Trudeau’s policies will get Canada “Trumped”

Brian LilleyArchive

Donald Trump and Justin Trudeau are about to take the countries they run in two very different directions

Progressives might cheer on Trudeau, but they shouldn't.

While Trump is promising to cut taxes and regulations, Trudeau is promising to go the other way.

What will that mean for Canada?

Watch as I explain how Trudeau's policies will mean everything from fewer jobs to fewer doctors.

MARTY ASHFIELD observed: “He is a true BASTARD.”

Could very well be. Remarkable resemblance to his hero Fidel Castro!

Has anyone been reading the writing on the wall for Trumps tax plans?
Currently Canadian Business has lower taxes than the Americans. This will change drastically after Trump takes power. Very soon America’s business taxe rates will be similar to thier personal income taxes.
In Canada, our business tax rates will be right up there with our personal rates of taxation, add the difference in the monetary exchange rate, the new carbon taxes etc., and now Canada is uncompetitive in business and trade. This of course will be all Donald Trumps fault, as how dare he reject Liberal Socialism and make " America Great Again ".
The Liberals and thier bought and paid for media, are destroying Canada, hands down!

TRUMP will take him to the woodshed
Then we will have to lock him up
Throw away the key , no selfies , no hair dressers for 5 years

Trump is not the biggest threat to Canada’s economy, it is the liberal party’s belief that Canada can prosper without ties to the US. Our economies are so interconnected that we have to somewhat change our policies to conform to theirs. To think otherwise is a recipe for disaster.

Let the doctors go to the states, there are plenty of Syrian, Iraqi, Nigerian, Cuban, and Bangladeshi doctors to replace them.

Both the Notley government and the Trudeau government have made the same rookie mistake, they have painted themselves into a corner where everything depends on the Democrats retaining power in the US. They gambled, and we lost. So where’s Plan B? No surprise, there isn’t one.
It doesn’t get any stupider than this.

The fact that large numbers of whining leftist Hollywood celebrities threatened to move here if Trump won the election tells me everything I need to know about how Canada (and Justin Trudeau) is presently perceived in the United States. With President Trump in charge, the results for us ain’t gonna be pretty.

If we have a government in power that makes the likes of Lena Dunham and Miley Cyrus want to move here, this country has taken a SERIOUS wrong turn…

Why is it that every time I hear lil’ spud run his mouth, I find myself saying, what the frig was that I just heard? – none of his deflective rhetoric makes any logical sense. - Case in point; using the word “diversity” in relation to petro markets – from strictly a business perspective, “diversity of markets” is of and by itself of no inherent value – what matters in petro business is long term supply contracts at FAIR prices (not necessarily global prices). – we had long term contracts but spud dragged his feet and shut down the cost-effective logistics of getting our energy to that secure market putting us at competitive disadvantage. “diversity” is a meaningless social construct inappropriately applied to pragmatic business dynamics – it indicates our “fake PM”s has the business acumen of a 3rd rate drama coach.

The other reoccurring myth I hear spewed like a cultist mantra from the Ottawa globalists is that economic prosperity and environmental regulation go “hand in hand” – if you are the least bit familiar with the climate and eco alarmist political doctrines (the UN writings/treaties and wish list of transnational eco/climate authoritarians) the agenda for their green utopian involves dismantling capitalism – which has been proven amply in the last century to be a disaster for every nation anti-capitalist systems were attempted. I cite Venezuela as the prime modern example – energy rich but bankrupt by anti-capitalist policy.

We have dangerously ignorant people at the helm, but Trump’s market pressure from out largest trading partner will soften the impending economic hardship here to some degree.
