to listen to the answer. So much for the constituents.

Brian Lilley, I rather there be a Republic of Western Canada … and Brad Wall as the PM of that new republic.
